"Oh..." was all Barick could utter as he looked at the man in front of them.

Kir knew this would happen. He was being pitied. He stomped his foot down lightly to make sound and mouthed 'stop it,' a few times. They were looking down on him like he really was a monster or something. He knew he was horrible. They didn't have to do that to him. He frowned. Since he couldn't speak, they had to rely on figuring out what he wanted from his expressions and actions.

"...Thank you," Core said and looked to the conversation that was going on while they were talking.

Barick saw that the man wanted something to be stopped. He let Aislin figure it out.

Aegina also turned her attention to the other conversation.

Aislin tilted her head to the side, "Stop what? Stop being surprised that you survived that event? That you're still completely sane with those memories?"

Kir sighed silently and slapped his forehead. He remembered reading somewhere that over 70% of communication is done through body language. If that's the case, then why couldn't they understand him?
And who said he was sane? Every so often his past reaches up and crushes him, stunting his thoughts and his actions severely.
He snatched the notebook from Aislin's hands and wrote down, "Don't pity me!" in large letters. He hated that look.

"Pity you?" Aislin raised an eyebrow shot up, "I don't pity you." She shoved the book back into Kir's chest, annoyed that he'd think such a thing, "I've been through a hell similar to yours. If I didn't have all these people around me I don't know how I would handle this. Pity my a**. I respected you. Past tense being the main subject here."

Aislin turned on her heel and holding onto Barick's wrist, practically, dragged him upstairs. She didn't want her emotions to get the best of her in front of the angel.

Kir stepped back, "Look after Lydia for me," He thought strongly, so everyone heard him. Then he turned and ran out the door again, only this time it wasn't because someone outside was in danger. This time was more personal.
He spread his wings and flew into the air. If only he could control his weapon magic. He wanted to destroy something to take out his frustrations. No...Maybe...
He angled himself into a cave and after testing it and finding it to be soundproof he went in as far as he could and yelled. Yelling does wonders when you're stressed. He heard a few bats fall from the roof of the cave when he did. That frustrated him more. He couldn't speak to these people, and misunderstandings ran amok because of it, "Why does this have to happen?! Why can't I do anything right?!" He threw his fist at the wall of the cave and it left an indenture there at the cost of the bones in his palm. He heard them snapping but he didn't stop. He continued throwing punches at the wall until eventually his hand was bloody and broken; completely unusable, "How can I live my life like this? Everyone and everything is against me. I can't do or say anything because I only make things worse..." He put his undamaged hand on his throat, "...This voice...has to go..." He knew killing his voice wasn't going to solve any problems, but he wasn't in his right mind anymore. Just like he thought. Sane was only a state of mind, and currently he wasn't in it. Aislin's past could not even scratch the surface to Kir's life. And she had nerve to preach to him for it. He didn't want their respect. He just wanted the Academy gone so he might be able to live a normal life. She was getting her wish. She had nothing to be depressed about. Kir on the other hand was falling apart at the seams. Their pasts were not even close to alike.

Lily could feel her temperature rising as she felt Kir get more upset, and upsetting her in turn.
We should kill them for upsetting him, the magic store in her mind suggested.
Go away, Lily thought to it harshly as she went to the window Kir had flown out of and looked after him. She wanted to be there for him, so much. It was because of her abilities that he held back his emotions when he was around her.
Lydia scooted behind Mana when Kir flew away. She could guess that Lin had done something bad to him, and then made her anger. Kir was the nicest person she had ever met, why did they hurt him? She was getting closer to activating again.
Chiasa looked over at Lydia as she felt her blood urging her away from the girl. Then was something strange going on with her.

After anger and frustration, depression usually ensued. Kir realized that he had to get rid of his voice. Not speaking made communication hard, but speaking would kill them. So he had no reason for his voice, "Lily...I want to make things right again...Am I really beyond hope...?" He asked the half destroyed wall before him, "No matter what, I will always be there for you Lily...So please don't be angry...I love you..." His hands, now claws, dug into the flesh below his throat, towards his vocal chords. He wasn't trying to kill himself, he was removing his voice.

Core felt very little from Lydia for some reason, but he still knew something is up, "Don't be mad at Aislin. I'm sure she doesn't mean it," He said and stood up at last.

Lily's breath suddenly caught in her chest as she felt some intense pain from Kir. She only noticed his pain now, because the magic had heightened her senses.
Go, the store thought, but by that time, she had already jumped out the window, and landed hard on her feet. She ran as fast as she could towards where Kir was hiding. She was terrified that something had happened to him.

"What the hell are you doing?! Stop this!" Kieran thought to Kir.
"I'm sorry, I'm...I'm sorry...!" Kir thought back.
"Kir you can be sorry later! For now stop doing this to yourself before you destroy your voice!"
"What's the point in having it?! All that's going to happen is I'll one day kill someone else with it! Just like those kids in Skyrim!"
"Kir that's not true and you know it! Lily doesn't want this!"

Lily finally reached the cave where Kir was hiding. As she got closer, she slowed down and notice a sharp pain in her right ankle when she put weight on it. "Kir!" she called out as she went deeper in.

Kir felt Lily's pain and instantly both of his minds froze. It was like he was activated only he really wasn't; just a backup program that keeps him serving Lily. He stood up, blood running down his chest, and walked over to where he knew Lily was. His eyes were cold and lifeless, but he gave off the same amount of power Kir did when he's back to normal.

Lily looked up as Kir came into view. "What happened?" she asked him, her eyes widening upon seeing all the blood.

Kir gently coaxed Lily to sit down. Then he put his hands on her ankle to try and fix it, flooding magic into it for repairs. His eyes were empty and unfocused.
