Kanita had quickly ran infront of Lena, blocking the attack. "Same as before onna?" She laughed as she had pushed the girl away. "If you want him so badly, then you would have to go through me."

Dais turned to Rowen, his brain working fast to catch up on everything that had happened. "Where is Kayura?"

Kale shook his head, slowly. "Lena, there is a voice telling you that you are doing wrong. Can you hear it? It is the voice you have always known."
Tusuki shouted, "Enough of this nonsense! Lena, Sehkmet, kill them both!"

"Will you? Will you actually kill off your friends for a woman whom thinks that she knows everything about you?!" Kanita asked as she had flicked out her wrists, causing spikes to appear on both of her elbows.

Lena blinked slightly, listening to Kale for a moment before Tusuki's cry bellowed it out. Shaking her head, she shook off the thoughts to offer a feral grin, the dark spirits in control, her mind their's, "Is this what you think will get to me? THe dark spirits are rather fun right now....I don't think I want to give them up just yet..."

Rowen whirled about, raising his eyebrows in surprise before smiling, "You're alright? GOod....Kayura has gone with Kanita in search of Kale. THey are trying to convince him to come to our side....Unfortunately, Tusuki has Lena on hers...so this could be ugly.."

Sehkmet knocked Kanita to the ground. He drew his sword, and let his poison gather on the tip of his blade. "You want a taste, whoever you are? You want a taste of my poison?"
"Enough of this," Kale said. "Tusuki, if you promise to stop attacking, I'll go with you."
"Don't do that!" Kayura shouted.
Tusuki considered this for a moment. "Would you?" She asked.
"Yes," Kale replied.

Lena blinked, lowering her fan. She was taken by a bit of shock, that much was for sure. A voice insider her head was saying No...her heart. Her mind? Yes...why was their this confliction. It seemed like she had been this way forever, but then she turned to Sehkmet, watching him threaten Kanita. Something clicked in her mind, "No! Sehkmet!"
Raising a hand up, she errected a spiritual shield before thinking about Kanita, not letting the poison drip to her being.

"If you want to taste the mist." Kanita stated with a laugh, her grib tightend on to her double spear. Hearing Kale give up so quickly caused the girl's eyes to widen. "Do not do it Kale!" Kanita stated as she was glaring at Sekhmet.

Sehkmet's poison dripped from his sword, and hit...air? "A shield," Sehkmet said.
Tusuki grabbed Kale and Sehkmet, again focusing her energies into the staff. "Lena, if you want to follow, use your own power. If you are still on my side, that is."
Then, the three of them were gone.
"Ah, dammit!" Kayura said, punching the ground. "I can't believe he did that!"

"How hard will it be for him to convert?" Kanita asked as she stood up and looked right at Kayura. She had something up her sleve, and the smile on her face proved it.

"Ohhh....Shimata!" Lena kicked the air with a frown, "I hate it when I act on impulse!"
She snapped her fingers in the air before concentrating, transporting herself to where Tusuki, Kale and Sehkmet went.

Kayura shook her head. She sighed. "I don't know, to be honest with you. Can you take us back to the Ronins?"

Tusuki saw Lena arrive shortly after her. Tusuki was quiet for a moment, and then she spoke up. "You saved that girl. Why?"

Kanita nodded her heada s she placed a hand on Kayura's shoulder and took them back to the others. "Well at least we Dais. That must be good." She stated with a heavy sigh.

Lena looked up at Tusuki, her face an image of perplextion. She thought about it, then hung her head, her brown hair covering her eyes, "I know not....I acted on impulse....I apologize. IT seemed like such a waste to do so in such a manner....I felt that we should not destroy that girl...at least yet....."
She honestly didn't know, and her heart told her that over and over.

Tusuki felt the healing energy inherent to her new hideaway flow into her, even though she hadn't been injured. She wondered to herself if it healed fatigue as well as wounds. It would be quite something to go without sleep, she thought.
But then, Lena stood before her, apologetic. Even contrite. Tusuki slapped her across the face.
"Never again," Tusuki said. "Never again disrupt my plans like that or the consequences for you will be much more severe than this. Now that you have committed yourself to my cause, you must be committed. If not, I will have no further use for you. Is that understood, child of darkness?"

Lena nodded, silent. INwardly, she almost seethed. For some reason, she had more of a temper then she ever had in the past. In reality, she was sorry...and it showed through her being, she knew that. Why was she slapped in such a manner? Perhaps it was akin to how little kids felt, or even a response from not having had a mother who would slap you when things were wrong for a while now. Either way, she knew it was hardly deserved. Is that what I am? A child of darkness then? That doesn't seem right...but it is what things are now...so I suppose it is to be."
