Genesis flipped her device around and showed him the current page, jotted down with notes and crude images that had clearly been made with the use of a finger rather than a pen. She beamed at him as she did so, but the smile quickly curled into a sort of grimace as she took tentative sniffs.
"Did you just come back from the cave?" she wondered, noting the distinct smell of Zubat poop that seemed to surround him.
Ajax mirrored his trainer's expression, but he didn't seem disgusted so much as blown back by the pungency of the smell. His nose was much more sensitive than Genesis', and he had yet to desensitize himself to it as Aaron likely would have. Still, Ajax maintained his composure, going so far as to c**k his head by way of inquiry. Whether he was asking about Aaron's state of health, progress in training, or even dietary preferences was unclear, but he was more communicative than he would have been to any other.

Remmy just walk and listen to everyone. He wasn't quite sure what was going on but he new it was bad. Very bad. It had to do with Pokemon and people messing with them. He knew that for sure. He just didn't know all the details yet.
Cara kept walking. She kept pondering over what cave the journal writer was talking about. It couldn't have been that Zubat infested cave...there was nothing useful in there, unless you think crazy, pimped out Zubat are useful. So far they knew that they were in the future, the Pokemon had been mutated, the person writing these journal notes had been looking for a cure but was also running from someone. At some point where the man was the Pokemon were in cages and wanted to kill the guy but that was definitely unlike Pokemon. Perhaps the mutagen had gotten out of control and completely rewritten the Pokemon's neuro-chemical synapses....or was causing some sort of Rabies like effect. If only Celebi had given them more clues.
Interacting with: Cai.. everyone "Or," Lex said dryly as they walked, Hollin snuggled on his shoulder. "All of this is because of something they ate that increased levels of aggression over time."
Michelle put Remy on her shoulders and quietly listened to the talking while following the group. Why would anyone experiment on pokemon? To what purpose?
Corbin shook his head. "No I should have been paying more attention. If I had I would have noticed you weren't there." He said looking at her device with the notes and images, "We certainly don't see circumstances like these too much. Yeah your notes are pretty good."
Noticing her reaction he tentatively sniffed and caught a whiff of the distinct smell that the cave had. "Ah yeah.... I did come back from the cave. Seems the smell just permeated into my clothes. Fortunately I didn't step on or fall on any of the droppings." He explained.
Aaron noticed Ajax's reaction and the cocked head. "What? Does it smell that bad still? I can't tell anymore.... the smell.... it's everywhere now." Aaron said actually being a bit talkative.
Cara sighed when she heard someone say that it could have been something they ate. "I doubt it was something they ate, there isn't much around here for them to eat. If there wasn't much for us to eat, how much would there be for a wild population of Pokemon? Also, for the Pokemon to be in cages, someone would have to have put them in them. Humans are definitely involved."

((Guh, sorry for being so MIA. Soooo busy finishing up this semester. crying ))
Laurence had no idea what was going on; all he knew was that this balloon trip was not going at all how he had expected. He kept Kili close; it would be all too easy to lose her to an aggressive pokemon. He just wished that they could all get back home safely.
Eros slipped gratefully into the shade of the parasol. He had no wish to stay in this awful sun any more than he was forced to.
The boy glanced around at the others. A few more journal scraps, like the one he still clung to, seemed to have been found, but they didn't seem to have spurred anyone to action. "I don't believe anyone knows quite what we're meant to do yet. I can only hope the downed airship yields more helpful clues. Or perhaps the Celebi might return?" He looked hopefully up at the sky.
"I do hope we can find some answers, not knowing is driving me crazy." Vana said with a soft sigh. "You don't think the others are right do you Eros? That our pokemon might change like the others?" She asked trying look at the adorable ball of fluffy feathers that was resting on her shoulder.
Keahi nuzzled her, he wasn't going to change.

OMG WHAT IS THAT? IN THE BUSHES! SHINY RATTATAAAAA. If you attempt to send your pokemon at it or try to catch it yourself, it hisses at you, and darts out of sight.

Vana continued to think about why the pokemon were going crazy, it seemed that the most likely explanation was that the feminist mind control rays had been designed to effect them in the future, it was terrible. And was that a shiny rattata? She tilled her head as looked at thing that was hiding in the bush. "Did you see that?" She asked Eros pointing at the bush.
