Kana looked up suddenly as she noted the change in the girl's legs. Actually, they'd switched entirely to some kind of serpentine tail! She blinked and stared in shock until they changed back to normal. Then she blinked several times and quickly looked away, nervous fro staring so long. But she couldn't help gazing at the white snake just a moment longer as the girl spoke and kissed it.
Then she glanced at the other girl who'd made her appearance. "Um, my name's Kana," she blinked, and then finally turned her attention back to Kumizu. She grinned as he laughed as well, then looked around herself again.
She watched Kietaru for a moment, but then realized she looked to be lost on thought, so she didn't say anything that might break her out of it. Next Kana tilted her head at Shojuto, watching as he sank under the water. She blinked in surprise, confused as she watched him go under. She was nearing a panic level and prepared to go down after him when he suddenly emerged once more. She blinked at him, eyes wide yet full of concern. "Are... you ok?" she asked uneasily, ears drooping slightly.

Kietaru looked at Shojuto with worry. When they were younger, he used to get sick very easily, and grow very tired and faint, but he'd gotten older and eventually grew out of it. She wondered if it had come back, if he would be getting sick once more. She prayed and hoped that it wasn't the case. He was so helpless when in that state, and he wouldn't be the same if it was truely his weakness coming back all of a sudden.

Shojuto shook his head again slightly, trying to bring himself back. He looked at Kietaru, then at Kana. He hoped he hadn't worried them. He was ok, or at least he thought he was. He hoped he wasn't getting weak again, it was so annoying, being dependent on the nearest person. It disgusted him, the thought of having to lean on someone else again. He looked at Kana and felt ashamed of himself for showing weakness and worrying her. "No, it's ok. I'm fine. I must have just, dozed off and lost my grip..or something."

Rivera leaned back, wincing slightly from the wounds on her back and the older scars of past experiences. She transfered Nazumi to her head, and let the long snake coil over her hair, Nazumi's tail hanging down over her shoulder and her head resting just above Rivera's forehead. Nazumi ficked her tongue happily and closed her eyes. That was one thing that was special about Nazumi. She was a snake with eyelids. In fact, Nazumi wasn't just a snake, she was more of a snake shaped dragon, hence the large eyes, elegant head structure and goldfish like tail appendage.

Kana glanced at Kietaru questioningly for a moment, then back to Shojuto. Her ears perked as she listened to his answer and she slowly nodded her head. "O-ok, good..." she murmured, but continued gazing at him for a short while longer. Then she sighed very faintly, almost silently, before she managed to pull a smile back to her face. She tugged her towel tightly around herself and then glanced around, first almost nervously at the girl and snake, then at Kumizu and Mead, and finally back to the twins.
She offered each a smile in turn and then began running her hands absently through the water again, watching the little ripples as her mind began to wander anxiously and she accidently began chewing her lip nervously without realizing it. I really hope he's not sick... He should go see a doctor or something, shouldn't he? If he's going to be randomly falling under water like that. Her tail wound tightly around her waist once more as she continued playing with the water. She suddenly felt really scared, and closed her eyes for a moment, shivering slightly.

Kumizu was about to help him, but Shojuto was already above the surface again. He leaned back in his spot and laid his head back. He stayed there for a moment, closing his eyes but still listening to the conversations.
Finally, he stood up and stepped out of the water. "Well, I haven't really seen that much of the campus, so I'm gonna keep going. Anyone's welcome to join, or can stay here, it doesn't matter to me." In actuality, he was getting rather bored, and being stuck with a large group of people in a small spring wasn't exactly what he'd planned for. He felt relaxed and rejuvenated, so he figured there was no reason to stay.
He strapped his sash and put on his gloves. Then he put on his boots and stood, grabbing his cane. Towel in hand, he started to the boys changing room one last time to put it away.

Rivera looked towards the strange girl... "Don't worry... Nazumi doesn't bite very often... She's very friendly, well... friendlier than me." Rivera's face was stone and her voice was wind. Her eyes were ice as well as her skin and lips. She was someone you might think to be an ice spirit, yet her hair was not silver, nor blue, but black. It marked her as a strange person, without lineage in too many different places. "Nazumi likes sweets, not blood. I'm the one that likes blood..." Her eyes danced in slight amusement and her face stayed still.

"I'll join you." Mead said as he also got up, and walked into the boys changing room. He grabbed his stuff out of the locker, and went around a corner to a stall, where he changed into his regular clothes, and also kept his soaked cloak with him. "Where to next?" he asked after getting dressed and waiting for Kumizu to leave.

Kietaru looked at Kana. She seemed quite worried about Shojuto, which was normal, seeing as he just randomly fainted into the water with no signs that he was sick whatsoever. It worried her as well, the last thing she wanted was for it to happen again and him to potentially drown. She looked back at her brother and finally decided to let it out. "Shojuto, are you sure you're fine? Please just tell the truth for once. There's no need to try and look strong if you're sick. Everyone gets sick it's not a sign of weakness. Please?"

