"well, we're going to be in my room now" he took Nathons hand and walked back to his room after grabbing the coco butter from a shelf along the way
"ok then, I'll be right here. I'm leaving for work at 7 thought"
"ok mom" she shut and locked his door

Once he was in Makis room he couldn't move except for the shaking. He stood in the center of his room not knowing how to act anymore.

he went and picked Nathon up carefully and brought him to his bed "I'll take care of you scars now ok?" he whispered softly rubbing Nathons head softly

He nodded. Like it was a reflex he carefully took off his shirt. tears slipped down his cheeks.

he whipped them away and kissed Nathon lightly "it's ok, I'm here now"

He leaned against Maki, resting his head on his chest. He was happy to be away from home. He didn't make a sound as tears slipped down familiar paths. Thankfully the shaking started to subside. He just wanted to be close to him.

He inhaled sharply. The coco butter was cold. Soon he relaxed into Makis touch. Tears flowed freely now, but he still didn't make a sound.

He just couldn't get the echo of his fathers voice out of his head. As one of his fathers screams rang in his ears he gripped Makis shirt, his eyes wide.

He closed his eyes, trying to just keep Makis words in. He pressed himself closer to him, taking in his smell.

he kissed the top of Nathon's head lightly still rubbing his back "It's just us" he whispered again
