Demetri shrugged and nodded. "I'm fine with them going on a trip with other students. As long as there's more than just the four of them," he said warningly, giving Damian especially an eyeball.
Jethrow smiled serenely and saluted his younger brother, turning to go round up some random students. At least now he would be able to conduct a complicated psychological experiment on--- No, no, this wasn't an experiment on his nephews. He needed to stop thinking that way. Though, he did purposely pick students who he didn't think Hakaru or Damian would gravitate towards....

Luke gathered up some students as well, soon having a small group ready to go. He smiled some as he would be leading them to the beach.
Hakaru was ready, having a towel and a pair of swimming trunks on, still nervous. He was more towards the back of the herd of students as His uncle and mother were up front. Lunora was even dragging along his father so they could relax together in a nice setting. Besides, Demetri would be nosebleeding at Lunora in a bathing suit, now wouldn't he.

[OOC:] I fell off the bed laughing. Jethrow opted to stay behind and watch the castle, and Anya and Searan were quick to avoid the students as well. Demetri, however, volunteered as soon as Lunora said she was going, because who wouldn't want to see their (smoking hot) wife in a bathing suit?
Damian started flirting the moment all the other students were around. He counted every single girl, every single guy, and immediately decided who he'd dated before and who he hadn't. There were a few girls, maybe five, who he didn't recognize, and he made a mental note to keep an eye on them.
Kai trailed along at the end of the group, grim anticipation in her eyes. This was really just her worst nightmare. After all, she was supposed to be one of the toughest kids there, fighting and magic classes combined. She was sure someone was going to want her to get in the water, and she was not about to do that. No, she was staying safe on the sand. Or better yet, maybe find a rock cliff and hang out up there.

Luke and Lunora led the group to a nice big beach, telling them to have fun, but to stay within earshot of a teacher. With that, the students were let loose.
Hakaru quietly slink off to put his towel under th nice warm sun and laid down for a nice nap.
Mina drifted off to under a tree and opened a book, ready to get back to reading.
Lunora was like her son, laying her towel in the nice bright sun. And that's when she slipped off her robe, revealing the very nice body and the very attractive bathing suit she was wearing.
[OOC:] Glad I could make you laugh. And all the male characters nose bleed.

[OOC:] Well, except Dami, Haka, and Luke. That'd be sick and wrong. Demetri gruffly excused himself as Lunora lied down on the towel, and he rubbed his eyes once he was away from her, forcing himself to cal mdown and not practically attack her while they were at a public beach.
Damian watched the handful of girls he didn't know, and saw most of them gravitate towards other guys. One girl, though, sat underneath a tree reading. That was no fun, he decided, and he slunk over, carefully and quietly climbing up the tree. She was pretty, he decided, and worth his time. Hooking his legs over a branch, he hung upside down and stole the girl's book, looking at the page she was on with a smile. "This looks pretty boring compared to the beach."
Kai avoided a group of rather rowdy guys, up for impressing some girls. They were talking about throwing someone in the water, where everyone was playing. She, instead, clambered up a sheer rock cliff that nobody else was adventurous enough to conquer, and sat down on the edge, feet dangling over the water. She had her short hair down, and it didn't even move in the wind as she looked out at the ocean that she refused to get into.
The group of guys, who rarely got along with either of the princes, caught sight of Hakaru all by himself, getting ready to sleep. They smirked amongst themselves and shushed each other, before moving out to surround Hakaru. They quickly all grabbed a limb firmly, lifting him up and beginning to shuffle towards the shore where a particularly dark blue spot was starting to pick up in current...
[OOC:] Think undertoe sort of thing, where it's hard to rescue the swimmer because you have to swim a certain way. twisted

Mina gasped loudly and reached for her book. "H-Hey! P-Please give that back!" she said pitifully, trying to jump and get her book from the prince.
Hakaru was just about to sleep when he looked up to see he was surrounded, then seized by the boys. "H-Hey! Hey! G-Guys let me go!!" he said as he struggled all in vain. Before he knew it, he was in the air, then in the water. The young prince managed to kick off the bottom hard enough to get himself to the surface and gasp for air before starting to struggle against the current and the water itself. He tried calling for help, but the water kept making him gurgle, muffling his desperate cries.

