He easily decided that the novice test would be the same, for the most part. "Go to moonlight peak and destroy five skeleton warriors." when he saw Dani come back from the crypt, leaving a trail of mud behind her, he merely glared at her. His cyan eyes as cold as ever. He pointed at something in the corner, and one would think it was going to be a mop. Instead, it a an empty bucket and a scrubber. "Clean it. This is my building, and you just made a huge mess because you were too incompetent in your mission."

Voracious ever-green fractionally slitted, just as his icy gaze intended to bury her under the snow. For a second she stood steadfast, incompetent!INCOMPETENT?! He must be the King of Assholes because he was doing a grand job at being one. Her eye deflect from his unwavering vision to that of the muddy floor. Dani sighed, and bent down and unlaced her boots. She stepped out of them and scooped them up, careful not to get any dirt clods all over his pompous flooring as she made her way over to a deep sink basin. In they would sit while she went to the corner for the bucket and scrub brush. When she returned to the sink, she figured it was better to clean herself off first than to continue spreading muck.
Her hands and arms cooled under the tepid liquid, cleaning it with each turn and twist. The leather pants were pretty easy since she had removed her tank top and used it to wipe off all of the mud. She even used it to clean the bit off the floor that fell. Then she hunched over the spout, letting the water wash away anything her boots, but her tunic was another matter. No matter how many times she wrung and re-soaked, it remained that of off-white. Dani did the best she could, her broken blisters burning on each palm after wringing the cotton to a dampened state. Once her boots were on, the bucket was filled up with hot, soapy water and the brush floated on top of the suds.
Over to the splatter of sludge, the bucket at the edge of it. She sunk to hands and knees, plucking the thick bristled brush from its soapy well. Over and over, this scene repeated, her messy locks curtaining a blank face. The necrmancer's mind went numb, nothing surfaced- no dead, or living, not even Alistair. It was a zombie-like state of just doing what she was told, perhaps out of her own debility. Dani cleaned all the way to the doors and then used the water to splash on the remaining outside. All of it was slow slur of mindlessness, cleaning off the instruments and then replacing them to their rightful position.
After that, she didn't wait for his instruction. She found a hammer and walked right out the doors with it. When she walked back in, her arms were draped in the jacket she wore preciously. It was beneath the fabric confines that held importance. Tenderly it was revealed, perhaps she loved the dead more than the living- but it was all she had ever known. People never treated her kind with compassion, only fear and idiocy of the unknown. As she walked back out to get the next, she sheathed her arms in the pitch skin, zipping it up to make herself somewhat presentable.
One-by-one the lids were unhinged, and the remains were placed inside and displayed in a line. One after the other, she was extremely careful, ironic since she would be desecrating their earthly bodies soon. That didn't mean she needed to be sloppy with them, regardless of their state of being.
The hammer returned to its proper place and she walked back to the corpses. Hunger was the one thing that gripped her, gnawing its ugly teeth at her insides. It would have to wait though. "...Alistair,.." her focus returned to the cerulean seas. She liked his eyes, that was the extent of her fascination. "Am I to raise the corporeal undead or do you wish for me to make them into one entity?" Dani had only done this with animals, this would be her first humanoid experimentation and she did not take it lightly.

He simply stood there, watching to make sure the necromancer did her job well. To him, if you made a mess, be prepared to clean it up. Did she really think she could stomp her way into the CAZ and leave a trail of mud from the Crypt behind her. But, at least she made it look better than when she came in. "After training, you may put together a minion of your own, but for now, you are just going to reanimate their corpse, or just a limb. For now, let's start with Undead Limb, then move on to Undead Minion, Unholy Frenzy, Stasis, Undead Mantra, finally ending with Skeletal Shield." It was easy to remember Marishka using all of these skills on her enemies, each time he looked at the skills, they reminded him of her. After pausing for a few seconds, he waved her off to practice the skills. Meanwhile, he moved to the the rest room, locking the door behind him. His memory of his former mistress haunted him even to this day. After pushing up the small lever to turn on the faucet, he cupped his hands together and allowed water to fill his hands before splashing it up into his face. He looked up into the mirror, looking directly into the light blue eyes in the mirror.

