Neko softly pressed his lips against Ishira's, right as he noticed her eyes shift in thought and doubt. He placed a cool hand on the side of her face and stepped back, letting Ishira have the desk. He moved away and picked up her tunic before offering it to her and speaking, a content smile on his face.

"That scroll will contain Kyuu's soul as soon as you transfer it. It's very simple, you just need to lay the weapon onto the scroll, then lay your hands on Kyuu and feel her out. Extend your own energy into the weapon, feel how it is build, feel her energy inside of it, then find the seal that keeps her bound... It will take concentration to break the seal, and once you do, you need to contain Kyuuketsuki's energy, and pour it into the scroll. When she is fully contained, pour enough of your energy into the scroll to keep her there while you seal it.. All you need to do is cut the connection permanently, and she'll be trapped inside until you let her out."

Neko waited for Ishira to start the process before slinking up behind her and wrapping himself around her, his hands lightly grasping her forearms as he pressed his body against hers. He would pour just a little of his energy into her to monitor how she was doing, and give guidance where it was needed. It also worked well to see how well Ishi could concentrate while distracted.

Ishira kissed him back softly, and lightly touched his hand as he touched her cheek. She wanted to tell him everything was alright, but it wasnt, she was still struggling. At the least she knew shed make it through and that in the end shed be fine, it would just take some time. He moved away and it saddened her that she wasnt able to express what she wanted but she took in a deep breath and returned his smile with her own as she took her clothing from him. Slipping the tunic on, she held onto Kyuu with one hand and looked down at the scroll. She tried to remember the times she had sealed things when Kioke was alive and not a spirit. Two hundred years was a while though, but she remembered most if not all. She took another deep breath as she tried to calm herself. When Neko made his way to her, and wrapped her in his embrace it filled her with warmth and confidence. She place Kyuu down ontop of the scroll, then moved her hands over the top of the weapon, barely touching it at first. She thought back on her training, what she had done to use her energy to keep her alive, and pulled the energy from her. She replaced it quickly as she sent what she pulled to her hands and out across Kyuu. Ishira expected the blade to call to her more, and expected thats where most of Kyuus spirit stayed. It surprised her to feel that the blade in fact, was where almost nothing that was Kyuu laid. Kyuu had taked her place in the wooden staff of the weapon. It made Ishira smile, thinking back on how she liked the smell of the wood before noticing the blade. She let her hands explore the intricate designs fully for the first time, recognizing, that like most older weapons, it told a story that related to Kyuu. It interested Ishira, making her send more energy through the wooden staff. Too bad it hadnt been a language she had studied, shed have to ask Kyuu about it later.

So warm... Kyuu said, almost as if she was tired. Her voice started to fade as Ishira moved. Kyuu was interesting when Ishira broke her down. Though demon, she was still very much human and still felt human. Her rage seemed to define her, twisting in and out of her energy, surrounding it like a barrier. An uneasy feeling went through Ishira in a small shiver as she thought about breaking through that barrier. She pulled her energy back a little, and almost stepped back but remembered Neko was there. She bumped into him, and it reminded her to continue. He had said there would be a seal, she just hadnt expected it to scare her. She wanted to curse at herself for doing this as a human and not taking the form of her fox before she started, but then again, she needed to learn how to deal with things in this form. She squirmed a little in Nekos grasp before making up her mind and just diving in.

Neko kept his eyes opened, his chin resting on Ishira's shoulder as he stared at the weapon. There was a certain ferocity behind his stare, behind the energy he was aiding his student with, something Ishira had likely not felt before. It was calm, however, kept at bay. He didn't budge at all as Ishi began to step back., but he didn't push her forward, either. She could feel the vastness of his energy behind the minuscule amount he was using to help her. Still waters apparently ran very deep. He was in no way pushing her along, or using his power to help her, only to reassure her, to let her know that he would catch her if she fell. This was a very dangerous process, especially in Ishi's state, and he wasn't going to lose his most promising student, his love, to a renegade spirit.

