Devon agreed. "True. But not the most beautiful thing I have ever seen." he remarked, looking at her. He guided her up to their private box. "Come, the show will begin in a few minutes."

Lark looked at him with a smile not willing to protest that remark tonight so she silently followed him up into their box excited for the show to start their was stars in her eyes tonight as she sat next to him admiring everything around her

They were soon seated, Devon watching Lark as they waited for the show to start, answering her questions as best he could when she asked one.
So the curtains rose and the ballerinas enters, dancing to the music of Tchaikovsky. Their graceful movements telling the story of the Swan Lake.
To his surprise, Devon was just as take in as Lark was. He had seen it on TC once in awhile before flipping to sports. Yet there was something captivating about this ballet.
Or perhaps it was Lark's enthusiasm effecting him.

Lark did have a great deal of enthusiasm as the ballet started she found herself humming along with the music that played in Lark's artistic mind she not only saw the ballerinas' dancing but she also saw the story that was being told she was so engrossed with the story that she almost missed the call for a intermission after act II

Devon chuckled as he tapped her arm. "It's intermission." he whispered. "Come one. We have enough time to stretch our legs while the dancers catch there breath." he said, taking her hand again. "Want something to drink."

Lark grinned and pecked him on the check again. "Yes, I could use a soda." she replied walking with him even as she felt like she was walking on cloud nine. "Devon this is wonderful thank you so much. Your wonderful too you know." she remarked as she got her drink

Devon laughed. "I suppose I am. But you are worth all this." he said, kissing her forehead. "I'm actually surprise. I never knew that ballet could be... so ..." he shrugged, unsure of what word to use.

Lark laughed too finding it funny that he was at a lost for words. "Magical." She finished for him as she finished for him as she finished her drink in time to start heading back to their seats. "I agree I never thought so either, you picked a fantastic play."

Devon opened a bottle of water and paid for both. "Wasn't exactly the word I would have picked but it works." he remarked. "I understand why they need and intermission now. With all those leaps, I think they collapse if they didn't"
"Speaking of which, you want to head back?"

Lark giggled at his joke. "Devon they practice leaping a lot their bodies have become built for it like your built for being the perfect predator but yes they might faint if they do it to much." Lark informed him grinning. "Yea, I'm ready to head back." she told him

Devon rolled his eyes and took her arm, guiding her back up, they had a few more minuted to talk before the curtains pulled back and the show began again. The dramatic music started and the dancers again told the story of Odette and the Prince. And Von Rothbart evil scheme.

Lark giggled as he rolled his eyes at her statement it was fun to tease him she could see why Bo and Sheryl did it. As the III and IV act of the story progressed she again found herself drawn in by the magic of it all and by the end she was crying as The Prince and Odette perished for their love but she felt a bit better seeing that Von Rothbart drowned and she found herself smiling through her tears as the curse on the other swans was broken and they were freed. "Wow that was more beautiful than I imagined." Her happiness was taken to another height as she looked at Devon and knowing he had a similar reaction to the end like she in fact it was great to see that he had enjoyed it to. In a way it reflected their story but thankfully the didn't die in the end they won over the evil together and that made her heart swell with pride and love for her wolf.

Devon let out his breath as the ballet ended, not knowing he had been holding it in the first place. That was a lot better than he thought. He had definitely enjoyed that as much as Lark(to him surprise).
"Well. That definitely was new." he said. Not all that eloquent. "I'll have to take you again sometime." He stood and helped her too her feet.. "Are you ready for a late dinner?"

"Of course, love." Lark replied taking his hand smiling at him not in the least be bit tired or weak for the first time in awhile. "I decided where I want to go, I want to go to the Asian buffet that just opened last week, can we please." She asked hanging on her arm smiling like the angel/princess she was not even aware what her innocence and beauty does to his head.

Devon looked down at her. She looked so eager that there was no way he could say no even if he wanted too. He was definitely completely around her finger.
"Sounds perfect. we'll eat all the Asian food we want." he joked. Though buffets were good. His large appetite did get expensive sometimes.
