((Thanks Panpear! And Kikiama, I'll take you up on your suggestion for later wink ))

Will was still getting a grasp on the many students and appearances. He had been to class for a day, and he looked about, searching for any faces that might seem familiar... besides the headmistress, who was standing quite prominently tall with her black wavy hair.

Among the students, he noticed a girl with long brown wavy hair and green eyes. Will thought for a moment and studied her. He was sure that he had shared at least a class with her. The anatomy class wasn't quite a big class, and if his memory was correct, she was also in the class.

The musician shook his head. In the midst of the chaos, the boy decided that perhaps, it would be best to consult the headmistress. He slowly made his way toward the lady, squeezing in between the masses and suffering a few suffocating situations on the way. Finally reaching the black haired lady, Will sighed. "Ah, Headmistress Kinley. I wasn't mentioned in the team listings. Am I a part of a group?" he inquired with a raised eyebrow.

Sarah looked over Will for a moment, and then she looked apologetic. "I am very sorry, Will. I hadn't added you to the list yet, but of course you're in a group!" she smiled and set a hand on his shoulder as she looked around. Glancing to him for a moment, she pointed to a group. "That's group two. You'll be in with them." she murmured. "We're just talking about ourselves right now, so relax." there was someone trying to catch her attention, so she patted Will's shoulder. "Your team mates are Lite, Sam, and recently arrived Kazuko." she murmured, before returning her attention to the other student. So many questions!

Amazed with her ability to breathe underwater, Lite found a queer attraction to this girl as her powers dealt directly with water. His surfboard in hand, he had a mind to ask her about accompanying him for surfing whenever they had time, though he had no intention of going past friends, his thoughts returned to the headmistresses. He was kind of shocked when his introduction was glossed over. "I thought I had the first introduction, oh well." Lite lifted himself in the air, suppressing it underneath his feet and then enshrouded himself in smoke. "See? I smoke and can kind of manipulate the air around us." He spoke from his self-made cloud, and decided to stay there for a while. "Back in the Mediterranean region where I'm from everyone calls me Smokey."

"Oregon," Sam mused. "I've been there a few times. What part of Oregon are you from?"

"As for myself... I'm from Northern California. My parents are Irish. Nothing too special. I'm your typical writer, with notebooks and pieces of paper full of poems, snippets of text, and whatnot."

(( Gomenasai Mal, Kiki, Goosey ))

"Yeah, ve are room mates." Sergey said with a frown and then a shrug. "Ve vill just talk about things vhen ve are there." When Mal suggested following Tess to the beach he nodded and waited for the Headmistress to be distracted before he motioned to Mal to sneak away. Granted he was large, and brightly colored which made it harder to sneak, but he managed to slip away from everyone and head off to the beach where Tess was.

Arkell felt the calm wash over her, and her shoulders relaxed. She almost didn't catch what Logan said about sitting in the shade. She blinked and then quickly caught up and sat down as Logan began to give his short biography, which was then followed by Marie. Arkell sat and looked at them with a little amazed face. "Wow...you guys have been to some really cool places! I envy you...Well, I'm from Chicago, and I've been in choir since I was a little girl. My parents are extremely ordinary and supportive, and we have a pet corgi named Jorge. Um....and I guess I'm in the same boat as you guys about a bad experience about discovering my mutation..." She almost didn't want to say anything about what had happened, since neither of them had, but she decided that it might be a good idea to give an explanation as to why things were a little difficult (especially around people). "I, uh, I have a tendency to 'combust' when my emotions get out of control to major extremes, and I'm very nervous in nature..." her hand reached up and began to itch at her arm to prove this as she refused to look at either of them and instead focused on the ground or the tree that they were resting under. "My music teacher had asked me to do a solo at our winter chorus recital, and when I got up infront of everyone under the lights, I was so nervous and scared that I....I combusted....but not like I do now, since the fire in my body had been building up and up inside of me and had never been released I......the explosion was huge..." she finished rather lamely, though she could feel her gut clench as she had finally said it. She felt better, but still scared, not knowing if they would say anything to that, or share there own story now.

