The warrior looked around, Cziri was nowhere in sight. Well, at least he couldn't see him, his vision was much better under the water of his native swamps. The thick metal armor on his legs came in contact with the bottom edge of his shield, clanking in a loud echo across the field. His shield weighed about a quarter ton on its own, but he had no trouble hefting it. IN fact, it was much easier here, the gravity on Marinas IV was about four times the strength of Earth's, so the giant's power was already greatly multiplied.
He didn't quite know how he knew he had to fight cziri, it had come to him in a dream state, he had had a vision of the forthcoming battle. His giant sword tapped against the sand impatiently as he waited. The Behemian looked back and fourth, watching other, smaller people battle. He was surprised they hadn't noticed him yet, the ship had been rather loud. But he knew what it was like to be in a battle, in the trance that adrenaline seems to put one in.
So, Shyy'Sula, Zeus, the warrior of time looked on, waiting for his opponent.

((I'm assuming my other fight is over, considering that my opponent hasn't been seen in like, ever.))
Gamma looked up at the sound of a metal clash, from his place in the stands where he was sleeping. Still in full armor, he was always in the mood for a fight and since most of the people around here were more inclined to not fight him due to size, somehow, Gamma had a feeling that wouldn't be the case for this one. "Good lord, what did your mother feed you?" One could only guess where that comment was directed. Perhaps towards the armor clad, ten-foot fishmonster standing around in the arena. "Was that Criziri guy some kid who flushed you down the toilet when you were little?" Gamma added, his large metal jaws mimicking the movements of a human mouth. His low, nakedly human voice echoed errily by a computer synthesizing speech. Not one of tact, Gamma's voice could have probably been heard by anyone interested in listening.
Stepping up onto the seat, Gamma jumped several rows down onto the arena sands, making quite a crater in spite of himself. Several hundred pounds of power-assisted armor crushing anything beneath it, leaving Gamma standing his full seven feet vertical to face the big scaly behemoth.

Shyy'Sula looked down at the robotic thing speaking to him. He had no clue from whence he came, his concentration was elsewhere, and the thing didn't look from this time. He doubted that the humans he would meet 250 years from now had no technology of this level. It was what appeared to be a metallic human, and it was mocking him.
"The insults of a tin can mean little to me, small one." His voice was rumbling, like thunder, and it echoed oddly. He had a thick accent, and his "s" sounds were severely elongated.
He blinked, and raised his shield slightly, leaving his sword on the ground. This thing appeared to wish to fight, or so his stance suggested. The lone pearl on the hilt of his sword glowed blue, charging the creature's limited magic.

Several moments later, Omi skid in front of the entrance; using his feet and tracking them into the ground to keep him stationary, before taking some deep breaths. Inhaling, exhaling, left hand coming up to his forehead and flicking away some sweat. Finally, he began to recover; standing up slowly with a casual grin. "Ah, I suppose that was a screw-up on my part than. You win, ten bowls of ramen're on me next time."
He took a few steps over - breathing still heavy - and leant over, chuckling for a second. "You alright? Sorry if I pushed things a little heavily; guess I had some pent up energy to burn, neh?" The mercenary stood up tall, his breathing just shallowly past the point of normalcy now. If he'd trained himself in one thing, it was endurance. And as he gazed over at the entrance way - and his boots, which he quickly stepped over to put back on - one could see his normally wild hair just a tad more so strewn about, thanks to the wind having struck it so.

"Well, if that isn't an invitation."Gamma unlashed a hammer from his back. A warhammer with about four feet of handle and an oddly curved head, with a pair of struts supporting the tips down to the handle. Weird looking hammer, for sure, it's material black like the rest of Gamma. If anything the giant fish monster would be like a GUILTY unit from Gamma's home plane of existence, if only by size and, more than likely, strength. The Arc Hammer was made to deal with other suits of armor like Gamma's own, and would be a good tool against his current opponent. Hammers aside, Gamma still had his oversized sidearm on his left thigh and the two knives strapped into his armor, down his left shoulder. Breaking into a fully frontal charge, Gamma would raise the hammer for a strike. Only to juke a few steps before getting in reach, and jumping into the air, into a flying mule kick. Aiming for the shield, Gamma was throwing his entire half-metric ton of mass into the beast, feet first. With short legs like that, the thing was sure to be top heavy

Akako sighed and looked up at Omi. "That was good.. really good." Her breathing was starting to go back to normal and her black hair was framing her face. The hair she had pulled up was now down reaching her mid-black. "Don't worry about the ramen.. let me pay.. " Her eyes softened a bit and it was noticable that she was smiling beneath the cloth.
She turned and walked back into the hallway heading to the arena. "Maybe there is another fight going on that we can watch.. observing is always the best. You can learn new things and ..." She cut herself off not exactly knowing what the second reason was. Hmm...