Neko didnt push her, but didnt stop her. It was comforting but made her nervous. She wasnt sure if she was doing to right thing, but at least she was pretty sure she wasnt doing something wrong. She reminded herself that not everything was as clear as right and wrong as she pushed through Kyuus defenses. It hurt, she felt a shock go up her arms and she pushed more energy from her to stop it from going to Neko. She growled a little, even with Kyuu practically submissive, her defenses hated Neko and paid more attention to him than to what Ishira was doing. It was a good but bad thing, it made her concentrate more on keeping the energy from reach out to him.

All in all, she smiled though. Neko filled her with all that he was giving her and it was enough to let her set aside any questions in her mind. It let her work, let her concentrate on something she knew her human body would have gotten lost in. For the time he was with her, part of her, a support for her when she felt weakened by the ongoing attacks that the seal tried to send up her body. Ishira pushed forward, her hands now stopped at the center of the staff and pressing down onto it, as if trying to push it into the scroll. She felt something crack within Kyuus barrier and then suddenly it was like it realized that Neko wasnt the threat right now. It turned on Ishira, sending a wave of energy through her so strong that it took her breath. Fear filled her instead of the comfort Neko had given her and her heart started to pound in her chest. Her body tensed as she finally let out her breath and the energy was quickly replaced with pain. Ishira felt her knees want to give and she leaned forward, taking in gasp after gasp of air into her burning lungs. She gave herself no time to think about turning back and poured as much as she could through the crack she knew she had created. Again another shock to take her breath but instead she let out a fierce yell and broke through.

It was a odd thing to feel as Kyuu moved from the weapon to the paper underneath. Ishira almost felt like she was falling into it herself, following Kyuu closely.

No. Kyuus voice was soft but demanding and Ishira pulled back enough to keep herself in her own body. Ishira smirked, thanking Kyuu silently before she put all her energy into the scroll. Something sent a high pitch sound through Ishiras head and she jumped back, letting go of the weapon as her hands covered her ears and fell back. Her knees finally buckled and she fell. She frantically grabbed Neko, keeping herself steady but halfway down and she tried to get back to the desk. Her legs wouldnt hold her though and she grew into a panic as she clawed at the desk and pulled herself up by her arms that shook. She feared that the process hadnt finished and her eyes darted from the weapon to the scroll. She couldnt feel Kyuu any longer.

Neko didn't so much as flinch as Ishira was attacked. he was there, and he would keep permanent harm from coming to her, but he let her feel the pain Kyuu was inflicting. He wouldn;t fight her battles, but he wouldn't let her lose them, either. Neko still had his hands on Ishira's arms as she began to fall. He wrapped their arms around her stomach, holding her up a one of his feet slid back to catch his balance. He held her close, but not too tightly, she could break free easily if she tried. he would keep her in his embrace as long as she would stay. With a small chuckle and a smile, he looked carefully at the scroll, and the now defunct weapon.

"You did well, love. Much better than my first time... You can't feel her any longer, I assume?"
PostPosted: Sat Apr 03, 2010 3:15 am

Ishira searched. Her shaky hands moved across the weapon and found nothing but the kind feeling of old wood. It no longer felt like a weapon that was used to kill, that was filled with hatred in any way. It felt unused, and calm, like that was how it was originally suppose to be. She fell back, allowing Neko to completely surround her again as she searched within herself. She looked for their connection, and found only an empty spot in which Kyuu had once been. It saddened her but let her relax and enjoy Nekos embrace. She was breathing hard, her body ached but she felt like she was in her place, which wasnt something that happened often. She glanced over her shoulder at him, hoping she wasnt being a bother and then felt a tinge of excitement as he complimented her work.

