"Hyah!" Soujirou exclaimed as he sliced a scorpion in half. He front flipped forward, spun around, and sliced down, killing another one. He sidestepped a scorpion's claw attack, and lifted his blade up to "clash" with another scorpion's stinger. He swung upward, making the tail fly back. "Come at me!" He exclaimed as he cut off the scorpion's tail.
Soujirou and the scorpions were just trading blows. Well, sort of. Soujirou's attacks were hitting. The scorpions' were not. He blocked another scorpion's stinger and swung down before it had time to react, killing it with a swift blow to the head. He smirked and started to swing rapidly, pushing the scorpions back, if not killing them. One scorpion managed to thrust its tail at him, but he easily blocked it. Well right after...another one lunged at him with its tail. He only had one sword. There were two scorpions attacking him. The math didn't quite add up.
"s**t!" He yelled. There was no way he could move without getting stabbed. So he did the only thing that he COULD do. He....grabbed the scorpion's tail. It was just a reaction, but it managed to save him. He grabbed right below the stinger, when it was about an inch away from his chest.
His heart was pounding. He didn't know what had just happened. The only thing he did know though, was that he was still alive. But then, he realized that the scorpions were still pushing forward, trying to stab him. AND, there were other scorpions getting ready to attack. So he yanked the scorpion's tail upward, lifting it up. He swung down to the right, bashing the scorpion that was hitting his sword. Then he threw the scorpion at the crowd, hoping it would cause some damage.

.. And that's what they did. Herieo found himself lunged at by several of the scorpions at the same time, resulting in his being clambered upon. "Aye, aye! You guys calm down! It was just a.. JOKE!" As Herieo's voice rose, so did the crowd gathered upon him. A bunch of large stingers stabbed repetitively towards him, each of the attacks being parried by a Zanpakuto slash. Eventually, blood could be seen spurting from the ant hill of monsters. Herieo had drawn his Aikuchi and began slashing to match the stingers. He didn't wanna get hit by those big freaky things! What better way to ensure his safety then to cut the freakin' things off! I mean, really, is there any other way to deflect overgrown pincers on monsters! "RAHH, GET-OFFA'-MEH!" Herieo's muffled shouting soon grew as he continued to repeat the last phrase. Eventually, his blades and his upper body could be seen, both with splattered puddles of blood sputtered onto them. The boy was a central station for havoc, cutting and slicing in every which way from every possible angle two duel weapons would allow. "Yeah, that's more like'et! Get your' limbs slashed off! Wait.. What am I saying..? And when did I start using my Zanpakuto! Woah, what happened to my fear of cutting stuff.. I'm.. I'm over'et!" Excited at this recent discovery the boy's slashing became vigorous and overpowering. He wasn't stuck in one spot for even a minute longer. His new motivation, and mode of attacking was what opened the door to more damage being dealt!

Soujirou was quite surprised. He wasn't getting tired....at all. It looked like he was expending massive amounts of energy, but...he just wasn't tired. He didn't mind, though. It was good that he wasn't tired. That meant that he could kill more scorpions. He swung rapidly, back and forth. Somehow, he killed a scorpion just by repeatedly hitting its armor. "Maybe from the shock?" He asked himself.
He knew what to do know. If a scorpion attaked with his tail, he could simply parry and stab it. If it lunged at him, he could sidestep and cut its underside. He had it all planned out. So now...all he needed to do was attack. He crouched down low and proceeded to slash at the scorpions' faces.

Herieo enjoyed having found out he'd overcome a long-time fear. Being a Shinigami had visible ups and downs, but this was one he'd never planned for; overcoming a personal fear he'd held since childhood. It was amazing what a bit of battle experience and senseless violence could lead too. He was still the same sweet teenager with immaturity issues, but he was getting to be a bit more then that. Being thrown into gauntlets such as these could only improve his natural and unnatural traits. "RAHH. SLASH SLASH, HACK, SUPER-SLASH, HACK-TACULAR, MASHER CRASHER BASHHER!" Dynamically, Herieo began a slow charge while flailing both of his blade-wielding arms in every which way. He was running through the scorpions with little problem for a while, managing to mow down a few before he suddenly tripped.. Ouch. Herieo did however managed to face plant onto a tile, both of his Zanpakuto slashing into the faces of two unsuspecting scorpions. He was lucky as hell to pull off something so idiotic and successfully damaging! Only an idiot as clumsy and dimwitted as him could manage such a thing. Herieo's muffled giggle could be heard from both sides of him, signaling he was in fact fine and not unconscious-alized.

"THUD!" Soujirou turned around. Somehow, Herieo had managed to trip AND kill two scorpions at the same time. "Uh..." He decided that he would just turn back around. There was nothing to say about how awkwardly awesome that just was. "I'll just go back to poking these things with a sharp stick..." He said to himself. He lunged forward, stabbing down and killing a scorpion. He had stabbed down as hard as he could, so that the scorpion would be stuck to his sword.
He had realized that the scorpion was an effective method of owning the others, so he decided to utilize it. He swung the sword and body down like a club, smashing another scorpion to the ground. "Fun." He said as he swung around like a mad man. He stayed low to the ground of course, for the scorpions were...well scorpions. No matter how big they were, they would still be pretty low to the ground.
He also realized that there was a flaw in his stance. Since he was crouched down, whenever he jumped, if he wanted to maintain the crouched form, he'd only be able to hop. It didn't matter much to him, though. He didn't need to hop all that much. So now he swung his sword and the body that was stuck on the sword, around. He hoped that he would kill a few scorpions with his attempt at waving around like an idiot.

