Meanwhile back on the Highwind:
"Alright, Xaina, we need to drop Zack and Aerith off at Bevelle so they can go see Tara. Hopefully with all the wedding preparations they won't cause us any trouble. Vincent, you've been hanging around Tara and this Zack kid for about a year now, what's he like?" Cloud asked, crossing his arms in his usual way.
"The kid was picked on a lot before Raine came along. He has a good head on his shoulders he just gets distracted with what he wants. That book he has is probably the worst thing that could fall into his hands. He's hopelessly in love with her and I doubt he'd give up any time soon, it would take some massive soul shattering trauma to convince him to give up. Sadly he thinks this is the perfect world and it's his idealism and naivety that's going to hurt him in the end." Vinent said with a sigh. If the assault on Bevelle was going to work they'd need Zack and Aerith there to provide information. Then they'd have to rescue Tara and convince Zackariah to stop without the kid committing suicide.

"I wonder how Tara is holding up? Aerith are you okay, I mean you just seem so calm despite the fact that everything seems to gone to hell in a bread basket and our daughter is about to get married." Zack said, he was doing his best not to totally spas out about this whole thing.
"Zack calm down, Tara's a tough girl she'll be able to handle herself, in fact often times she's the voice of reason when Raine gets a crazy idea in his head." Vincent said and sat down, he could tell how close the former SOLDIER was to freaking out.

"Actually even if I do appear calm I'm actually a mess on the inside trying not to panic" Aerith said quietly, clenching, and unclenching her fist. Clearly she was panicking on the inside.

The Fanged Creature was eventually frozen solid and the Centipede was soon overwhelmed and it too expired. Soon after Ace was lifted back up into the Aeon's chamber. The Fayths said nothing as one by one they disappeared and gave their power to Ace.
"Well at least you can hold it in, I wonder what happened, how did she get nabbed so easily?" Zack asked, Tara wouldn't go down without a fight and she could fight hard, Zack had scars from some of their more serious matches.
"Two of Zackariah's people ambushed us, knocked the rest of us out and grabbed Tara after she was already unconscious from an earlier fight with Ulitma." Vincent said with a sigh, and Master Chief had been unable to fire his weapon for fear of hitting Raine or the others.

The airship had reached Bevelle.
At camp Snake was cooking some snakes. Momoko, and Tori looked disgusted. "They actually taste better than they sound" Snake said.

"It's no worse than what I had to eat during survival missions." Master Chief said and removed his helmet to eat. He wished he had Cortana with him, he kind of missed her smartass remarks and subtle insults.
"Well looks like we're here. See you guys later." Zack said and moved to the landing ramp so he and Aerith could leave, and hopefully not get lost on their way to the palace.

Xaina, and Cid helped prepare the ramp. When it was ready the two of them could leave. Mikuru went along. "I know the layout kinda well from looking at the maps"

"All right then, Cloud remember what it means to be SOLDIER okay?" Zack said and Cloud just waved him off and Zack laughed, he was a lot different than the wide eyed Turk he had met all those years ago.
"Take care you three, and remember Mikuru if something goes wrong on your end we won't be able to help you until after the ten days." Vincent said.
Sigma returned from the ruins and sat down next to the fire. Raine and Luna had their whole lives ahead of them and yet they were continually getting involved with the mistakes of the past. Nagi was right, we should've done something, consequences be damned, they're only kids, and Yuna has to overshadow her own descendant here, and Raine, well he was destined for this sort of thing, there was just no helping it. Sigma thought with a sigh, he wished things were simpler.

"I'll be alright" Mikuru said with a smile.
Yuna was asleep by then.
"Alright, its done" Snake said before handing the each a snake.
Tori was hesitant at first before taking a bite. She noticed that it wasn't bad. Gordon took a few bites too.

"All right Mikuru lead the way." Zack said with a smile as the Airship lifted off.
Master Chief ate the snake that was handed to him before putting his helmet back on.
After a while Sigma eventually fell asleep by the fire.

Mikuru nodded before leading them to the palaice. They were stopped by the guards. But Bikki came out the doors to greet them. "Let them pass, they mean no harm" she said in a soft voice. They did as told. "I had a feeling you would come. Don't worry. Tara is safe" she said.
When they were done eating they each went into a tent to sleep. Tori, and Momoko were to share a tent. One was set up for Gordon a Cheif, while Snake would be sleeping in a hamic in a nearby tree.

"And I'm assuming you're Bikki?" Zack asked.
Master Chief opted not to sleep in the tent, rather he felt like sleeping outside in case there was a problem in the middle of the night.