((Looks like new person is joining your group, Panpear! xd ))

Will thanked the headmistress as she seemed ot be quite busy with all the students milling around with questions. The blonde followed where the headmistress had pointed. To his amusement, there was a cloud of smoke. "Lite, Sam, and recently arrived Kazuko," Will repeated. Well, I'm not the only recently arrived...yay. The girl next to the smoke was...taller than he was and scaly. This was going to be interesting.

The boy made his way through the crowd yet again. The other member, not the cloud of smoke, seemed familiar. Perhaps, he had been in the same class as him sometime. How ever more interesting it was going to be to guess their names. Kazuko must be Japanese. Lite and Sam could also be female names.

He arrived in time to hear Sam reply to the other two. Will placed himself so that he was visible to the others and raised an eyebrow as he randomly pointed to the three of them and generated one of the three names. Perhaps, if he was lucky, he'd get one right. "Kazuko?" he said pointing to the cloud of smoke. "Sam," he mumbled gesturing to Kazuko, being thrown off by the blueness of her from seeing the Japanese heritage immediately, and finally, "Lite for the highlights in your hair?" he declared at a loss. Geez, it wasn't that hard. Or was it?

Sam chuckled at the new arrival. He didn't get a single name right! "Not even close," he answered with a smile. "I'm Sam. The man in the cloud is Lite. The young lady here--" He indicated the proper person. "--is Kazuko. Now, then, what might your name be? I'm assuming you're part of our humble team?"

The one who had identified himself as Sam had chuckled. No wonder. The wonderful Will had gotten absolutely none of the names correct. Apparently, it was harder than he had surmised, or just bad luck on his part. Will frowned slightly. "Heh. How I managed to make those mistakes? Hmm.. don't ask." Will sighed. "Well..." He bowed. "Will Descythe at your service for the humble team!"

Alwyn continued to search the crowd for the new team mate. "you see em yet" she asked harmony when it hit her that neither one of them new what their teammate looked like. :"i wonder if we shouldnt ask the headmistress to help?" she said to harmony

"Oh!" Kazuko exclaimed when Lite created a puff of smoke and started floating in it. "So that's what he meant by 'smoke'. Phew!" Aloud, she said, "That's really cool," her voice sincere. How could flying not be cool?

"Oh, I'm farther north- about an hour away from Salem," she managed to respond to Sam before the new guy showed up. She smiled slightly as he proceeded to get all of their names wrong, and then bowed to him after he finished his introduction. "Pleased to meet you, Will," she said. "We had just finished introducing ourselves, so you haven't missed much. I manipulate water, he, um, smokes-" here she gestured towards Lite- "and Sam..." Kazuko trailed off. Sam hadn't said what he did yet, so she looked at him, waiting for him to fill in the blank.

The Americans had thrust him into an outer circle as they talked about their homelands. Luckily or Lite he knew not the meaning of manners and interjected upon their discussion of something called states which was unfamiliar to him. "You guys are strange indeed. Back in Italy all we have is the country and the seas. It's so simple I doubt you wouldn't be baffled by it, not to mention the metric system." He laid his accent thickly while still in his pocketed cloud. Sitting down in the air, though no-one could see, Lite had begun making faces at each of them. "From what I've seen Sam's power is flirting." He stuck out his tongue in jest, to compliment his tone, though it was unlikely it was noticed.

Sam laughed at Lite's joke. "You're one to talk," he said with a playful grin. "Anyway, about my ability... It's a form of healing. I can transfer any non-lethal physical injury from someone's body to my own. I'm only able to use it once without getting medical treatment. It's a very costly mutation, depending on the extent of the injury. Lite, if you remember yesterday, when I told you that I was used to pain, that's what I was talking about. I discovered my power when my girlfriend back home was in an automobile accident. She was nearly dead. I transferred all of her injuries to my own body, and they had to rush me to the hospital."