"Yes, well if i remember correctly, the first time i ever sealed anything it didnt end up well and left two people very injured... " She leaned back against him, as she felt her legs strengthen again. She would be fine soon, maybe in a bit of pain, but the fear had been washed away by her panic that was now practically gone. She opened her mind and spirit to Neko, taking in a little of what he had offered before gaining her independence again as she stood up.

Neko's eyes opened a little in surprise as he felt Ishira open up to him. He sighed softly, opening himself completely to her, as well. The raw power she could tap from was astonishing. His mind and spirit were like a hurricane. Filled with chaos and sheer destructive force, but in the eye of the storm, it was calm and peaceful. So much was running through his head that it was impossible to sort out, but one thing in particular, enclosed in the small calm column in the center of the storm, stood out. He was happy, content, just holding Ishira like this. They could see the walls of the storm swirling around them, wreaking havoc all around them, but they were safe.

"Well. I'm glad it turned out better this time."

As she pulled away, he let her. He looked over to the tank that held Kyuu's vessel. The liquid was still cloudy, but something could be seen inside, something small and human in shape, it's form mostly still hidden.

Ishira turned and looked at him, she laced her fingers into his and then stepped closer to him. She wanted to face him as she opened herself up to him again and as he opened himself. He didnt bother her so much with the chaos, in fact it was normal for her. It was like herself, constantly moving, constantly fight or thinking about things. To and extent she had expected it, but then she really hadnt expected to feel so familiar towards it. Her spirit wasnt a hurricane, but it was a storm. Unlike his were there was a place that you could sit calmly and be safe, hers had no place to go.

They were in the middle of the storm, things coming and going past her, taking her mind when ever it please. She could put things to the side, she could control some of the things that raced in her mind, but others would go right through her, take her for moments, sometimes longer until it was either thrown aside or became part of the storm again. Things surrounded her like her Darkness did, threatening to take her completely and not let her escape as it spread confusion through her and filled her with the questions. Her thoughts were scattered, some completely contradicting each other while others questioned every little thing she did. It was a mess, horrible and continuely going with no end in sight. Memories passed from here to there, taunting her, haunting her every thought that could be a hint of happiness.

Ishira stood in the middle of it all, looking up into the storm, searching for something. She smiled, closed her eyes and a light filled her and pushed everything away. It was the warmth he gave her, it was the calm that made the storm a little easier to deal with. It was her slowly being able to control herself and become what she had been before.

"I may be whole on the outside Neko, but inside, i barely have control..." She whispered, trying to show him that he wasnt the reason for her sudden changes in mood, for her sudden reasons to back away from him. He had caused something good within her, had caused the storm to slow and allow her to start to control herself completely. She almost felt safe enough to become her fox, and let him see what the Hikari and Darkness did to her.

He kept his eyes open as she turned around, and rested his forehead against hers with a small grin. He heard the cacophony in her head, saw her turbulent spirit, and tightened his grip on her hands tenderly.

"But you have control. It's a start, and we just need to have you nurture that control until you can harness it all."

He closed his eyes and let out a small sigh, and Ishira might notice that she wasn't standing alone in that storm anymore. Neko was sitting beside her, looking up at the same clouds with a wide grin.

"You can pull this off. you have a foothold, now you just need to find your way up the cliff, and I'll be here to catch you when you fall."
PostPosted: Sat Apr 03, 2010 4:18 am

Ishira closed her eyes, her smile still on her face as she felt Nekos presence. She wanted him to be there, welcomed him as she pulled closer to him. She looked to the clouds and could see a light of soon to be clear thoughts coming through them. She wanted to reach out for them but knew that it wouldnt cause them to come any closer to her, so she stayed, her arms wrapped around him as they watched. Ishira felt her hint of power starting to flow through her and she wondered if she could let her chaos out so he would see. Her thoughts were one thing and would soon be controlled, but what would he think of the things that were killing her?

"Neko, be careful what you say. Even if you catch me, i dont want you to fall with me..." She whispered it, the clouds becoming darker as she thought about what she had meant. She didnt want him to catch her if her Darkness or Light took her.