Damian heard Hakaru's cries even from where he was, and he heard the splash right after that. His eyes widening, he handed the book back to the girl hurriedly, dropping out of the tree and onto his feet. He ran across the sand, to where the guys were staring at where they'd thrown Hakaru, waiting for him to resurface. When he did, Damian knew immediately that his brother was caught in the current. "You idiots! He can't swim!" Damian attempted to charge the water, but Demetri caught him by the back of his shirt quickly. "He has to swim himself out. The current is too strong and will pull anyone else in," Demetri said to Damian, but his expression was as worried as his son's. He tried to will the current to calm down with magic, but it was being far too stubborn. There was a cry from a random girl on the beach, and people pointed up to the cliff hanging over the water. Kai had stood up and was standing at the edge of the cliff, poised to jump. She could do this, and she knew she could. People shouted at her not to be stupid, but she finally dived off the cliff, easily slicing into the water. The current parted before her, and she easily found herself on the surface, swimming towards Hakaru. Quickly, she grabbed him around the waist, dragging him out of the undertoe and into the shallow water, where he could stand and wade back to the shore. Letting go, she tucked her now wet, stringy, and strangely red-shaded hair behind her ears, looking at Hakaru. "Are you alright? Can you breath?"

Lunora and Luke had come running as well, Luke issuing the same warning to his sister, which got him clocked right on the head. But she was relieved when the girl, Kai, had dragged him to shore. She immediately went to her son's side, thanking Kai.
Hakaru was almost about to drown when he felt an arm loop around his waist and drag him back. He soon could feel sand under his hands and feet and he crawled out of the water, coughing, hacking, and puking up a little water as his mother was there too. He nodded some to Kai, meaning he was going to be alright.
Luke, after getting clocked by his sister, went to track down the boys who did this, planning a very harsh punishment for hurting his nephew.

Damian rushed to Hakaru's side, patting his brother on the back and glaring extreme daggers at the idiots who'd done this. "It looks like the tide is coming in; let's get further up shore," he said. Demetri thanked Kai, as well, and frowned a little, recalling Jethrow saying that she was hydrophobic. So, why was she still sitting in the water?
Kai glanced over her shoulder nervously at the swelling tide. That wasn't just a typical tide coming in. A huge wave came up, out of nowhere, and people on the beach started scrambling up, some of the girls screaming. The wave crashed right into Kai, washing her up on the beach before receding greatly. A few people gasped. What they were expecting was the Kai Nalu they knew, with her short brown hair and lifeless black eyes. Nope. Kai's face was now filled with ocean blue eyes, her hair was long, well past her waist, and a dark red, and there was a dark blue, scaly, mermaid's tail stretching out from her. [OOC:] Surprise! She's a mermaid!

Lunora helped her son up the beach to avoid the wave, though watching Kai transform. So that explained the girl's aversion to water. Not. Didn't mermaids like water? But the fox shrugged it off, going to the mermaid. "Is there anything I can do to help you? In thanks for saving my son."

Kai looked up at Lunora, blinking a little. "Truth be told, a towel would be much appreciated," she said, pushing herself up with her elbows and adjusting herself so she could sit. The bottom of her tail, with the fins, was close to the shore, and oddly enough, when the water lapped on the the beach, it managed to avoid touching her. [OOC:] She has her reasons for hating the water. Hydrophobia was just to keep people off her back.

Lunora nodded some, but a towel was already being handed to the mermaid. By Hakaru. He was still to winded to speak, but he managed a smile, giving her his towel to dry herself with.
Lunora smiled some and went back to calm Demetri down so he didn't go on a rampage, and then found Luke in front of a large block of ice. "That'll teach em!"

Demetri frowned at the block of ice. And at Luke. "Oh, come on! Son trumps nephew; why didn't you leave at least one for me?"
Kai smiled back at Hakaru, thanking him for the towel. Once she was dry, the tail shrunk away, and she was sitting there, cross-legged and back in the drab clothes she'd been wearing. Her hair was short and plain again and her eyes turned back to black. Standing, she thanked Hakaru again, holding his towel out to him. [OOC:] Aw, poor Luna and Demi. No bloodshed for them.

Luke snuffed. "That's exactly why I froze them. So you two wouldn't kill them! Now don't you have some attacking my sister to do, Mr. Husband?"
Hakaru smiled sheepishly and shook his head some. "You can keep it." he said hoarsely before coughing a little. He headed back to Damian, asking to borrow his towel and go rest for a while.

Demetri rubbed the back of his neck as Luke spoke. Shrugging, he said, "I got somewhat distracted by my son almost drowning," he pointed out.
Kai continued to sit there for a bit after Hakaru had left, but soon she got up and headed back to the rock cliff where she'd left her bag. She sat up there, folded the towel, and put it in her bag. She tucked her now damp hair behind her ears again.
Damian raised his eyebrow and handed Hakaru his towel without questioning it. "If you tell me you just got rescued by a mermaid and you didn't ask her out I'm going to redrown you," the older brother threatened.
