::as the approached the caves at the opposite side, they were greeted with a few happy yet tired smiles. It seemed that at least most of the young and old had made it out, yet that was not promising as it would have been to also find shinobi::
::she set Shunketsu against a wall, helping steady him as he sat down and then moved off to a corner with a few of the older women in order to get an update of the situation::

*Shunketsu sat there, trying to heal his wounds...he concentrated a bit more chakra to his injuries...but there wasn't much...*

::hinata nodded a few times while the old lady spoke with her, she seemed tired, but at least it seemed that they had gotten as many of the innocent people out of the village as they could::
::She also had a chance to greet a few of the injured shinobi that had be brought in. She exchanged short stories with them before moving out to find out what else was going on::

::A Few Uneventful Days Later::
*Shunketsu stood patrol on a makeshift wall that was made to protect the enormous gap made in the main wall...*
*Shunketsu's wounds had healed the day before and he immediately returned to duty...he was doing a little rehabilitation training on the wall as he stood sentry...*
*Shunketsu stopped practicing his Tenrai Sutairu taijutsu and looked down at the wall below...it was saddening...it looked as if it'd collapse if a bunny attacked it...but alas, other parts of Konoha took priority in reconstruction...Shunketsu sat down and looked out beyond the village...he was awaiting word from Hinata, Kotai, or any other shinobi as to the status of the village, and to what would be their next move...Shunketsu wanted to get some revenge...but he knew he had to get much stronger to stand a chance next time around...being only at chuunin level was starting to bug him...*
*Shunketsu stood back up and started practicing again...*

::Hinata walked the top of the wall, a bandage still wrapped tight around her forhead, covering what remained of a bad scrape and the "bird" symbol of her house. She rubbed her eyes, shaking sleepiness from her body as much as she could. Lately, sleep had not been friendly. More often than not she found herself jolting awake reaching for someone or something in the night::
::some of her house had made it, alive, but there had been many lost, just like the others. But, right now, she could not afford to think of that::
::as she approached she saw shunketsu practicing. A pity that such a man had to be shaped in the time of war. One could only wonder what he would have been like had he never seen this war::

you look like you could do with a bit more rest...but tell me, how's the village coming along? anything new happen?

::she smiled, and shook her head:: Nothing new has really come up. As always we are a bit short on main power, people are edgy and suspicious, and everyone is tired. The rebuilding is going well enough, but I'm wondering how long until we need to resupply.

I see, well, Hinata-san, you should take a rest while you can...a tired shinobi won't be of much help in a fight...