Dani understood, acknowledging so with a nod. She inspected the corpses, deciding to start right to left. The necromancer strolled over to the chosen one, kneeling to touch its leathery bones as Alistair made his way over to the next room. She loved the feel of smooth hide, the wrinkles had flattened over time. Dani smiled, it was sweet but sad, like that of cherishing a grandparent. Like a bitter pill that's lost its taste, I'll take the whole thing anyway.
"Forgive me."
Hovering tendrils lingered a few inches above the undead limb. Sparks ignited the tips of her fingers, they were reminiscent of midnight blue skies and continued to mold around her whole hand. Just as it started, the fires were smothered, gone in a blink. Dani stood, as her hand moved upward, so did its puppet. She made motions like fingers on piano keys and the extremity mimicked. Eventually it broke free at the joint and crawled on the floor. Asking Alistair if he needed a hand didn't look like a good idea at the moment. A bad joke. [Undead Limb 1/1]
Though, she stepped back further, her hands drawing up, calling upon the unholy vessel to stir. Her Necromantic magica binds the bones in place of sinew and muscle, allowing the vessel to be infused with a spirit. [1/3] First its leg twitched, she continued to press, focusing wholeheartedly. Her eyes were shut to the world, channeling with the hollow places she harbored deep within the labyrinth of a mind. Everyone had their secrets, the places they went to for safety inside themselves. Hers just happened to be a void, the one that wakes you from a nightmare just before you fall to your death. [2/3] Flashes of her mothers face startled her, that gaping jaw releasing terror...it was always there, burning into her soul. Dani had gasped, causing the undead to rise and its arm was still creeping around her feet. The being stood there, she was unsure it it worked fully and moved to it,; a master reviewing a servant. "Nunc moveant," she commanded and it answered, stepping towards her. [3/3] "Convertimini" An index moved as did the being, turning in a circle. The appendage scurried over to her, it kinda reminded her of a dog needing attention. "Non ambulantes supra," it did as it was told, walking off clockwork-like. Dani reached down and grabbed the ulna. Its phalanges wiggled with delight. [Undead Minion 1/1]
Dani had almost forgotten Alistair, she looked around noticing that it was only her still. Idle chit chat was never her thing, "Look, uh...I'm...sorry about the mud!" She exclaimed through the door, her minion was walking in circles casually. She didn't add anything to the apology, letting it drop off but she wanted him to know just the same. "What was next? Frenzy?" Did he want her to raise them all? Or just two or three? And who were they going to Frenzy? Him? After all, they'd ruin the dummies and she, in no way, could afford to replace them.

It only took a short amount of time for the necromancer to come bothering him again. He had given her such a long list of skills to master for a reason. It was because he needed a break from this teaching job. After being here for so long, he had begun to grow accustomed to incompetence, thinking it was okay to be weak and incapable of doing the simplest of tasks. He paused for a few seconds before he answered her, stepping out of the rest room and into the training room. "Don't stop, keep moving on until you finish. If you want to try and send them at me, I have no objection, though good luck trying to hit me."

Silence
Seconds felt like eons, and she thought that perhaps he had fallen asleep.
Click
Dani almost screamed when the door unlocked, she jumped back and covered the glossy vessels. When he walked out, she moved aside quickly, not allowing herself to get close to him. He smelled of familiarity, frustration, and a heady musk. Hurriedly she walked across the planked flooring, boots thudding in stride. "O-Righty then." Who was she to question him? She commanded the first undead to halt, it did so without rebuke. Standing behind the others, inhaling deeply with closed eyes , she focused.[Undead Mantra] It was when they both opened that the flood gates were released. Negative vitality restored the semblance of life to the dead husks of flesh and bone, the necromancer didn't walk the line between life and death so much as caressed and manipulated it. Her eyes widened, the right, blind ocular of pure white began to give off an afterglow of rufescent as the other remained its humanly green. Her skin began to crawl, goosebumps rising on her forearms. "Consurget servos meos," the remaining four sat straight up as if given a fright, they rose higher still to their feet and stood in a line. Dani tilted her head, gazing beyond the minions to Alistair's cold tides. Thou shall not fear. She removed her stare and turned it to the lone skeleton, it returned to the line up. [Undead Minion 5/5]
With a twirl of her index finger, their turn synchronized. Of course they were unarmed, but she quickly fixed that. Each one was give a dull sword and she returned to her position behind of them. When he looked ready, her word was given.
"Oppugnate!"
The first and last advanced forward, converging and was followed by a second wave containing undead number two and four. Only the remaining, lucky number three, waited behind. Their swords were raised, ready and eager as they assaulted. She; however, watched his movements, assessing them. [Unholy Frenzy]

