Shae picked up the rock, and it didn't shock him. the emissions of power felt, familiar. Almost like the rock was part of him, and extension of his body.

"No fair..." she muttered, seeing that it didn't shock Shade.

"Look. It's pulsing with that black aura I had earlier..." Shade said. He had a sudden urge, and he obliged it.
"Shadow pulse." He said, slamming one fist into the stone. It shattered to peices, and in the rubble was a small, black ring, with red pulsing marks.

Kikyo took in a breath.
"That is one of the coolest rings I've ever seen," she said, eyes wide. "All around my hometown, I couldn't find any this awesome. But I'm not touching it."

Suddenly the Shroud of shadows started glowing, and Shade took it out. Both the ring and the shourd began glowing.
"Is this... A wu?" Shade asked, looking the now glowing ring over.

"I dunno..." Kikyo said. She then turned away a little and yelled,
"Dojo! Come here!" Dojo arrived.
"Yeah?" Dojo asked, looking at shade and Kikyo.

Kikyo started to skim through the scroll, as Dojo said,
"That is the Ring of Darkness...I remember that. Anyone besides a shadow user or Dashi himself who touches it will get a horrible...shock..."

"I think Kikyo learned that the hard way..." Shade said, "But what if you lose it in a showdown? Does it still shock them or does that part turn off for it's owner only?"

"Ring of Darkness-It expels shadow energy at a target, or can be used to create an arena made entirely of shadows. The arena saps the health of both combatants, and the winner leaves the other unconscious anywhere in the world and continues on with the ring," Kikyo read off the scroll.
"I'm not sure..." Dojo said. "Are you two willing to do a quick showdown to see if that ring does shock anyone that isn't a shadow user?"
