 Niji Han "I'm here..." Niji mumbled from behind them, a bit of black smoke fading off of her arm as the last of her ninja clothing faded back to her kimono. "sorry i'm late... Nii-san was being all fussy again..." she mumbled, tucking some hair behind one ear. {translation:}

He sighed and nodded, reaching down to ruffle her hair. "Take Daniel, but be very, very careful. Fredrich, wake him a little so we can say goodbye."
"Actually, they find me," he answered, shrugging. "Apparently, I'm attractive enough that men just seek me out, and want to come home with me. It's pretty easy. What about you?"

Against us you'll never win... The detective leaned down and gently tapped the boy's cheek. "Wake up, Daniel."
"Sometimes it's by flirting, sometimes it's a police escort." Cameron shrugged, although he remembered meeting Liam through casual flirting. "Really, it's pure coincidence. Does this mean you're going to go hook you a man already?" ...so you'd better run.

The boy grumbled, but woke up nonetheless. "D-Daddy? Wh-what is it?" he asked, rubbing his eyes.
Ellery came closer, kissing the child's forehead. "Honey, you're going to Korea with Niji now."
"Al-already?" Daniel sighed and bowed his head, snuggling his father's shoulder. "O-okay..."
"Daniel, can I have a hug?"
The little boy nodded, then reached out for Ellery, who took him in his arms and held him tightly. "I love you Mama. Take care of Daddy, okay?"
"I... I love you too, Daniel." The songwriter nodded, leaning back his head to kiss the little kid's cheek. "I promise."
Daniel looked up to Fredrich. "A-and Daddy? Keep Mama out of trouble, okay?"
"Not yet. I kind of want to see how you work first," said Liam, shoving his hands into his pockets and walking out to the door. "Come on, let's go somewhere less sick."

Against us you'll never win... Fredrich leaned down and gently kissed the child's cheek. "I'll protect him, don't you worry." he promised while looking into Daniel's eyes. "Stay safe. The Wilhelms will protect you, so be courteous to them." He gave the boy a tender smile. "Goodbye, Daniel. I love you."

The little boy set his hand on Fredrich's cheek, smiling. "I love you too, Daddy." He nodded to Ellery, who set him down beside Niji. The child looked up at them, big eyes sad. "I'll see you soon, okay?"
"Okay, sweetie," he replied, taking Fredrich's arm to steady himself as tears filled his eyes.
"Bye bye..."

Ellery held on to Fredrich, watching them walk away. "I... I don't want him to go," he murmured, closing his eyes so he wouldn't see Daniel go. "I miss him already. Is... is this being a mother?"
