“Riku? Why? Were you shooting at him?” Sora asked defensively, his eyes narrowing. No matter what the cause, he would come to his friend’s defense in an argument. Well, for the most part. He and Riku had been pure enemies at Hallow Bastion. But Riku had repented and he was better now, right? Sora fought down the rising panic. Inuyasha sniffed in the air, but without a trail he doubted he could locate Riku.
“Idiots.” Vegeta muttered, slowly lowering himself back to the ground. Could none of them sense power levels? The boy, Riku, must have had the highest power level in this place. Vegeta could read it clearly, and if he knew the layout of the house, would have been able to tell them exactly where the boy was. He didn’t know these people, but they seemed wrapped up in their own drama. “They’re down low. Below ground level, it seems.”

"Yea when sombody tries to kill me I normal shoot at them." Rei growled she then looked to vegeta "How far below ground level? one, two or three levels?" There were only three levels below ground they could go.

Vegeta grumbled something under his breath and looked to the side. He didn’t want to be a part of this, he wanted to go back home. Then again, these fighters might be a good challenge for him. And it would be better than having to put up with Kakarot’s spawn. “Just one.”
“Riku tried to kill you?” Sora asked, in disbelief. “No! No way! I don’t believe that.” Inuyasha had a grave look on his face. Clearly he did believe it. “Riku doesn’t do things like that. He wouldn’t. Not anymore. You’re lying!”
“I doubt she is.” Inuyasha said quietly to Sora. He then looked around. “Ryou’s with him, too, I suppose?” This situation was becoming dangerous. He liked it. It was better than the normal boringness. He flashed a grin. “This is fun. Let’s go find them and beat Riku up.” He never liked the teen. He was just a tad too evil for Inuyasha. In a bad, cruel way. In a way that reminded Inuyasha of some of the villains he had met.

"Thanks" Rei said to vegeta and ran out of the room twards the elevator.
"Hey come back here! You need to be resting!" Sylvia yelled running after her.

Inuyasha and Sora hurried along as well. Sora was most concerned for Riku, and used his gliding ability to shoot out a window. He let himself fall to the ground, and then recovered himself by using glide a few feet up. He landed easily, then dashed back into the house and used the stairs to go down. He didn't want to wait for any elevator.
"Rei, this is probably a bad idea." Inuyasha couldn't help but agree with Sylvia. "You say Riku already tried to hurt you. If someone like him is in a sour mood, he might try again. Me and Sora can handle him." He could easily keep up with the two humans-- he could go faster than them, even, but he slowed his pace down to talk. He stopped in front of the elevaotr and spread his arms to block the way. "Honestly, if you go down there, you'll just be in our way. You'll just be another target Riku could use, another distraction." It was never a good idea to have non-fighters just hanging around a serious fight.

"No Inuyasha I am HEY!" Rei yelled as sylvia scooped her up bridal style.
"Sorry rei your not going anywhere. Let them fight." Sylvia said.
"Put me down dammit I can fight perfectly well!"
"Oh yes your cracked ribs show that perfectly well." Sylvia said "Inuyasha you go ahead. I'll keep rei here." Sylvia smiled.

"You just can't fight on our level." Inuyasha said, with a slightly apologetic look at Rei. He didn't like to use the elevator, it took too long to just wait around. Especially when htere was someplace he needed to be. He headed for the stairs, bouncing down them effortlessly. Vegeta silently approached the two girls, his arms crossed over his chest, not commenting on the events.

After muttering some choice words rei was sat down on her feet. Crossing her armsshe looked over to vegeta "Want a tour of the house?" She offered trying her best to sound polite...Which wasent really working. She sounded more pissed off then polite.

Vegeta smirked slightly at this human. She needed to learn to control her emotions better. "No. I don't intend on staying here long." But he did have a bad feeling in his gut-- he was usually able to sense strong power levels from around the world if he focused enough, and he had been focusing hard for a long time now. He couldn't sense Piccolo, much less his wife. Where were they?
Mikuru had glanced out the kitchen window when she suddenly saw Sora plummeting down. She let out a little shriek and had run to the front door to see if he was all right. He had flung the door open and, completely ignoring her, bolted down the stairs. He wasn't even marked. A few seconds later, Inuyasha vanished down the stairs as well. Mikuru went to the staircase, peering down. She could hear muffled shouts, but couldn't make out any words. What on earth was going on, she wondered. Hadn't Sora and Inuyasha just gone running upstairs not too long ago?

Rei couldent help but chuckle at his comment "Suure" She said walking down the hall her hands shoved in her pockets. She was still nervous about ryou.
"I really don't think anybody planned on being here in the first place" Kira commented before following rei to make sure she staid out of trouble.

Vegeta tilted his head a little as the biggest ki abruptly went out. Hmm... That was the white-haired teenager, right? Vegeta couldn't be bothered to remember which one was which. He was either unconscious or dead. And from his judgement on this group of people, it probably meant unconscious. With a snort, Vegeta crossed his arms over his chest and leaned against a wall, shutting his eyes.
"Why would you do that?!" Sora demanded, glaring at Inuyasha. "I still needed to talk to him. You can't just knock people out! I need to talk to him!" Sora's voice was rising and falling with his panic. He had seen the look in Riku's eyes, and was afraid that he was evil again. No, no, he didn't want Riku to be evil.
"I had to." Inuyasha said simply, picking up Riku's unconscious body and slinging it over one shoulder. He glanced at Bakura, who was relatively unharmed, and standing a few feet away. Unharmed meaning that, besides the bruises around his throat and a gash on the back of his head, nothing was wrong at all. "You okay to come upstairs? What did Riku even want with you?"
Bakura ignored the second question and just nodded. "I can walk. I'm not helpless." He growled. Just because he wasn't good with physical fighting didn't mean he was weak. But he swayed slightly when he took a step, and Sora grabbed his arm. Bakura accepted the help, grudgingly. Inuyasha, with Riku tossed over his shoulder, headed up the stairs. Sora helped Bakura up, warily watching Inuyasha and his best friend. At the top of the stairs, Mikuru was waiting anxiously, and wanted to know what had just happened. Bakura snarled at her and she backed off, looking terrified.

Rei was walking down the stairs,taking two at a time. Aftera moment she pulled herself up on the railing and just slid herself down to the first floor.

Sora and Inuyasha both looked up when Rei came sailing down. "No extra damage has been done." Inuyasha reported cheerfully. "Bakura says he hit his head after Riku tackled him down, and it's bleeding, but it should be fine." He went to a nearby couch-- they seemed to be everywhere-- and tossed Riku onto it. "I just knocked him out."

"I'll grab a first aid kit" Rei said as she hopped off the railing. She turned to head into the kicthen. She was relived to see that he was ok.

"If we just wait for Riku to wake up, he can produce a potion." Sora said angrily. For some reason, his Cure magic didn't work too well on Bakura. He remembered when Riku had first appeared, and Bakura had been hurt, Curaga had done very little to help.