Alistair patiently waited for the minions to charge. He knew the weakness behind the skill after the years he spent with Marishka. The minions all attacked in an angry state, they simply slashed without tactic. After taking a single step forward, Alistair suddenly vanished from the spot he was in. The next thing Dani would see was her first minion being stricken down with a single slash. The image of Alistair crouching in front of it soon faded, revealing that he had left a mirror image. The same went for the second one, and the other two that charged at him. Their bones and rotted flesh merely fell to the floor, once again lifeless. He then reappeared in a crouching position at the exact same location that he had started from. Alistair looked up at the girl, who was several feet away with one last minion left. "Your concentration was weak. But I suppose it would do for the time being. You'll notice as you grow in strength, so will your minions. Continue training." He stood up and sheathed his kodachi in which he used to cut the minions down.

He'd fizzle into vision and then vanish, an illusion of sorts or perhaps he just moved that fast. He is always so....mean. He never really said anything nice. Like 'Oh, Dani, you are doing a good job but..' it was always, 'you, s**t for brains, suck! Look at my manly, suave, skills'. It wasn't exactly encouraging. At least he was taking the time to help her, he had that going for him.
She nodded though as he stood in place again, sheathing his sword do-hicky.
"Scuto!" All the bones he scattered began to hum, twitching a dozens went rushing towards her outstretched arm. They morphed and molded to it, stacking and combining to form a shield. She could smell the death on them, her cheeks flushing. [Skeletal Shield 1/1] Her right hand waved the last forward, and as it pushed she took off, sliding in behind of it like a batter going in for home base. The shield was raised, that fist gripping a rib bone. It was better to test the hardness of it now than in the field and be absolutely s**t out of luck. [Unholy Frenzy]

As Dani continued, Alistair sighed. Perhaps it was his fault for allowing her to practice on him, but he had to follow through with it. The girl was moving fast with her training, but he wouldm't praise her. What good does appraisal do? It filled someone's head with cockiness and pride, almost always getting you killed. No. He'd deprive his students of it for their sake. He couldn't have his very first few students die within the first few weeks of their training. He believed that the strong survived, but everyone had to be molded first. Perhaps, in a way, he didn't mind helping Dani outwith her training. It was then that he just realize he began referring to the girl by her actual name. No. She was simply 'the necromancer'. He was reminded of that fact as she called forth all of the bones that belonged to her fallen minions and formed a large skeletal shield infront of her last minion before sending it on a frenzy. With the shield blocking his view of the skeleton behind it. He had a svery simple solution to it. His arm began to transform into that of a werewolf's, increasing in strength as well as the curse binding his body was activated. When the shield came close, his arm shot forward, easily breaking through both the shield of bones and the minion and grabbed the arm of the necromancer that hid behind it. With a sudden yank of his arm, her body crashed through the barrier of bones. He kept her there, lifted from the ground by her arm. "Don't charge into battle use your minions to surround your opponent first and then surprise him fron his blind spot. " he let go of the necromancer, allowing her to fall to the ground.

