*making sure shes well secured, he drops onto all fours and begins to leap after their assailents using his raw power to leap over things that wouldve normally been impassable* make sure im still going to right way i never saw them and their scent is all over the place *he yells back to ces as he continues to pound along to mountainside*

You're headed in the right direction... You're right, their smell is all over the place! Dwarves cannot mask their scent!

*suddenly skidding to a halt dropping his hindquarters almost all the way to the ground so Ces wouldnt go flying over his shoulders due to the momentum, he stops and begins to sniff the air intently* watch out their stink is all over here... do you see anyplace they might be hiding?

*scans the area. This takes her a minute, as the world came so abruptly into focus that it was a little amazing.*
There!
*points to a large gap between two boulders in the mountainside. It's a very typical home for dwarves, as they are fond of dark enclosed spaces in or around mountains.*
I think that we were not their intended captives, but I'm not above making them suffer for it anyway!

*smiling happy to repay what they did to ces tenfold back onto them* ok hold tight i dont want you falling back and hurting yourself more, if you need to sink your claws in, do it ! it wont bother me at all *starts to slowly make his way to the hole just barely big enough to allow him enter still standing up as he scans for an ambush*

*gets a flashback of hellcat babies and the horrible things they did to Fenris, but hopes that the Dwarves are less vicious.*
*there is no sign of an ambush, as Fenris's speed in chasing the dwarves would leave them with no time to prepare something for the possible attack. When they enter, however, the cave is surprisingly light, as if electrically lit.*

*the deeper they travel, the lighter the cave seems to get, until they are surrounded by light in a huge open hollow cave in the mountain. It looks as if the mountain was a volcano at one point that had since cooled and now housed an entire army of Dwarves. Everywhere they look, Dwarves are standing outside platforms outside smaller caves, many look like family members and many more look at the lycans in fear.*
Whoa.
*the word echos strangely around the cavern, but it is the only sound above that of whispering, frightened Dwarves.*

*suddenly, as if appearing from nowhere, a small army stands guarding a pedistal in the far courner of the cavern. The lycans would not have noticed this had not the army's presance alerted them to it. Atop the pedistal, something glowed unnaturally brightly, and it was easy to assume that the light in the cave was from this source.*

*standing up to his full height the dwarves barely come up to the top of his knees * why did you try and trap us !!!! *he bellows ready to fight the entire army of dwarves and paint the cave red with blood*

*one dwarf seporates himself from the army, looking old and warn, and looks tiredly up at Fenris and Ces. He says,
"We meant not to trap you, though we were wise to do so if you're going to fight with us. We merely intended to keep the huge mountain troll away from our village, as he has come here twice to feed on our village. This is why we cannot fight you, as most of our young men were slaughtered by the troll earlier. However, if you kill the troll for us, we will give you our most prized posession..."
*he pointed twards the light*
"... the Sword of Light."*

*he regards the old dwarf coolly* we will still need your help, trolls have awful regenerative abilities... ill need some of your men ready to burn the parts of the troll so they dont spawn into new trolls or rengenerate into the first one again.

*the little dwarf elder nods, accepting these terms.*
*Ces, still clinging to Fenris's back, looks around more closely, wondering if this is a trap. She did not smell troll as they traveled here. Still, it's possible that the troll had not been around in several days, and the recent rains had washed away its scent. She says nothing, but her concern is felt through Fenris's fur.*

"as do i old one" *he replies to the dwarf while his scent tells Ces that he felt her warning and is taking it seriously* "where is this troll, so that we may slay it ?"
