As he petted Sandi's head whilst being pounced on by two larger dogs, Hermes heard a dog, a brown and white one that he wasn't particuarly keen on, barking in the direction of Demeter's gardens.
As he shrugged off the dogs that were lavishing him with attention, Hermes bluntly told the dog to stop barking.
The Dog, however, ran to Artemis then barked louder.

Artemis frowned before she nodded her head. "Alright Brutus show me what it is that has you so upset." It seemed like everyone of her dogs was named by someone other than her. Brutus had been named by Dionysus shortly after one of his parties. He said it was because the dog looked like a brute and would get on well with Herakles.

Hermes watched the dog, Brutus lumber away to Demeter's gardens with speed. After several seconds, Hermes heard the mastiff bark loudly with determination.
He walked after the dog, Sandi and the other dogs quick to stay away from what Brutus had found.

Artemis raised an eyebrow at what her dog had found. "Demeter's not going to appreciate a faun messing up her garden." There was a little faun lying in the garden looking confused. It was also lying right in the middle of Demeter's garden and was crushing quite a few plants.

Arwa looked at the two people who were looking at him. They didn't look like his family. He stood slowly up, backing away from the strange people. He was scared. He didn't know where he was. That Cactus appeared to be glaring at him and the people didn't look friendly.
Arwa bleated in fright then ran away from the pair of strange people.

Hermes looked at Artemis, then to the frightened Faun.
"Well don't look at me- He must've been scared by your dogs." Hermes said. Hermes then said as if in a moment of great realisation, "Isn't that the way to Hephaestus' Forge?"

Artemis nodded her head. "Yes it is. I think you better go after the faun. I'll put my dogs up until we know what's going on with the faun. He's obviously scared."

Zeus had got back from a recent trip visiting one of his mortal lovers, and was passing the gardens of Demeter on his way to his lodgings to bathe, pretending to have stayed on Olympus the whole time, keeping his masquerade of loyalty up for his wife, Hera.
He passed the gardens normally, then walked back to the garden, doing a double take. The gardens did not usually look like that. They were dishellved and disorganised, like something had been rolling in the plants.
On seeing one of Artemis' dogs, he promptly kicked it up the backside, sending it yelping away.
Demeter was not going to be happy about this. Since his hand in the fate of Demeter's daughter, Demeter hadn't been on great speaking terms with him. Why should he have to tell her this news? Zeus rubbed his head in annoyance as he grimaced- he felt a headache rising.

Nodding quickly to Artemis, Hermes dashed after the faun. How could something so small move so fast? It was like the little mite had disappeared. Stopping at the door of Hephaestus' forge, a gust of hot air assailed his face as the Messenger god peered inside.
After taking a fraction of a second to adjust to the atmosphere of the room, Hermes saw what looked like the shadow of the faun sat behind one of Hephaestus' shields.
Using his sandals to quietly levitate over to where the shadow sat, Hermes stalked the faun with the precision of a big cat.

Arwa held himself in fear. It was warm and he was scared. The little faun whimpered in fear, he wanted his mother, and not to be in the strange place that he had found himself in.
He was scared. Scared of the strange place, the strange people, the strange spikey plant... Where was his mother, Delilah? Why wasn't she coming? What if she wasn't coming? What if she was waylaid? Why couldn't he do what his mother did?
Arwa sniffed a little, a small tear appearing in each eye.

The Poor Faun. All lost and all alone. Hermes wondered if he could keep him. Shaking that thought out of his mind, Hermes coughed quietly.

Arwa jumped, scared even more, and tried to run, but the strange man was too quick for him to escape.

Holding the faun in his arms, Hermes struggled to keep holding the faun as he exited the oppressively warm forge.
"It's alright. Shhh!" Hermes said, holding the wriggling faun in his arms, as he flew above the mountain on his way back to Artemis.

"Go away!" Arwa shouted, "I don't want you!" as he tried to escape. It felt almost helpless. The man was unhumanely fast. "MUUUUUUUUUUM!!" He screamed aloud. "Where are you?" Resorting to the last resort, Arwa headbutted Hermes in the chest.

Winded from the suddenness of the attack, Hermes dropped the Faun.

After the king's interrogation, Delilah was left chained to the floor, an imprisonment only slightly less barbaric than being chained from the ceiling to dangle down from. One of the two guards was watching her. She changed her arms back to human ones under the warmth of a woolen blanket. Delilah stuck her tongue out at the watching soldier, daring him to move to retaliate. The other soldier, however, on seeing his comrade about to dash in and attack the strange creature, prevented him from making a dangerous mistake.
The angry soldier stabbed his spear through one of the holes in the iron door.
Delilah smiled. She'd just thought of a way to escape.

Sage frowned slightly as she looked around camp again. It had been a long time. Delilah should have been back by now. She stood up and began to wander through the woods again not bothering to create an illusion to cover her hair leaving it it's natural color. Not only was Arwa missing but now Delilah was. No matter how worried she was about her child Delilah knew better than to worry Sage and the others by not coming back or at least sending word. Something was wrong.

Looking down, Hermes saw the Faun freefalling backwards trying to clasp onto something as he fell.
Diving down, Hermes tried to reach the faun before he became the flattest faun on Olympus.

Arwa saw the strange man swoop down like an eagle. He twisted around to see the ground speedily rising up to greet, then followed by a quick jerk from his shoulders, the ground growing further away.

Hermes had caught the faun several hundred feet from impact to the ground.
He flew the faun directly to Artemis, making sure that the faun was more than an arms distance away.

Artemis looked at the fawn and gave him a soft and encouraging smile. "It's alright little faun we aren't going to hurt you I promise. We just want to know where you came from."

"You smell like Dogs." Arwa said, very quietly, standing away from both Hermes and Artemis. His head was down and he felt very nervous.

Artemis nodded her head. "Yes I'm the Goddess of the Hunt. I raise all of my hunting hounds myself."

Hermes snickered, about to comment on the faun's mumble, about to comment that Artemis did smell like dogs, but when Artemis had elbowed him in his ribs, Hermes didn't say it aloud.
"I am Hermes, god of Messengers, among other things."

Looking to the two odd gods, Arwa thought that they were very strange. He slowly asked them, if nervousness was the best word to describe Arwa's emotions.
"My name is Arwa.... Where am I?"
