Rajei couldn't nod but if she could she would have. She looked a little angry with Aozora but wouldn't consider voicing her anger. She was not going to talk for fear of screaming again.

Aozora looked down at Kai again, "I swear...This is the reason why I hate people so much. They won't stop doubting you. I know what I'm doing damn it. Stop harping on the worst case when it won't happen," She swore again and then put her hand on Kai's chest. She closed her eyes and focused her magic, causing the air to become more gaseous again and allowing Rajei to move.

Rajei kept standing there silently. She glared at Aozora and then looked at Kai, her look softening. She still didn't move, although she could.

Aozora kept her focus.
OVer Kai's chest a black sphere of evil energy formed, encased by some kind of glass substance that appeared out of nowhere.

Rajei stood by silently, praying that he would be okay and that nothing bad would happen.

"...There," Aozora said and leaned back, finished, "I delicately severed his connection with Yami, which actually was much easier than I thought it would be since Yami had already partially cut ties. And I drained this nasty aura that was in Kai," Aozora stood up with the sphere.

Rajei nodded a little. She looked down, upset and a little ashamed. Aozora had been able to help Kai when Rajei had just panicked and gotten emotional. It didn't make it any easier for her when Aozora was, in Rajei's mind, bragging about how she had helped Kai.

Rajei looked down. She didn't know what to do. It was her duty to take Kai back but she felt terrible and wanted Kai to be with someone that could take care of him better than she could. She didn't answer.

Aozora looked at her sharply, "Be selfish. Your life is on the line now. It's better if you made sure he will be fine now. If he dies, I will still carry on with my life. You and Rei on the other hand will not. Believe it or not, but he depends on you."

"What could happen?" Rajei asked. "What's the chance of him dying?" She knew Aozora could take care of him but didn't want to leave him.

"Well, he has the same chance of dying as a human does," Aozora said simply, "Physically there is no change in him, so there shouldn't be any problems now."

Rajei nodded a little. She thought it over for a minute and decided she could trust herself, Tabris, and Rei since they were motivated to keep him alive. She decided she couldn't trust Aozora. "I'll take him back with me," she said.