Akako Shiko Akako sighed and looked up at Omi. "That was good.. really good." Her breathing was starting to go back to normal and her black hair was framing her face. She turned and walked back into the hallway heading to the arena. "Maybe there is another fight going on that we can watch.. observing is always the best. You can learn new things and ..." She cut herself off not exactly knowing what the second reason was. Hmm... Fastening his boots up finally, the mercenary stepped along after Akako - until he was beside her, breath balancing into normalcy. His eyes glanced ahead towards the resturaunt hopefully, as his stomach began to growl a tad. "Nah - I should pay. That was the condition of the race, after all - HONOR MUST BE OBLIGED!" His last words had a goofy, playful tone to them, as he laughed once.
However, to her comment of observing fights - Omi shook his head. "No, we don't want to watch anything around here at this time. Most fights we'd see here aren't to the death, or under strict conditions; we watch actual match-ups, and people are much more likely to brawl seriously.. and show their hands, so to speak."
"There's several branches to this tournament, if ya didn't already know - and while my own hasn't so much as started yet, I've been watching another one faithfully." A toothy grin added, "I've seen some.. interesting things, let's say."

Akako's sensitive ears heard his stomach and she made a quick turn into the resturant. "Well.. I'm not eatting alright? Green tea will do just fine." She leaned against the wall waiting for the hostess to greet them and take them to a table as Omi talked. She heard him mention something about fighting and she turned her head and looked at him. "What did you see Omi-chan?" She asked in all seriousness. Her eyes were dark now and very serious. Akako actually looked kind of scary. <~: Sorry for the lazy posts.. I all the sudden crashed.. I'm really tired all the sudden:~>

Jigen2.5 *Jigen countinued to observe oMi and his new friend* she seems intreasting...*Jigen, deciding he shouldn't eves drop decided to merely walk up instead* Omi! whats up man! He looked at akako* who's your new friend man? *He looked around* heh, never though I'd see you at one of these things.... Akako's crimson and gold eyes glanced over at the new man and her eyes were still emotionless from a moment ago. Most her face was concealed except her eyes and her stance was strange. She looked like she would tip over any second and slid down the wall, but she stood there starring. "Hn." She turned her head again then the hostess came up to meet them. "Three this time.." She said her voice cold. The woman nodded and showed them to the table. Akako sat down and leaned her head back. "Omi.. I don't want anything but green tea.. ok?"

Dun *he held out his clawed hand for a shake* Akako glanced at his hand and lifted a brow. "I'm Akako Akari.." She said still eyeing his hand a little annoyed. Her voice was somewhat muffled by the cloth that covered her mouth and nose, but her voice still held that cold tone to it. Ray of sunshine.. pft.. idiot She droned in her head. Something then started to glow beneath her top and she quickly placed her gloved hand over it. s**t...why now? Akako then stood. "Excuse me..." She bowed to Omi then glanced at Jigen and turned on her heel walking off.
Akako stepped outside of the resturant then pulled her hand away. The glow started to dim and Akako closed her eyes. "Come on... keep it under control Akako.." She said outloud to herself. She started to take deep breaths and the glow finally dissapeared. Drained way too much energy.. I hope she doesn't do this during the match.. Akako gritted her teeth then walked back in and sat down. Her eyes were almost black at this point and completely emotionless.

Slowly, the shadows in the general area began creeping toward a single spot. Once they all reached it, they formed a large orb out of the shadows, that rose in the air, before a brilliantly golden eye appeared in the area in front of the orb. The orb then launched forward and struck the eye, covering it, before slowly forming a figure. Long black robes formed and swayed in the wind, as well as a hood, covering an unseen head, the golden eye glowing out. The figure hacked and coughed horribly, before calming down and wheezing out his "breaths".

That, was when he noticed an old friend. Pausing and gazing over at the being, Omi's eyes widened slightly. "Jigen..? Hey there, same to you! Why the hell- oh, no matter, this is my frie-" However, the conversation between Akako and Jigen grew rather.. cold, were it. Which had Omi perplexed.
As they entered and sat down in the resturaunt once again, the mercenary heard Jigen comment on how Akako wasn't human - and gave him a short stare. "Dammit Jigen, that's unbecoming to say to someone you just met, ah?" However, that was when his own gaze became rather harder - watching Akako leave. Something was amiss, that much.. he could very well tell.
Leaning over the table a tad in her absence, Omi shrugged lightly. "I'm not sure. She's quite a nice person, actually - maybe something's bugging her?" Shrugging again, he leant back, watching Akako re-enter and sit down next to them. With a light bit of laughter, hoping to alleviate the mood set, he responded to his old friend's question with, "The same to you. Remember Shilon, Jigen? He's here too, odd enough. But yeah, you see.. I signed up for the tournament - Barton Branch, no less. I intend to nab two hundred and fifty six thousand gold, see."
Snickering once, he gestured over to Akako with quite a calm, merry expression - though his eyes suggested quite different - "Akako, are you feeling okay?"
