Katherine followed, she was a little nervous, scenarios were alarms went off and armed mercs came after them ran through her head until she shook herself, "I wonder how the town is doing..."

Danny shook his head. "Unless people started coming back, I'd say not to well." He said as he started down the street.

Katherine bit her lip but didn't say anything. She walked a little closer to Danny as if this would offer more protection for them.

Danny looked around. For the most part the place seemed deserted, except for a few buildings. "So... where is this store?"

Katherine grabbed Danny's hand, "This way," She led him down the street, heading twords a small general store. It looked as though it had been ransacked several times over.

Danny followed her and his mouth went wide when he saw the store. "Woah."

Katherine smiled, "It used to look a lot nicer, come on." She pulled in in side carefully, waiting to see if there was anyone who'd taken up residence. Seeing no one she stepped fully in. The shelves were toppled over and broken up in several places. The counter looked as though someone had taken a sledge hammer to it she sighed and shook the images away, heading for the back, "I doubt there'll be anything up here but there might still be some stuff in the lock boxes.."

Katherine ran around, checking the back in obvious places, finding nothing she smiled and began to stomp her foot in the middle of the hall. finding a hollow sound she picked up the plank and looked inside, "ah ha!" She pulled out some things, not quiet what she was looking for but not useless, candy bars and pretzels She smiled, "But wait, there's more!" And she dashed up the stairs on her right.

Katherine began pulling up planks in the floors of the hallway and rooms, pulling out things and leaving them to grab later. She stopped at a door and hesitated, "Oh.. er.." She looked over at Danny, "I didn't tell you, sorry, I used to live here." She opened the door, "This was my room."

Katherine smiled a little sheepishly and walked in. The room was practically bare and beaten up, just like the rest of the place. She walked over to a closet and reached up into the top, sighing in relief she pulled a large box out from hiding and set it down. "This is what I was talking about." She opened it and inside, swimming in melted ice were ruffly twenty bottles of some kind of juice or other.