Talons drove through bone and snatched her arm, she was suspended by him. Dani knew she could channel the negative energy to him just by his grip on her; however, she didn't, he was too close. I wish your body was not so warm to me. Panic. Adrenaline coursing, and yet, no inhale quaked her chest as it was caught in her throat, choking. "I know! I wanted to...OOMPH~" On a bed of worn bones, she lay, the crimson mane splaying out in unruly waves. "I was just testing it! I'm not a fool!" Her temper was just as fiery as her hair. He really was an a** sometimes. Don't look at his eyes. Gradually she stirred, pushing through the pain of each bodily ache, and dusted herself off. This was worse than a game of 52-pick up! Her back was to him, her hands methodically arraying them in winds of osseous matter. Each one of the corpses, from head to toe, was combined again. It steeled her internal aggravation, organizing the bony frameworks perfectly. She had certainly studied them enough over the years. [Undead Minion 5/5]
She inspected them each thoroughly, being sure of correct placement and belonging. "May I ask, what are you? If I'm intruding, forgive me, Alistair." His aroma was sickly sweet, and she knew it but couldn't place it. It sat on the tip of her tongue, rattling her brain for awhile now. A steady hand eased across the air, blanketing the undead beings in an arcane stability. [Stasis] The dark augury crept in to the very marrow and kept them from aging anymore than already so. In a sense, it was immortality. It could probably keep the fresher corpses preserved in a youthful glamour, or course they would still look dead. Or maybe she could sew them together and form a golem. That would probably need quite a bit of preparation but the mental note was made.
After her concentration could ease, she settled back to her trainer.

When she inquired about his what he was, it surprised him. It had even taken the normally cold glare from his face for a brief moment, though it was quickly replaced with another cold look. Alistair hadn't considered that his students might be wondering exactly what he was. He merely thought that as long as they were taught, it didn't matter who taught them. But there was no harm in telling anyone, especially a soldier from his own nation. "I am a hybrid of two species. Vampire and Werewolf, the blood of both run through my veins. It is the reason that I do not crave blood like other vampires do, and it is the reason my eyes are how they are right now." Even as he spoke about them, his cerulean eyes looked down at the necromancer with curiosity. Why did she care about what he was? He even noticed that she began to avoid looking into his eyes. "Why are you avoiding my gaze? I can assure you that harm will not come from looking at them, it is merely a sign of respect."

"What were you born as? Or was each parent the other species?" Dani had always wondered what her father was like, why he left her and her mother, and much more but in the end, his departure might have saved his very life, or soul at least.
"Eyes are the window to the soul, from what I have been told," she gazed upward from under the curtain of jet lashes. "You ever have those dreams when you are naked in a public place, and you feel utterly embarrassed and exposed? It is like that. And sometimes it is like a whole nother world in them, one that I have never known. I don't know whether to feel violated or intrigued. I'm sorry. I have spent very little time with other....people." Idly a finger toyed with the end of a scarlet lock, twisting it repeatedly. Dani smiled at him, "Here I was wondering why you smelled weird," she frowned quickly. "I mean, not in a bad way...it is unique, kinda sweet smelling." Yeah, just pour your guts out Dani. Brilliant. "Uh," Her eye widened, the rosy pallor crowned her cheeks. "..I'm sorry..I don't know what I meant by all that. I'm just rambling...." ShutupshutupSHUTUP! She turned, quite embarrassed by her own words and human nature.

Revealing what he had was enough, in his opinion. The rest was something that he'd only tell a close friend. The necromancer was just his student. "Try asking me again later. This chatter is inappropriate for our student/teacher relationship." Had she really been afraid that if she were to look into his eyes that the two would be able to see each other's souls? It was an ancient belief, one that he didn't believe in. Most likely started by the Vampire's ability, The Allure of Tragedy. He was aware of his odd scent, though he had no idea that humans could smell him. Apparently, he now sported a 'sickly sweet' natural aroma. Despite the necromancer's best attempts, things soon became awkward. "Just get back to training, Dani. Once you finish, I will no longer be your teacher, and perhaps I will tell you of my origins."

"I apologize," nodding in concurrence to her own words and his. He did, however, call her by name. "I understand, Alistair." Dani returned to her minions, arming each again with weapons. This time a pair battled one another as she concentrated on their movements; the sweep of a sword to an opposite shoulder, clashing bone-to-bone. I was made for this. Again, the undead soldiers battled, one popping another's head clean off and it completely fell apart in one crashing thud. The necromancer reassembled the poor thing again, making a different set spar. Their movements weren't exactly graceful but she was getting better at guiding them, fancy sword play can come later. For now it as just the basics, she said nothing more.
Soon though, she would require rest to restore her depleting energy. Also food cause it was not the undead making groaning noises, it was her rumbling abdomen.
