When Rue stood, his eyes were empty. He walked quietly with him.

Marius led Rue back and sat him down when they got back to camp. Marius then went into the tent to talk to Adele.

Rue hardly moved when he sat down.

After a few minutes of yelling and fighting, Adele came out of the tent. Marius shoved her forward to talk to Rue.
"…Rue?" Adele asked as she moved closer to him.

Rue flinched occasionally when the siblings fought. He was still again when the fighting ended and they were coming over to him.

"I wouldn't have died," Adele said. "But…should I ever be in danger again…disregard any orders that would prevent you from helping me and…come to save me…" It was rather clear that Marius had said something that made her say this, but she meant it.
