You get lectured in an internship? I thought you just did the boring jobs no one else wanted to do.
Maybe you want it so much that you're creating the scent of it.

On paper, this is actually a pretty cool engineering internship where we actually take on projects and create stuff. We've made card towers, popsicle-stick towers, and we're currently in the process of making a bike-pedaled ball launcher and rail gun.
It's still kind of gotten to be a pain though.
Hahaha, maybe. I've done that before.

Rail guns are always fun! o: Even though I'm not sure what they are.

Yeah, I've never shocked myself so many times building that rail gun ^^;

It does. It shoots very miniscule metal marbles, but that's only because we've only ever tested it with those.
I would say the spark it releases is more impressive though.

What are you using it for?
Sounds kinda painful.

Just as a "fun project."
It's not particularly painful, but that might just be because we all back up like 10 feet away from the rail gun before we press the switch.

None of my "fun projects" electrocute me. But then again, mine are always pretty tame.
I think I'm going to try and learn how to play the guitar.

Ooh, that's cool o: Best of luck.
That reminds I should really start practicing the flute. I haven't touched it all summer.

Yep. But it's more of a "been-doing-it-since-freshman-year-so-I-might-as-well-keep-it-up" sort of thing. That, and it's nice to use different parts of your brain at ungodly hours of the morning. It would absolutely stink having multi-variable calculus first period, so thank the gods they moved it later.
Do you do band?

No, I played the clarinet in 6th grade but band isn't for me.
