Pixie paused in thought. "Well I don't have a computer... it sorta broke when I was moving, and everyone else I can think of with a good computer want to throw me in jail." She frowned, "Maybe an internet cafe?"

BLACK WIDOW
Natalia Alianovna Romanova Natalia smiled at him. "I am sure between the two of us we can find a computer at an internet cafe, just got to convince the owner to let us borrow it for a while....that also makes it untraceable." She smiled wide. "So...your my tour guide why don't you show me the sites...and maybe we can stop for a coffee or something..." She said with a laugh.

[Since Scarecrow’s out, we’ll say that all of the civilians are back to normal and no longer attacking the heros. Incredibly sick, but back to normal]
Reaper had started to head back towards Gotham, but the current fight had caught his attention as well, so he found a nice dark alley to stand and watch safely.

ENTER from Gotham
Gold Star appeared high above the city and looked around. Plenty going on, but they were all too strong for her to try and kill. Or slice up. She only needed a bit of blood after all. After a moment, her eyes fell on someone in a yellow costume a good bit away from the rest of the costumed folk. That should do it. She smiled a bit and pulled Reaper’s dagger out of her pouch, gripped her scythe, then vanished. A few seconds later, she re-appeared in front of the man in yellow. She looked at him a moment, then smiled. ”Shocker, right?”

Shocker had been making his way away from the city though the alleys when a girl suddenly appeared in front of him. He took a step back and looked her up and down a moment. ”Yeah, and who are you?” Her outfit, she had to be a super or someone pretending to be. Knife in her hand, but that was nothing for him to disarm.

”I’m Gold Star.” she replied, then stared at him a moment. ”Oooh…all those memories, you’re definitely not a good guy. Perfect. Maybe they’ll look at this as a good thing.” she said as she tightened her grip on the dagger in her hand and readied the scythe in her other. ”If I take out a bad guy, maybe the good guys won’t mind. Of course, all I need is a little bit of blood. So if you don’t want me to kill you, just hold your arm out and I’ll just give you a quick but deep cut.”

”You think so? Kid, do you have any idea who you’re talking to?” Shocker said as he aimed both gauntlets at the girl, ready to blast her smug little head off.

”Of course. You’re the guy that tangles with that blue and red spider.” she replied, then paused a moment. ”Oh, love the gauntlets. Bet if I customized them a bit, they’d be awesome with my armor. And since you’re aiming at me rather than just holding out your arm, I’ll take that as a sign that you’re not going go easy? Are you?” Star said.

”That would be a yes.” Shocker replied, sending a vibro blast at her. He didn’t use full power on her, he didn’t need to waste it on this brat.

Gold star suddenly vanished and appeared behind Shocker, missing the blast entirely. ”I can teleport, by the way.” she said with a small tisk. ”I can also do this.” she said, then her eyes began to glow gold in the dark alley. As she had told Sapphire, her telepathy gave her a few other abilities, though she rarely used them. She’d make an exception here. She wrapped a telepathic and telekinetic hold around the nerves in his brain that made him feel pain, as well as any movement he had to his arms and legs.

”Wh-what the he-” Shocker started, realizing that he couldn’t move.
”Don’t worry. I’m wanting to kind of prove to my meme that I can be a good girl. So I’m going to go with the humane psychopath approach for a while.” she said, then telekinetically tossed the man on the ground and froze him there. She moved so that she was standing directly over top of him. The dark alley mixed with the light coming from the street behind her cast a chilling shadow over her face. Her gold eyes were still glowing, but there was something very dark to them now. There also seemed to be something sparkling in the air around her head. During the day, they were quite hard to see, as well as the constant glow of the city streets even at night. But there was a reason she called herself Gold Star, that could usually only be seen in the dark. ”You won’t feel a thing.” she said quietly. ”Oh, and don’t feel bad about this. You might be a super villian or what-not, but I’m telekinetic, telepathic, can teleport, blah blah blah. You couldn’t do much if I actually cheated like this.” She paused a moment, then pulled the mask part of her costume down off of her face to reveal her dark little grin. ”I really do like your gauntlets.” she said, then slid the mask back over her mouth and nose, then slid her hood over her curly black hair to finish cloaking her face. She used one last bit of mixed telekinesis on him to silence him from drawing attention from the heros to his spot. She drew the dagger up, then came straight down on him.
A few long moments later, the soft punching sounds stopped. Another moment or two later, Star walked into the opening of the alley, sliding her new toys into her large pouch along with the ones she had stolen from that laboratory. She glanced at her hand a moment. The black cloth almost seemed darker compared to the rest. Taking a quick look at the rest of her, she found that only bits of her gold armor could be seen through the red splatters that drifted down her. Oh, she was messier than she though she’d been. She really must have been out of it. She shrugged a bit and pulled a dirty cloth out of a nearby garbage can to try and wipe the blood from her armor. She’d have to take it off and wash it later. She just needed to make it less obvious that she was covered in blood. Someone was sure to find the man, the alley was kind of in the middle of the city, and she didn’t need to be found all bloody when he was found. She took the cloth and wiped off her scythe as well, but simply wrapped the dagger in the bloodied cloth rather than wipe it off. She slid the dagger into her pocket, then pulled her cape over her shoulders to let it drape around her, just to hide herself a bit more. She glanced around a moment, then stepped out of the alley. Luckily, there weren’t anyone on the street. Must have all been with the heroes. Now to find her uncle and give him his dagger back. Star started down the street, then stopped when her eyes found a tall red-head about her age walking down the other side of the street. From tapping into the younger spider’s mind, she recognized her as the boy’s girlfriend. Her dark little smile returned and she started heading towards the girl.

