Beck nodded with a chuckle. -------------- A few hours had passed before arriving at his Castle. Beck quickly got off his horse and bounded up the steps before throwing open the door. "Hello? Tray? I'm back!" announced the King with a booming voice of happiness.

Len was pretty silent only talking here and their on the way to the castle. Once he followed the King into his kingdom and into the courtyard of his castle he was now curious on this women that Beck was so in love with he looked around the place seemed pretty empty for awhile. After a moment someone walked into the throne room, the man blinked at Beck. "King Beck..." he said in surprise, the servant walked over and bowed to him. "You've returned from your long trip how did it go?"

King Beck nodded and replied "The country Nibelheim was alright. I fought some people but other than that, Fine." His face grew dark at remembering the fight. "But we were attacked on the way back. Last night, actually." he said and sighed "Len and I were the only ones who survived."

The servant blinked at this. "I am sorry to hear that King Beck." he said with a slight sorrowful bow. After a moment he straightened up. "Do you wish to ease your burdens of the trip and rest? Or would you like something to eat?"

Beck blinked and gave it some thought. "Food would be nice, but that's second right now." He smiled as his next few words came out of his lips. "I'd like to see Tray. Where is she?"

"Lady Tray?" The servant repeated he bowed then. "She's been rather distraught since last night and has spent her time in the courtyard sparing with anyone who would try their luck."

Beck nodded with a smile and then walked towards the direction of the courtyard at a rather fast walk. The biggest smile on his face fading as he wondered as to why she was distraught.

The servant watched him then looked at Len as he followed the King. After that the servant went to get King Beck something to eat. Tray for now was out in the courtyard like the servant said, she had her sword at the ready and eyes closed. She swung behind her though as a lone opponent attempted to strike her from behind but she was able to deflect it easily. Opening her eyes she looked down at the worn out soldier and then helped him to his feet. "You must work on your breathing more, if your working on sneak attacks they wont work if you don't have steady controlled breathing."The opponent nodded. "I'll work on it my lady." Tray watched him then turned around and closed her eyes and took a stance. "Okay someone else come at me now."

Beck heard this and smiled, slowly looking around at his men and holding a finger up to his lips in a shushing motion. He then slowly walked up behind Tray, keeping his feet light and silent with a rather unsettling steady and quiet breath.

The men noticed Beck and blinking a lot of them widened their eyes and smiled at the sight of their king finally back from his long trip. They were all silent best they could at this point. Tray shifted her feet a little she felt a presence nearby but whoever it was, they were keeping both their movement and breathing silent and steady. She strained her ears more to concentrate. When she felt the presence near her. She twirled on the spot bringing her sword around.

Beck noticed her swift movements and ducked, feeling the blade cut the air above him. He then dashed and appeared behind her, putting his arms around her waist and holding her close as he said "Hello to you too beautiful."

When Tray felt her sword hit nothing she thought maybe she had no opponent at all and was simply now making a fool of herself. She opened her eyes to confirm it and looked around she noticed all the meen still in the line. A split second later she felt the arms around her and she blinked and suddenly held her breath. That hold, so familiar, then the voice and her eyes widened. "...Beck..."

The man smiled and nodded as he responded "Yup. Sorry I've taken so long, things in Nibelheim were a bit...longer than I expected." He then placed his head on her shoulder and asked "Are you okay? A servant said you weren't feeling well." His voice changed from the happy tone to one that held sadness. Because the prospect that the woman he cared for was unhappy, made him feel the same.

Tray blinked and then looked down at the ground, she made a glance towards the men then slowly turned around and pulled from Beck's arms, she looked from him to the men. "You are all dismissed." she waited until the last of the onlookers had left the courtyard then turned and faced Beck once more "Before I answer that, what happened on your trip?"

Beck blinked and frowned slightly as she pulled away. Once everyone left he looked at her then sighed. "You know...it was okay." He responded, looking to the side as he remembered the sight of the burnt soldiers that he had buried. "We were also attacked...an assassin. A hex user and I were the only ones who survived. Tyler and the others...did their best." Beck's eyes then looked at the ground and let out a small sigh.
