Alright, this is why the battle's a mess, people are forgetting to target their opponents. If you wish to fight someone, these are the steps you should follow:
Aggressive style vs. Aggressive style = roll D6 to see who goes first
Aggressive vs Balanced = Aggressive goes first
Aggressive vs Defensive = Aggressive goes first
Balanced vs Balanced = roll D6 to see who goes first
Balanced vs Defensive = Balanced attacks first
Defensive vs Defensive = stand there and look silly (roll D6. The person with the higher roll switches to balanced style for that fight only)
If you do not specifically target someone (some of you have made rolls without actually attacking anyone in particular), your attack will not do any damage at all.
If you can't go first because of the reasons listed above, you must quote your opponent, calling them out to let them make the first move.

scuttlefish Raven Rahl scuttlefish Raven Rahl (Ugh, I've been so busy today, it's been hard to get anything done online haha) I do see where some of the confusion has come now that I've been able to read the RP and get caught up. From what I've gathered for me, personally, I was fighting Ka'all and Elyria and for some strange reason Skandankerous (I know I misspelled that, sorry) attacked me and is about to get his a** handed to him (sorry again, but if you hit me, I get to hit back lol). Locolvictum has jumped in and is fighting Elyria (maybe?) which means I'm free to focus on Ka'all. What this means is that Ka'all vs me and Elyria vs me are 2 separate ongoing HPs. Elyria vs Vic is a separate HP as well. You're out of the fight when you reach 0 HP no matter who gets you there. If I turn around and slap Seherak for 100 HP in one hit, he's out of the battle (are you rethinking attacking me now? xd ). If I get Ka'all down to say 5 HP and he runs away and gets in a fight with someone else, he starts the fight with them at 250 HP because it's a completely different fight. If he comes back to me, then he'll be at the 5 he had when he left me. I really hope this clears things up because now you guys are beginning to confuse me. sweatdrop I was under the impression that I was going to fight Skandar, but then he started attacking you and now I'm confused. Whose side is he on again? Hey, I'm just as confused as you are on that one. rofl I couldn't believe he attacked me knowing I can kill him in one swing. If you want him, he's all yours (if he survives my counter-attack) twisted But doesn't he have to choose a fighting style before his attack is even valid? Or since he already made the attack, is he to be treated as a tyro? He's a Tyro until he picks a style.

Since scuttlefish (Zara) wants a rematch with you and I could quite literally squash you in one hit, I'm going to be nice and ignore the little 20 HP damage you did to me. twisted Now please, pick a fighting style or else you're going to be fighting as a tyro.

If my opponents will please be patient, I will get a post up tonight. I was very busy today and I spent all of my online time playing referee. Please understand that's not a dig at the people who asked questions or were unclear on some of the rules, I'm always happy to answer questions. It's just that this is the first time we've had a battle quite like this where it's basically a free-for-all and I want to make sure everyone's being treated fairly and following the rules (even if we have to sometimes make adjustments to the rules to make it work).

I'm so glad we're online so you can't hit me wink LOL but didn't we eliminate the rule where a certain style has to attack first (e.g. aggro)- I thought it hindered the flow...defensive of course has to wait - that's the style...

Yeah, I was a bit thrown off (no pun intended) because being flung halfway across the battlefield probably would have killed her, remember she's a tiny little thing haha. But even though I went with it this time, Seherak I'd prefer it if you'd post your action as an attempt rather than making it seem like it landed, to at least give me a chance to react to it.

One attack die per post and then you have to allow your opponent to react. If they do not react within 24 hours of your post, then you may attack again.
