Orson Scott Card = good, yes 3nodding
Xeks-> Yeah that only works, if he uses a "principle theme" PER book. His works are mainly all the same, just different (in name only) characters and different threats. He has few exceptions. He's been riding on his initial fame for AWHILE now.
Koontz is better. SO MUCH BETTER. S.K. wishes he could write as well.

Nah if you look at all the different books, none share the same principle theme. Tommyknockers to Desparation, are totally different. Same goes with Sleepwalkers and Thinner and so on.

For instance, how often does he have a main male protagonist have a small boy secondary character/? The main female character often dies, or is assumed dead. Towns often destroyed completely. ...I could continue.
