Van's smile grew a bit. "So would I. The last thing I want is to be calling an eighty year old woman my girlfriend. There's so many horrible implications that go along with that, I'd rather not think about it." he said half-jokingly.

"But hey, at least I'd be one sexy old lady." Mala laughed, ignoring what could be implicated from Van's comment - for her own pride's sake. "I'm almost thirty and I barely look twenty. Father time has been most kind to me." she said quite proudly.

Angel was silent a bit, basking in her happiness, and then she said, "You know, you're really nice." She extended a wing and stretched it out. "I kinda wanna fly. Is there anywhere I can get up high?"

(sorry, im at play rehersal, and usin my phone.) Ceri stgood up and swiped her hands over her pants. "I think we need to do all we can to help our friends with their quest. Maybe your priests can tell us thier opinion of the gods....." She smiled softly.

"Well, there's the occasional trees we've been passing." Riley said looking out at the side of the road as they walked. "Just don't go too far, okay?"