Shojuto was beginning to feel frusterated. You IDIOT! How could you let this happen, you've worried your better half and probably freaked out Kana. If she never wants to speak to you again it'll be all your damn fault for letting yourself look weak and stupid, damnit! Shojuto looked at Kietaru and lost it. "I'm fine damnit! I said I dozed off didn't I?" His anger faded almost completely when he realized how harsh he was being. Perfect, god your stupid. Now Kana probably thinks your a psychotic freak with a bad temper. "Ugh, I didn't mean to yell like that. I just...ugh, damnit. I'm not very good at this hole apologizing thing. I..oh forget it. I'm an idiot." Shojuto closed his eyes and began looking down at the water, at a loss for words. Knowing he couldn't say anything that would make him look sane again.

"I suppose I will too..." Rivera rose out of the water, the towel clinging against her and dripping water. She moved into the girl's changing rooms and changed into a ruffled blue tanktop, a pair of black shorts with a black leather belt, her black boots and a translucent white blouse with cropped sleeves. She slung Kairyu over her back and Kairen around her waist with the belt that held her dagger and guns. Nazumi stayed on her head and she exited, her wet hair still pinned up by the dragon clamp. She met the other boys outside.
"Where to?"

Kana looked up suddenly as Kumizu spoke and then climbed out of the spring. "E-eh?" she stammered, watching his rather sudden, in her opinion, departure. She remained blinking for a moment, eyes only widening as Mead decided quickly to join him. "Um, I...?" she began uncertainly, casting another glance at Shojuto. She couldn't leave just yet. She was still feeling too paranoid. "I'll find you guys later, ok?" she said, tapping her nose with a grin as if to say she could easily sniff them out if she wanted.
She watched until the two had disappeared and then glanced at the girl with the snake as she realized she was talking to her. Kana's eyes widened slightly as she took in her words. "Eh? Y-you're the one...?" she echoed uncertainly, shifting nervously a little in place. Then Kana closed her eyes for a moment, shaking her head. When she reopened them, there was a smile upon her face once more. She blinked as she saw her leaving and tilted her head. "Well, I'll see you later!" she called after her, waving slightly.
She turned quickly back towards the twins as Kietaru spoke up, her ears drooping greatly as she heard the word 'sick'. So he is ill...? she thought anxiously, then jumped in alarm as Shojuto suddenly burst out yelling. She stared at him in surprise for a moment, but her gaze softened as he began his awkward apology. "It's alright," she said warmly. "Don't worry about it." She paused for a second, shaking her head with a small laugh. "And you're not an idiot either," she assured him.

"Well, it's not going to be terribly interesting. An old friend came by, and right now I need to go to the library to find a book. That's partly why I said anyone could stay; it won't be a whole lot of fun for the first part of this 'trip'." With that, he turned and started walking, cane tapping against the ground.

"To the library it is then." Mead said happily as he followed behind Kumizu. He hadn't ever been to the library here, or anywheres else for that matter, but he might have to get used to it, because he might have something within the library's mass of books someday. or atleast he hoped he might.

Xhel walked into the hotsprings from the changing room, her hair tied. she spotted another girl over at the springs and decided to go outside of her shy mode and make her first friend in ria. "maybe she'll know where naka is??" she wondered to herself. she walked to where kana was and asked " umm.... may i join you? im new and dont know anyone"

Kietaru was startled when Shojuto yelled, but part of her was used to it, because that, in fact, was the old Shojuto. He was known to burst out yelling like that at every turn, and Kietaru knew that, so she wasn't surprised when he lost his temper in an instant. He probably doesn't want Kana thinking he's weak, paranoid it'll make him less of a man. Poor Shojuto, first time he's had a crush and already things are going bad for him. "Oh it's alright Shojuto, we're all entitled to lose our tempers now and again. You are probably just tired, you should sleep in tomorrow." She said, trying to cover up her previous 'ill' remark, knowing that's probably why Shojuto jumped to the defensive.

Shojuto sat there, quite still, his head still hung over, looking at the water. He felt like a moron, even after Kana and Kietaru let his little yelling fit go. He looked back at Kietaru. "Ya, maybe." He then turned to Kana. "I'm sorry you had to see me like that, sometimes I just cant control my damned temper!" I always manage to make myself look crazy or stupid, thats probably why I never had any friends. "I've never been very good at acting like a normal person."

Rivera nodded and followed them. She had been to the library before, and found the book that unlocked her past. She learned of her lineage and confirmed it there, and it guided her to find Nazumi as well. It was where she learned how to heal using chaos energy and her water birthright combined, and understood the rituals which she performed on new moons and full moons. The library was a curse as well as a blessing.
