It kinda bothers me that the absolutely best Warhammer 40k video game I`ve ever played was not a retail title, but an arcade download. Another thing that bothers me bout that sitch: every 40k video game has you play as a Space Marine. (at least from what I`ve seen). Just once, I`d like to have to option to play as a Daemon of Chaos... maybe an Eldar or Dark Eldar. Or better yet, a Necron. Hell, I`d be happy with using Tau! /endsoapbox

Kill Team is just a damn well made game, but then again I'm saying that as a huge fan of twin stick shooters. In my humble opinion, twin stick shooters and dungeon crawlers are the absolute best multiplayer experiences ever.
Personally, Orks have always been my favorite faction just because of the sheer silliness of their mechanics. I love their Wile E. Coyote brand of technology.
Never actually played a minis Warhammer game(too damn expensive to keep up, and that's money I'm already throwing out the window towards comic books), but I like to read the lore and watch my friends play.

In this one you play as a Tau Warrior, so here is one that isn't Space Marine. I never played it myself nor any of the other 40k inspired games but I had friends who really enjoyed Fire Warrior.. Or the mini's game as you said to expensive.

You know... I do remember seeing that game but completely overlooking it because it featured Tau. But I think the reason they featured that army is because the Tau are the newest addition to the 40k armies. As for the tabletop game... you`re darn tootin` its expensive. For the army I use (Necrons), its going to cost me close to 400 bucks to get my army to where I want it to be and have all the unit options at my disposal. Thats not even factoring in costs for supplies which I can only imagine will be close to another 100 bucks. Oy!

I considered rolling a Grey Knight unit but costs were not worth it. Love the story, and the RTS games are great.

Re-Cap:
Mystique planted a bomb in the mall, and took off once it was armed. She ended up getting into a spat with Wolverine. In the meantime, the rest of the Brotherhood on the Alpha side either got the crap kicked out of them, or ran like sissies. Sabertooth nearly killed Christian for funzies...Aurelie gave herself a brain hemorrhage trying to contain the bomb so it didn't hurt anyone. Gateway appeared when Team Alpha needed him most to chauffeur their spoiled butts back to the Academy before the police arrived... Or worse things happened.
Emma has since discovered that though Aurelie stopped the bomb, it was linked to something underneath the mall that caused the students to have trace amounts of radiation on them... Since then, she ordered they all go back to the Infirmary to make sure they're in the clear.
After that, they are permitted to go to the upper levels, if they so choose.
The Omega's aren't back yet... Magneto is giving a 'Join me or Die' speech...They traded Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witches freedom for the lives of Senator Kelly and his cabinet... Told Mag where to shove it-- Getting ready to go home.
Fair warning, Arch change will be very soon.

So, looking through several articles and forums online, why am I apparently the only one that thinks the boss fights in Deus Ex: Human Revolution were too easy?
I died once against Barret, and that's because I didn't see the second grenade he throws to try and flush you out of cover. That was the extent of the difficulty I had with the bosses in this game.
I won't deny they were completely out of place in this game, however.

Thank you very much!
I'm looking forward to the arc change. I think that's when I'll be able to jump in! I got X-Men: First Class on DVD a few days ago. Watched it for the first time because I didn't get to see it in theaters (was still living in Australia at the time, woo!) and now I'm eager to get to RP'ing all over again, lol.
