Lily just nodded again and carefully picked up the syringe. Even though she had bitten kir and sucked his blood before, the thought of stabbing him with a needle freaked her out. She carefully brought it close to his arm and stuck it in. Then she injected a small amount of the drug before pulling it out.

Mat kept watching. he looked up at Lily, thinking she looked pretty. looking back to Kir, Mat wasnt sure what to do now. they didnt seem like the sort to send him back, and Bradley seemed to know him...

A few seconds later Kir's muscles began to relax, "There we go. That's better," Bradley said and looked to Lily, "Sorry I made you do that," He said, "That should make him pretty comfortable now. Could you help sit him up again? I need to bandage his back."

"yes," Lily replied, putting the syringe back on the table and then pulled Kir into a sitting position.

While Lily held Kir up, Bradley wrapped the bandages around Kir's torso and over the wound in his back. He stuffed some cloth in the wound to soak up any blood and used the bandages to keep it in place, "That should do it," He said and helped Lily lay him down again.

"Even if he's a Vampire, it would take a few months," Bradley said, "Repairing will be slower now since he's missing a wing, and he'll probably get sick more often too..."

"He could wake up at anytime now," Bradley said, "The crystallis won't be doing much though."
Right when he said it Kir flinched and tried to wake up.

Mat kept watching, not saying anything. he was sure now, that here was better than the academy, and better than running. at least he didnt hurt his feet on sharp rocks or thorns here.

Lily looked down at Kir when he flinched and watched to see if he was going to wake up.

Kir's eye opened. He looked stunned for a moment before regaining his senses again. The first thing he tried to do was sit up.

Mat looked at Kir, and sort of backed away a little. he was freaked. somehow, he could sense the immense power locked away in kir... and something else locked away as well. he could almost see the first escape kir made... and rick's infection... all from Kir's viewpoint... shaking his head, the images went away, and Mat dismissed them as imaginary.

"...?" Kir looked at the people in the room and then confusion set in. Who were these people? He remembered some of the targets, and that special one was there, but who were the others? He shuffled away from them while sitting on the bed.
"Kir calm down," Bradley tried to relax Kir.

Altair relaxed and smiled when Kir was coming too. but when he started to freak out like some one waking from a coma that now has amnesia, Altair tried to react as calmly as possible. "Kir, it's me, Altair. we met at Snow Peaks, remember??" he said. he then pulled out a paper crane that Kir made for him. "you made this for me, and another, we had such fun together, remember then??" he asked, knowing that he would not be able to hear Kir reply.