(( Thank you, God! Something more Rorschach's speed to do! A new mask killer hunt! ))
The fighting stopped. The people stopped. No more anger. No more fear. No more gas. After-effects of fear toxin were overtaking the civilians like bullets overtake their victims. Waves of nausea caused vomiting. Many collapsed. Exhausted, Rorschach leaned against a building, catching breath. Recovering, he examined his victims. Same sickness as the other people, plus injuries sustained from their fights with him. Nothing fatal. He started to head towards the other creature, the one not yet taken down, when he remembered the warning earlier, to leave it to the more powerful vigilantes. With a silent sigh, he turned away from the confrontation, heading down an alley, looking for other wrong-doers. Was he really this powerless in this world? Was this Jon's way of making him retire? Wouldn't work. No choice. Had to continue. Even if what he did made no difference in the world, he had to continue. After a moment, he saw what appeared to be a small pool of red. He followed it with his eyes and saw a man, in a costume unfamiliar to him, lying dead on the ground, somewhat slumped on the side of one of the building that made up the alley. Obviously killed by stabbing. Most of the blood was missing, for some reason. Should be more. Much more. Looking around for vandals and thieves, he quickly made his way back out of the alley, and back to Spider-Man, saying, "Spider-Man, dead man in alley. In costume. I need help in identifying him."

Pixie grinned, "For sure! I always come to New York when things get too tough in Gotham!" She said cheerfully grabbing Natalia's wrist and pulling here towards a small business district. There were a few small bookstores, coffee shops and other small shops. "I think there's one around here..." She mumbled looking around the street.
Spidergirl heaved a sigh of relief once the people stopped attacking them. She heard the ink blotted masked man say something about a masked man and she hurried over to him and Spider-man. "Where is he?" She asked curious on who'd be dumb (Or smart) enough to kill someone right under the noses of all of these superheros.

[enter fron Stark]
The Crow flew over the city looking for hearts filled withe emotion. He spoted a yellow glow from some man with a spoted mask, a green glow from someone dressed in red and blue, and a blue glow frome the person next to him. He dived down at the group. He released a low hum to rattle the ground and then whent in to pick up the fearful man.

Gold Star continued straight towards the red head, but glanced back through the corner of her eye. Blast it...wasn't expecting him to be found that quick. Her cloak and hood dindn't exactly say everyday clothing either. Well, keep her mind open and she should be able to tell if someone came to confront her. Right now she had...Mary Jane was it...to contend to. As she was looking at the heros, something in the sky caught her eyes. Hm...looks like they still had some problems to deal with anyway. That superguy was still fighting that...troll thing too. They had plenty to deal with. Besides, getting the bugs girlfriend out of immediate danger would be a 'good' thing, right?
Not paying attention, she began drifting closer to the buildings beside her. A door opened from a caffe and someone stepped out. Star ran directly into them and felt hot water dump down the side of her arm. "AGH! Watch it, idiot!" she hissed, suddenly moving her scythe into an attack position with the arm that hadn't been burned. She went to look up at them, but her reflection in the glass caught her eye. Cloak was filthy. Did she even have blood on her face? And from what she could see of her hair...uck.
The man, judging from how deep his sigh sounded, side stepped her and started to pass her. Star's mind snapped back to what she had been doing and spun around to face him. "Hey! I'm not done with you! I think you owe me an appology and dry cleaning!" she growled.
The man, wearing all black and a bulky black leather jacket, paused a moment, but didn't look at her. Though he may have been, but his hood with that thick rim of fur around it hid everything from the nose up. "You were the one who wasn't paying attention." he replied. "I think you owe me another coffee."
"I aint paying for your da-"
"I didn't pay for it." he replied.
Star looked at him a moment, then decided to just rummage through his mind. He was a villian or some petty crook then? Whatever the case, she'll make him sorry...he...
Star stopped, and her eyes widened a bit. She moved back around him to look inside the doorway that was still open. The cashier had basically fallen asleep on the stand, another worker was shouting something about hating his job and was busting up all of the machines in the back. Some of the customers were actually getting into a fist fight, a few had about a months' supply of consumables in front of them, one woman wouldn't look away from her reflection, and the other woman she was with looked beyond jealous of her.
"The ones that are fighting left their orders about two minutes after I walked in. They weren't going to drink them, so I simply took one so it didn't go to waste. Lot of good that did."
Star looked back at the man again, then shook her head and looked back at him angry again. "Well...I'm still not getting you another coffee. There are about ten of them in there that haven't been touched. Get it yourself." she hissed.
The man sighed and turned to walk away. "I had it half gone anyway. Your bangs are uneven by the way." he said as he walked off.
Star gasped slightly and turned back to her reflection. Wait...no they weren't. Why that... "HEY!" she shouted as she slammed the door so she could see him. But...he was gone. Completely.