Soujirou smiled as he noticed that the numbers of scorpions were declining ever so slightly. He knew that it would take a lot more to kill the rest of them, though. So he buckled down so to speak, and got ready for the next wave of scorpions to approach to him.
"SWING!" He exclaimed as he swung his sword at the oncoming scorpions. The body that was stuck to his sword, flew off and went into the mob of scorpions. "That should kill a few..." He said to himself. With the scorpions disoriented, he made his next move. He lunged forward and swung down like a pendulum, cutting off a scorpion's head.
He front flipped to land behind the scorpions and then quickly turned. Before the other scorpions could turn, he quickly preformed a random stabbing motion, cutting off a scorpion's tail. "Man, I should be an acrobat when I grow up!" He laughed. "Well then. I shall now...wait." Of course, he only needed to wait for about a second, as the scorpions were quick turners.
This time, he waited for the scorpions to come to him. And that's exactly what they did. One scorpion lunged at his face. Pretty quickly, too. So quickly, that he didn't have time to dodge. So, he...held his blade vertically in front of his chest and face. The scorpion landed right in the middle of the blade, cutting itself in half. "Now, who's next?" He went into his fighting stance.

"Hyu~" Soujirou mock whistled, as he saw the amount of hollows that him and his friend were killing. "Wow. This is easier than...something that's easy!" He exclaimed. He leaned back against one of the walls, waiting for more scorpions to approach him. He noticed that the time it took for each "wave" to come became a little bit slower. Not even by a second, but it was noticeable enough for him to notice.
"Oh? They're finally here?" He said cockily as he pushed himself off of the wall. He casually swung his sword down once, to "aggro" the scorpions. It worked, needless to say. They slowly scuttled at him. Once one got within his range, he quickly made a move, he lunged forward and stabbed one of the scorpions. While the scorpion was still stuck on his sword, he made a sweeping motion with it, making the others slam against the walls. Then he threw the body stuck on his sword into a scorpion that was stuck on the wall, effectively killing it. "Alright then." He smirked and looked around for the other scorpions.
They slowly made their way back to him, and they were more pissed than ever. Which made Soujirou smile. Now he would have a challenge. He crouched down low, and started to swing wildly at the scorpions that were charging him.

((My computer is always having problems. Well, I need to play the catch up game.))
The young Raven was impressed of how fast and strong the two were. Meluk considered Ky's words but he really didn't have anything else to show him new. He might as well, do the same thing. The young Raven lifted his left hand high into the air, and as he did so small lighting particles began to form. In reality, he was using transformation alchemy.
"I guess it’s my turn to play with insects." Meluk said in playful tone of voice.
And with those words, he slapped his hand into the wall. As the scorpions came at him, the wall began to transform in to barrier, smashing the scorpions into pancakes. Meluk began to walk forward to see his alchemy didn't last long enough.
"That’s how you do it." Meluk said in confident tone of voice.

Soujirou noticed that the other man was finally getting it into gear. As he observed the man fight, his jaw dropped. "The wall...fell on them!" He exclaimed with the slightest hint of shock in his voice. That only lasted for half a second though, because he heard the scorpions approach.
"My lord, your monster; the scorpions approach!" He joked to himself. He sprinted forward, swinging his blade left to right, in a sideways 8 motion. "Kukukukuku~" He laughed maniacally.
About two seconds later, he skid to a stop. Stirring up a lot of dust in the area that he was at. He flailed around so that he wouldn't inhale any of the dust. He coughed once or twice, indicating that a little bit got caught up in his nose and throat. Other than that though, he was perfectly fine. In his definition of fine, anyways.
When the dust cleared, he saw that at least one of the scorpions were dead. "Alright. That's good." He said to himself. "I need to clear out the rest of these though, so more can start coming." He lunged forward and striked.

He stopped himself again, so that he could turn around and see the "devastation" that he had just caused upon the ranks of the scorpion hollows. He smiled. "Not bad. Not good, but I'm fine with it." He said casually as the ones that survived were scuttling towards him. "I wonder why it's called scuttling, anyways. I mean, it makes sort of a scratching or shuffling noise. Not scuttling..." He said to himself.
"Well then again, scratching could be interpreted as scuttling..." He debated with himself as the scorpions got nearer and nearer. "Buuut..." Once he realized that the scorpions were within his range, he decided to stop talking for a while. He silently arranged himself into a fighting position, and arched his back a little bit so that he could get at the little things better.
Hiss! A scorpion lunged at him. He quickly swung his blade sideways, swatting the scorpion aside. Before another one could move, he striked. He stabbed one in the face, jumped up and stomped another one in the face, and finally grabbed a third one by the tail and bashed it against a wall. And the rest of them? He took them out one by one.

Soujirou realized that the last two that he attacked weren't dead, so they rejoined the small army that was approaching him. "Right. Next time, make sure they're dead before trying to do something else..." He thought aloud, as a mental note. There was no way that he could dodge all of these scorpions, so he decided to do something much more...primative.
"BLITZKRIEG TACTIC THAT I JUST THOUGHT OF A SECOND AGO!" He concentrated reiatsu into his legs and arms, protecting them a little bit. Most importantly though, his strength and speed was greatly improved. And he needed that to save himself and to kill these hollows.
He jumped back and attached himself to a wall with just his feet. Which forced the scorpions to come after him. While they were slowly scuttling towards him, he launched himself off of the wall. He landed on the opposite wall, a little bit higher than he was on the first wall. He jumped again and went even higher. He continued to do so, until he was all the way on top of the ceiling.
He sheathed his sword, and positioned himself in the middle of the scorpion horde. "Alright...I have one chance!" He said to himself while he squinted his right eye closed so that he could concentrate well. "Must...hit...center..." He mumbled to himself. Which is why he waited for the scorpion horde to stop moving.
He straightened his arms all the way, pointing down right at the scorpions. "Hitsugaya Blitz!" He yelled. Then, he launched himself off of the ceiling like a missile.