"I am very careful of what I say. I will catch you, and I will break your fall. Just trust me on that. I've climbed back up from the bottom too many times, I know where the safe places to stand are, now."

He let out a chuckle and stayed there with her, slowly stepping backwards and bringing her with him, to head to the couch and rest. He would stay connected with her, and stay beside her in her chaos, no matter what.
PostPosted: Sat Apr 03, 2010 4:33 am

Ishira followed him closely, keeping her fingers lace with his as they moved. She still let him in her, but her connection was starting to dim as she thought. She loved that he wanted to stay there with her but it worried her that he was still insistent on catching her. She didnt want to take him with her when her elements took her. It scared her to think that he was willing to go with her when that happened... But she wasnt sure if he even knew what she had been telling him.

"I wouldnt be myself then Neko, i wouldnt know you, i wouldnt care what happened to you... I dont want that, i dont want you to catch me then." Her voice was low, trying to warn him, but not tell him exactly what she meant. She could feel herself closing, pulling away from him with fear that she was about to do too much. She couldnt laugh with him, but she followed him to the couch, knowing she wouldnt rest even if he asked her too. "Neko im serious, i dont want you there when im taken..."

"So, what? I let you be taken away from me? I would still know you, and I would still know what you're capable of."

He didn't let her run. He felt her fear and moved towards her, letting go of her hands and wrapping his arms tightly around her. he let his energy pour into her, engulf her completely, but not in a threatening way.

"I would go through Hell itself to stay with you, but only if you'll have me. If you don't want me to catch you, I won't, but who will, Ishira? I'm serious when I say that I've been down a very similar road, and I don;t have much longer here anyway. I want you to use me to reach the top of that mountain... I want for you to gain complete control over every aspect of yourself. You -can- do it, but your chances fall greatly without me here for you, any and every time you need me. i'll only ask once. Let me be there to catch you, no matter the consequence. If we both die, so ne it, but we'll at least be together."
PostPosted: Sat Apr 03, 2010 4:58 am

Ishira wanted to tell him no, wanted to push him away and run, but she didnt. He filled her with his power and she looked him straight in the eyes and saw his truth. She didnt understand it, didnt know if she even wanted to but she opened herself back up to him. He wasnt going to see what she saw, but she believed the same thing about him that he believed about her. She put her hands to either side of his face and looked straight at him.

"You can do the same Neko... Yes, i dont want you to follow, i dont want you to die, but i want to be with you as well. Ive never needed any one to catch me before, i always knew when to leave... Like now, something always told me when it wasnt safe to be around others. I may be able to climb the mountain you want me to, but im going to fall either way and the thought of taking you with me scares the hell out of me. I dont know when ill fall and id rather i didnt take you before your time. I can fight it off, but i cant control Hikari and i cant control the Darkness... They arent made to be controlled.. I want you catch me... I truly do, but i fear what it will do to you and if it killed you, i wouldnt forgive myself even if i lived."

Ishira pushed through the seal he put on her and her Hikari wings burst open and around them. The light made the shadows dance around their bodies as her Darkness made their pattern around her body. It hissed at the light, reached out and whipped at the wings, cutting them to try and get them away. Ishiras eyes started to shine like a light was behind them and she stretched her body as her fox came into her. Her white ears perked and her tail swayed but she never once looked away from him.

Neko kept his arms around her waist, and his eyes locked on hers. He stood stoically, his gaze cold and calculating once more as he picked apart every detail of what he was being told and shown.

"I don't die so easily. I don't think you've been able to climb as high before, and a short fall is easy to recover from. You want me to catch you, so I will. You want us to be together, so we will. It's decided. I will fight tooth and claw to keep you from regretting the decision, and I will not fail you."

He stood, immovable, like he was the mountain she was tasked with overcoming. He would not flinch, he would not fear, he would not question either of their resolves. He would show Ishira all of his strength. He would show her that he could be depended on, and that he would not falter.
