Edith had forgotten just how much Reno had actually cared for her, how he had confessed his love to her in public and now she felt absolutely terrible. When he wrapped his arms around her, she felt comforted and yet she felt awkward. "I did not think that you were that friggin' serious." She said with a chortle. "No, I won't run away. Not unless you try to sing while you're drunk or something." She smiled, hiding all of her uncertainty.

Tokeru returned to the chapterhouse, going through the private door he made himself, only unlockable to him, and went straight for the infirmary. He gave the scientists to the doctors and told them to make sure he survived.
"I will personally hold you all responsible if this man dies. You will never be able to work again. YOu will starve and so will your families. So you better damn well make sure this man lives, or it's your asses on the line."
Without another word, he strode off to vent some anger.
On his way to the training dojo, he heard Edith's voice. He felt guilty at having left her like that, and wanted to apologize. He turned the corner and opened his mouth to apologize, only to find her laughing and holding Reno.
He was immediatly flooded with jealousy and anger, and without a sound turned around, his wings whistling slightly as he turned. He almost walked into the corner, and almost cursed, but caught himself and continued walking, taking a roundabout route towards the dojo.

Edith had no idea that Tokeru had come back nearly empty-handed from his search for Draegan, she did not even know that he was back, and she certainly was not aware that he had seen Reno hugging her. However, her minorly untrained empathetic brain was able to detect Tokeru's jeaslousy though she could not pin-point whom it was from. At first, she thought it was from Reno, but it could not have been? Was there something there to make him jealous? No, not from what she'd seen.
"Reno," she said, pulling out of his embrace gently, "I have to hurry. Will's having his wedding and I'm missing it to come back here and get a damned dress." Edith was not the greatest with her manners and she quickly ran off to go get her dress on. "Sorry," she said with a chortle as she ran, "I lied Reno. I'm running away again, I gotta get my damned dress on. Feel free to stay here and come attend the ceremony with me!"

Once Tokeru reached the dojo, he meditated to calm his anger. It worked, he forgot all about Edith and Reno, but he could not forget about Draegan. There was no way that he could work out his frustrations by meditating, and so he started to beat the living sawdust out of a training dummy, slowly but surely pounding it into a small pile of compressed wood.

Edith rushed, prepared to completely overlook the dojo until she heard someone beating the s**t out of something. When she heard splintering wood she grew a little concerned, wondering if someone had been harmed, if they had gotten splinters in their fist, their eye, etc. So she simply stopped and decided to go check things out to make sure everything was okay, even if someone would likely shout if they had gotten hurt. She entered the dojo and found the source of the splintering sound, it was Tokeru beating the crap out of a dummie.
"Nice job there," she said, crossing her arms, leaning against the wall, "you abuse dummies often? You like beating up on poor helpless wooden figurines then replacing them with an exact replica in their place? How do you think that makes them feel? Goddamnit Tokeru." She expertly upheld her cool demenour, letting a small smile crease her lips.

Tokeru stopped and shuddered when he heard Edith talk to him. He struggled to compose himself, and failed. "I can't help it, I can't. Draegan is always one step ahead of me, he's always once step further than i can reach, and I can't do anything to stop him. I can't do anything, I'm helpless against him and i hate myself for it. I hate myself, but I hate him more. If I could, i would spend my entire life hunting him down, I would spend every waking moment, and it wouldn't be enough. HE KILLED MY ******** FAMILY. How can i let that pass and forget about it."
Tokeru clenched his fists and slumped to the ground, whether it was in anger or sadness, not even he could tell "I just, I feel so helpless."

After Bridget and Sanchez got back to the Chapter House they went thru security and went down to the second level of the base and straight to thier rooms to get some sleep. Both slept until about ten in the morning...
they got up and got a shower and went for breakfast. Bridget briefly wondered if Reno was still sleeping it off or up already.
Bridget's enhanced healing had healed her perforated eardrum and she was able to hear clearly again. She was a bit stiff and sore .... nothing that wouldn't be gone in a couple of hours; hell she didn't even have a hang-over. The same couldn't be said for Sanchez but the shower woke him up and helped ease the hang-over... still he prefered the quiet over any noise and his stomache was still a little queasy. They went into the cafeteria and
had a breakfast.... Coffee and toast for Sanchez and French toast and eggs
for Bridget. "We'll wait awhile for you to feel better before hand -to-hand
training ....If you are still hung-over I'm sure I can find a partner or at least practice my katas." All Sanchez gave Bridget a half smile and continued to sip his coffee.

After letting Eden go Reno decided this time to follow her.He kept out of sight and was a quiet as a mouse.He stopped right near the training room where Eden and Tokeru were."Hmmm,what is this?"He said as he listened in on them.He knew it was probly nothing but after hearing Tokeru shout he couldnt help but be curiouse.

Bridget was in the dojo working on her 'Wing Chun' skills and shattered
boards with her strikes of her hands, knees and elbows.... the trick was she was delivering the blows from a distance of 3-4 inches from her target.
Next Bridget went over to where there were stone slabs and wound up with a stack of stones. She concentrated then struck with an open palm
sharttering the 4th slab; Bridget continued this over and over til only the top slab remained. That slab she launched it into the air and as it came down Bridget did a spinning round-house kick and shattered it.
She slowed down enough to douse herself with water and dried herself and
began again this time using her 'Eagle Claw' techniqes on dummies wearing body armor.

"Hey hey hey," she said, putting her hands up, leaving the wall, "it's fine, it's okay. One day or another he's going to make a mistake and you'll kick his ******** a** for it. Just wait for that moment. I waited over five years before I found William after he seemingly disappeared. I was the only one who believed that he was still alive." She did not like telling about her teenage years but it was in hopes of comforting Tokeru. She was not the greatest at comforting people.
"Speaking of William," she said quickly, "that's the reason why I'm here and I really gotta hustle my a**. I'll be back later, see you then!" She zipped from the room to go and get her dress, nearly knocking Reno over again. "Damnit Reno," she teased, "stop standing in my way!" She chortled and headed off to her room to change.

"I wish i could believe that, but i've already been waiting for 15 years, and he hasn't made a mistake."
Tokeru got up after Edith left, and broke the dummy, slamming it with his fist and it exploded in a shower of splinters and dust.
Still full of anger, he needed something to leech it away from him, he needed something to draw away the anger, but only killing Draegan could fix it. He was back, and Tokeru needed to kill him before he could even think of resting.

Rerno again followed Eden and saw where her room was.He stood just outside of it with a small box in his hand.He tossed it in the air ccatching it as it came down."Damn, I hope I can do this without choking."

Edith had gotten to her room this time, thank the Lord there had been no further distractions. She was concerned about Tokeru but she was not sure how to help him at all. When she had been searching for William nothing had helped to soothe her except for when she had finally found him by complete accident. As she slipped her t-shirt, jack, and skirt off, she thought about such things. She then put on her emerald green dress. It was made of silk and it travelled down so that it was reached almost all the way to the floor, a slit in it up to her waist on the right side. It had black lace around the bottom hem of the dress and it was a halter-like dress so it was tied around her neck.
Her cross went well with her dress so she left it on and she had a single silver hoop earring in her left ear. She brought her hair down out of it's usual ponytail and quickly curled it. She then rushed off, still in her boots that Tokeru had given her, forgetting to change them. "Goddamnit," she said to herself as she rushed, "this thing's terrible."

Tokeru walked to Edith's room, he wanted to apoloize for earlier, and tell her where he was going. When he got there, he found a curious sight, there was Reno there, clutching a small box, that looked like it held a ring.
"Reno? What are you doing here."