"But," he said, grinning again, "enough about my tragic suffering. What's your ability, Will?"

Will smiled at Kazuko after she bowed and introduced her and Lite's powers. Well, Lite's power was indeed obvious since he was billowing smoke at the moment. Kazuko's power was interesting, though he must admit that since Sam had the surfboard, he would have assumed the Californian had the power to manipulate water.

Flirting? Will thought as Lite mentioned Sam's skill. I suppose he must be popular with the girls then. However, when he heard Sam's true skill, he was moderately surprised. "Wow," he commented. It was apparently a useful yet painful skill. Deciding against saying something sarcastic at Sam's ability, Will patted Sam and sighed as he opened his mouth to answer the question.

"I manipulate sound. I speak and things break. That's the brunt of it," the musician said. "My voice can break walls, and ..." Will's voice went down a whole octave. "...I can change my voice to something else."

Logan looked from Marie, to Arkell when each person spoke. He rested a gloved hand on Arkell's shoulder as she explained what happened when she discovered her mutation. To make her feel better, he talked about his. "I wound up in a coma for almost a month after making an outing out to the Tower. It felt like a rush, and I sat down for a bit, went and got something to eat.... next thing I knew, it was weeks later. My mum was almost in hysterics, and after a few tests with a doctor, we looked into Pacis Salus. I just got the first of many care packages I know I'm gonna be getting." he grinned a little, and then sighed.

"I suppose we're done with our bios?" he asked, remaining cheerful for the sake of his other two team mates. "What else was she going to have us do? It's hard for me to show off my mutation without blacking out, though I hope to work on that..." his voice trailed off.

Tess had loped off until he found a nice patch of beach that he could sit on and not be in view of the Training lesson going on. He found a seashell as he sat, rubbing his finger against the smooth side of it while his other arm wrapped around his knees and his tail curled around him, as well. What a stupid training idea. Talk about yourself, show off your powers, say what you want to happen. The student body shouldn't have that for a school assignment... if one wants to avoid being known, one should be able to keep silent about everything. He was rather annoyed and grumbled under his breath for a few moments.

Finally, just sighing and relaxing for a moment, he scratched at his arm for a moment, and then blinked as something felt odd about it. Now that he thought about it, he was feeling off in general. The breeze from the sea wasn't as warm as he thought it would be, and he was sweating a lot more from under his coat of fur then he had been the day before. It might've just been the time of day, but when he looked to his arm, he found a small patch of pale skin... human skin, not the skin one would find if they shaved his arms.
Suddenly rather distressed and finding that his whole body itched, Tess scratched at his arm more, more fur falling off in the process.

By the time someone found him again, he was unconscious, his body aching as bones seemed to shift, and fur falling off in clumps. A high fever was visible by the fact that almost completely furless cheeks were flushed on the human head, eyes were closed, and beads of sweat rolled down his forehead and cheeks.

Marie would have told her own story as well, but was cut off but Logan changing the subject. It was perhaps best she didn’t though. Her story was a bit more violent. She still had listened to both their stories soft eyed and patient, understanding their issues and observing they were they acted as they told their stories.

She played with a piece of grass and took a deep breath of the fresh air. “I think Arkell and I will understand if you don’t demonstrate. We have at least seen how it affects you. Arkell has seen me in action though, you haven’t Logan. But, I would need a person to use in order to show you, or I could just do it to you. It would be as affected and I wouldn’t make you do something crazy. Maybe have you stand up and walk to that tree over there,” Marie stated while lifting an arm to point out the tree. “I’m not really sure if it’s necessary.”

“As for you Arkell, I haven’t seen in real action. But I assume your fire can be dangerous. I leave it up to you want you can show knowing what you can control. Please don’t feel pressured just because the Headmistress said so.”
