Echo reflexes made her hand grab Miguel's throat. It was a weak grip, but she held it.

Miguel smirked a bit. he rose a little more, so his chest and arms were above ground. he grabbed her wrist in with one hand. "well... i guess you hate me still..." he paused for effect, "even while im attempting to protect you and your friend here," he paused slightly, "from my ally, by the way." that last part was almost a whisper.

Echo whimpered as her now red eyes stared at him. Her hand released his throat. She couldn't hold on even if she wanted to. She simply lacked the strength.

Miguel smirked, "thank you." he cracked his neck a bit. he held up his left hand slightly, and it glowed faintly. he could easily switch from healing to attacking like this. he hoped she knew that. "need some healing...?" he paused, "i think i still owe you one..." he didnt really know whether he did or not, but doing this, in his mind, would make him feel like everything, that means every single thing that happened between them two, had no bearing other than honor. he could handle honor.

Echo's red eyes dipped into a darker shade, but she stayed still. She gritted her teeth, Why...can't I kill you....

Miguel retracted his hand. it stopped glowing. "it was just a question..." he slid back, still halfway underground, about a foot. "you couldve just said no..." he had noticed her jaw tense up, and realized it was probably anger at him. he wasnt going to make this any worse.

Miguel moved forward an inch or two. he noticed she was in pain, a lot of pain. "cmon... just let me heal you."

Echo growled once more, but then silenced and layed still. She closed her eyes and continued to lay with her stomach up, as a sign of surrender.

Miguel nodded. he knew enough about werewolves to know what she meant. he moved a bit closer, and his hand started to glow again. he held id up to her, and energy started to transfer to her, healing her. he smirked again. "just dont curl u..." he paused, "around my hand again." he was careful not to use any words that would signify any kind of affection.

Miguel took a few seconds to rack his mind. a small grin, a slightly evil one, came onto his face. "oh... that." he shook his head, in disagreement with what she was probably thinking, "incentive." he stopped, then quickly added, "to chase me. remember, you asked."
