*sighs* I agree with you, Chels. And no, you're not a politician or anything like that. I think it's just that some people do not realize that when it is supposed to be a contest that ends on a specific date, that it needs to be finilized ON THAT DATE. Any voting after that does, in fact, discredit the contest and the winners.

Poor Chels! So set upon! *hands her a mug of chammomile tea*
I've been working on making my own essential oils. I have honeysuckle growing wild and then some in my yard and it was entirely too tempting when I found an article on how to do it. And then I was off in, let's identify native plants! land. Yea. lol. I've been very much in the atmosphere this week.

Both were SOOO good! I wish I had more of them..but that was all that was left at the store. crying The green apple was not a bit sour and the nectarine was soo yummy! biggrin Anyone watch the old re-runs of M.A.S.H? It is cool, and soo funny! Hawkeye and B.J are too funny! My grandma loves Klinger who dresses in women's clothes to try to get his 'section 8' so he can leave the army and go home. blaugh

Just a reminder, since people seem to have forgotten about these little things called moderators...
Here's a list of the guild crew and what they do/can do around here. All of the following were capable of accessing everything around here [with two not having access to the front page], that includes the contests, etc. I'm not saying it's their fault things went bad, because it's mine. My computer died, I didn't find a way back on. I didn't go pay money I didn't have to go buy computer time, so that I could get on gaia to take care of the guild. I realize it's all my fault the contest got screwed over, as a couple of you have made sure I knew, but you also need to know there are OTHER people that can do things here and that you can talk to about the guild!
Yue Halliwell - Guild founder. He's very busy with real life and doesn't really have time for the guild. Has access to everything.
Me - I have access to everything, too. I get stressed out running the guild, because everyone complains and no one does jack squat about it. I have a busy life, like Yue, but I make time each day to get here to run the guild to try to keep it from dying.
Feadraug - Guild account. All mods have access to her. A basic mod.
TanyaDawn - Newly re-made a mod. Has access to all basic mod features and the guild account. She's got school and a singing career. Also very busy, but makes time to take care of the guild.
Silver Mist - Works two jobs and goes to college. Very busy. Basic mod features and guild account. Also makes time for a bit of Gaia and the guild.
Now, before anyone complains I'm just posting this information here, let me head you off at the pass. The names of the guild moderators are located on the front page. Yes, that's right. They have been right down there at the bottom of the home page of the guild hiding from you in plain sight.

Before anyone suggests getting a mod who isn't busy....
Do you honestly think there are enough members for even the few mods we already have? No? I didn't think so.
For all the three of us mods are busy with life, we still make more time to come into the guild and work on the guild, than ALL of the current members combined. And that's just sad.
One last thing...due to the recent issues and behaviors, summer solstice party is cancelled. I'm not paying any more money I can't afford on this guild. [Yes, ladies and gents, that's right. Most of the guild funds for giveaways and such come out of my pocket. Both real money and gold. I can't afford it anymore really, or say, "Well...it's two days till payday...I can spare $5 to get another two letters to get them 20K..."] And, as that is the way this party would have been funded...it's cancelled.
Sorry to disappoint anyone who may actually remembered the summer solstice party was coming up next month.
