"Finite!" Ghaleon said as fast as he could the second Neomi looked ill, he had no intention of letting this go on. "You alright Neomi?" He asked her, knowing how bad the spell made a person feel.

Neomi stood up feeling better. "Thanks Ghaleon." She hadn't felt that bad since she had a major bug a few years ago. "I don't like this spell. Though it would be interesting to use on mean people..."

Liviana714  Liviana quietly entered the classroom. The robes she wore were wrinkled and hung strangely on her thin frame. Her strawberry blonde curls had grown longer, and her blue eyes seemed less brighter. Looking up at Professor Reynolds with an exhausted face, she said in a flat tone. "So sorry to have disappeared sir." (I apologize for my absence. I can't promise not be be on often from here out either. My student teaching is very time consuming. Do you want me to make up all the assignments? redface )

A voice that Kenneth had not heard in quite some time filled his ears. When he turned around he saw that it was none other than Liviana. He noticed that she looked rather disheveled and quite exhausted. "Oh hello Liv its quite alright, its good to have you back. I hope everything is alright now. I er don't even remember why you had to disappear in the first place."

And I quite understand school taking over all your time, and here I was complaining that I had to write a 7 page paper, and you have a 30 page one to do. Girl I feel for you I really do, that is one massive paper. Best of luck with that. ]]

liveXdarkheartXevil "Oh okay." Heart takes out her wand. Pointing it at Sabrina, she casts "Mucus ad Nauseam!" Ravenclaw, second year... ::Stumbling backwards a bit, Sabrina suddenly felt herself go into a huge coughing fit.::I think *cough* that you *cough* got the spell *coughcoughhackwheeze* right.::Sabrina began sniffling rather uncontrollably, and was working very hard at not breaking out into a rampage of sneezes.::Can you *sniff* turn it off *sniff* now please? *sneeze* I'm developing a rather nasty headache....Where those of wit and learning will always find their kind.

Meiko turned her head to the direction where she heard a familiar voice. Meiko smiled blissfully as she saw Liviana, her fellow house mate. She waved her hand to catch her attention. "Long time no see, Liviana~ How're ya?"

"heh.. I know what you mean." Ghaleon said to Neomi as he went to go sit down. While he never wanted to have that spell used on him again he had a good idea on who he'd like to be able to use it on. "Well at least we can relax till the class is over with now." He said to Neomi.

If Liviana was relieved at not having to make up the mountain of assignments overdue, her wan face did not show it. She stared blankly at her instructor and suddenly the air around them seemed pregnant with tension.
Livana still hesitated, grasping for the words to tell her story. 'Well, what is there to tell?' asked the vicious voice in the back of her head.
'You were asked to come home because your parents finally wanted to discuss some family matters with you. When you arrived, the visit became a mixture of harsh words and lies. They forced you to stay home, trying to break you of your wizard's blood and kept you confined in your room. Yes, some good quality family time!' The voice snickered.
Liviana gave an unknown shudder. 'And then you spent two months trying to escape. One day when they were gone shopping, you were able to pull the door knob off the your bedroom door and search the house for your wand. You had some floo powder left among your possessions from your probably cheating boyfriend. You used that to escape back to Hogwarts, but not before being seen disappearing into a flash of green fire by some muggles walking past the house. Your always knew you hated the fireplace in the living room for some reason.'
Angrily, Liviana grasped a crumpled piece of parchment in her pocket; a letter from one, Mafalda Hopkirk. Liviana was in trouble with the Ministry of Magic for practicing magic underage.
"I had a family emergency, Professor," Liviana said quietly. She gave a half-wave to her old friend Meiko, and took her seat. (Thanks! Yeah...the problem with that paper is I have plenty to talk about, but the max limit is 30, and I'm nearing that, but am nowhere close to finishing! I need to use less words! sweatdrop I hope your paper is treating you kindly!)

Kenneth sense that there might be more to Liv's story but he didn't want to pry too much. "All right Liv well when your ready, you can start on today's assignment."

At this point I'm sick of writing papers, I didn't sign up to become an Accountant to write papers that have nothing to do with accounting. So I'm just hoping that my paper is good enough to get a 'C' that's all I need to get to pass that one credit hour class. ]]

When Liviana acknowledged her greeting, Meiko hurriedly sat back to her seat, with Liviana in front of her. She quickly spoke loudly for the professor to hear her voice. "Professor, what are we going to do today?"

"Mekio the 5th, 6th, and 7th years are practicing the use of a vanishing cabinet. The incantation to transport yourself between cabinets is written on the board [page 1]. When ever your ready just step into the cabinet on the left, cast the spell, and then emerge from the right cabinet."

Gratful the good Professor had kindly dropped the subject, Liviana fumbled in her worn bag and minutes later produced two objects: a quill missing parts of its feather fibers, and her wand, which seemed to be glowering from months of no use.
Liviana plodded to the front of the classroom and her vacant eyes sized up the pair of vanishing cabinets. They were made of a very dark-colored wood, and had ornate silver inlaid on its door and sides. Cautiously, the Ravenclaw opened the door to the first box and set the old quill inside, then closed the door. She then tapped the wooden frame with her dusty wand, uttering, "Harmonis Necesitabus Portus".
Liviana opened the preliminary door once again, only to find her quill ablaze. Gasping, she pointed her wand at the burning writing utensil and shrieked, "Aguamenti!"
A stream of water burst forth from the wand's tip, and doused the now charred quill. However, the flame-quenching liquid continued to stream out of the slighted wand.
"Finite Incantatum! Finite Incantatum! No!" called the wand's despondent owner, until it decided it had punished its master's months of abandonment enough.
A drenched Liviana stood awkwardly staring at the cinders and burn marks on the wounded cabinet and the large puddle of water that had attempted to flood the classroom. (Ooh, classes like that are so annoying! Lately though I've had profs who don't take the time to read the papers they assign anyway...I turned in ten pages of crap last year and got a 90 on it. I don't know if I should be pleased or upset!)

While Kenneth was addressing Mekio he hadn't seen Liviana attempt at using the vanishing cabinet. All he heard was a loud shouting. He quickly turned around to see Liv trying to put something that had caught fire out. He began to rush over pulling out his own wand, when she finally got the fire under control. However that soon turned into another problem as he wand blasted water everywhere. "Liv are you alright?" he asked once he arrived at her side. He used his wand to vanish the water puddling on the floor, as well as fix the cabinet and dry Liv's drenched cloths.
[[ Wow too bad I didn't have Professor's like that, at least in the class's that require papers. Maybe I'll get lucky and my teach will have so many papers that she doesn't get to harsh in the grading. ]]

In an exasperated voice, Liviana said, "I'm fine now, Professor Reynolds." Realizing she was no longer sopping wet, she added, "But thank you for your help."
Liviana was mortified with the way her day was going. First the owl she sent to Alden, then her worthless ingredients in Potions, now this fiasco. Turning her wand over in her hand, she thought bluntly, 'I'm going to name you Judas Iscariot.'
Liviana stared long and hard at the vanishing cabinets. Her cheeks were a violent crimson, a stark contrast to her previously ghost-white pallor. Gripping Judas the Wand tightly in her hand, she thought about what when wrong with her spell. (Hey, maybe she could pawn them off on a grad student too! That is always a grade inflater! )
