High on the cliff of the mountainside—that now looks more like a icy mesa with one steep side and one slightly sloping one—Aisu peers over the edge and down below. “Niyou, I don’t see them. Perhaps we went too far? They aren’t our enemy and weren’t a necessary factor in our mission,” Aisu whispers gently to her partner. The Sealmaster simply crosses his arms nervously and paces a little. It wouldn’t be a noticeable movement, just a quick step this way or that and slow turning motions. “I’m going to go down there and see what’s taking them so long to surface.” The Mizu stands from her crouched position on the ledge to Niyou. The silver haired teen nods once as he turns to look at her. Almost in slow motion, Niyou watches as a large metal talon spreads it’s claws apart. It lunges forward in this same slow, intoxicated like movement and grabs the blue haired maiden in its grasp. The Persian prince extends a hand to reach for her outstretched one but comes short. Aisu is dragged down into the darkness of the icy canyon as Niyou is left to stand with his mouth slightly gaped and eyes wide.

The ice dragon’s cry echoes from below and snaps time back to normal. Not really thinking beyond the idea of going after Aisu, Niyou dashes over the edge and plummets down in an attempt to rescue his dear friend. “It wouldn’t feel good if something happened to her… would it,” Niyou hears Kane’s voice echoing off of the side of the blemish of the earth’s surface. The nimble male manages to use both chakra manipulation and some swift positioning of his trusty spear to puncture the mesa’s sloping side. It slows him down some but not enough before the spear snaps in half. Niyou crashes against a rock hard before hitting the snow spotted ground below. He groans lowly but doesn’t waste a second to get to his feet. “Down here for this?” Kane tosses Aisu’s head, held by the chin by his hand, to the side as the girl remains bound by the talon. “I’m not a petty guy, but you two have really got me wanting to cause you pain equal if not close to what you’ve just caused me.”

“Look, Kane. You came after Aisu and I so we defended ourselves. We’re not about to I.D. people or turn ourselves in. So whatever happened as a result happened--.”

Kane runs over to Niyou and attempts to punch him only to miss. Niyou awkwardly dodges the strike from the metal dragon and winces. His fall hadn’t come without a crippling injury. His ribs had received severe damage and were probably about to or already had punctured something inside of him. He could tell by the way Aisu’s eyes sparkle as she lowers her head that she was begging for him not to let her down. She was asking him to save her and that she would put her fate in his hands. So a few broken ribs, sprained ankle, and a slight concussion weren’t going to stop him. He’d keep fighting until he saves her. “You a*****e!” Kane manipulates the steel on his arm that had missed punching Niyou to turn into a sharp spike. Niyou cringes as the spike tears through the flesh on his chest but doesn’t impale him. The Sealmaster then makes a quick decision to increase his odds of winning this battle. The first thing that Niyou does is use the tattoos along his skin to form claws on his lesser arm, being the one nearest Kane right now. He quickly slashes up with all the speed he can muster in order to impale the metal dragon in the arm.

He then dives downward and extends the arm that’s hand is pinned in Kane’s arm. The sharp spike that had been meant to stab Niyou would then be used to sever the boy’s wrist from his arm. The process is grueling and monstrously painful since the edge isn’t quite sharp enough and doesn’t make a clean cut. But he couldn’t afford to stay close to Kane still and so he tears the limp completely off by tugging away from his opponent. He screams under his breath, muffling the noise and making almost no echo at all. The pain was so great and something he’d never felt before. He felt like vomiting from the shock but his dedication to his goal of saving Aisu prevents him. Quickly using Limb Sealing, Niyou tourniquets his wound with his tattoos to stop the bleeding. With any luck, since he’d never done this before, he could reattach his hand at a later time. The Persian prince pants hard and fast as he strains to remain conscious. Kane seems to grit his teeth at the pain of the limb in his arm but quickly tends to trying to remove Niyou’s arm.

The talon that holds Aisu seems to melt, having only been liquid metal, and releases the girl. Niyou rushes over to his only to lose feeling in his legs and collapse before he can reach her. Kane frees himself the moment that Aisu begins to summons her Demonic Ice Mirrors around Niyou. She planned to manipulate the ice mirrors and make them draw inward until leaving no places to peer in between the mirrors. Then she would draw Niyou into one. But her speed compared to Kane’s wouldn’t be enough. “I’ll kill you for killing Eki! I loved her!” Aisu gasps as she forms the mirrors. She had no idea that she had caused Eki to be killed. Just when the Tetsu clan member begins to summon a barrage of spikes to impale both Aisu and Niyou water seeps up from the ground beneath the two pals. Spikes erupt from the earth and Aisu’s scream is heard before everything falls silent.

❇❈❉❊Sometimes life seems too quiet...

Oasis had grown so much over the last few years. She had grown a lot actually. Her hair had become much longer, almost nearing her waist, as her body figure has changed as well. She had that figure that turned heads, made people stare, but she never noticed. Her hips have grown round, and her waist was what gave her the curves. She had already grown accustomed to people approaching her, asking what her secret was. But she never told them, she only said to fight and kill, it was her thing. She gave a laugh, and was walking next to Hariko. Her small little minion companion was walking next to her, down the streets of the Snow. It was currently winter, so the Snow storms and such only got more violent, but the locals seemed to take advantage of it. They made residence out of ice, the hotel they were staying in was made of ice. It was epic. Oasis gave a yawn, she was bored out of her mind. With a small sigh, Oasis's purple eyes lingered over the top of the white mountain. There. Something moved. Raising an eyebrow, the woman looked on, wondering what it was that lingered in her sight. This almost excited her, something to check out. Turning to the fourteen year old next to her, she gave a small smirk.

"Hariko~" She purred his name, her voice velvet and calm. She waited a few moments, just simply gazing at the blue haired boy next to her. The ice master gave him a playful look, then pointed up onto the snowy mountain. Both of them were accustomed to the cold, and would be able to handle the bone chilling cold. The pure white fluffy ice was sprinkling around them, but she paid no mind. Instead, she set her sights on the top of the mountain.

"We're going to hunt us a bounty." Her voice finally sang out, enlightening the boy of her plans. She wasn't all that excited, but at least she might get something out of the deal. He snow crunched under her feet, and her hair and hips swayed with every stop she took. Her purple eyes were focused on the loose snow of the tall looming mountain. Maybe she and Hariko could get up there in time. With a sigh, she zipped up her sweater, and got ready fro the long trek up the mountain.

--------------------------------------

Now they stood on the edge of a cliff, overlooking the beautiful village covered in a veil of pure white, almost like the village was camouflaged into the snow. The lanterns that shone brightly in the village's pathways, showing Hariko and her that the village still held life. The wind was harsh, and blew at their clothing. The cold chilled them both to the bone, but not one of them shivered or surrendered to it's cruel cold. Instead, they focused on the path ahead. Oasis was in the lead, a light back pack held items they would need to survive, along with a few pieces of ninja gear. Not like she needed it, not when she had her ice trident, but they could prove useful. The woman looked over the edge, and watched for something moving, other than falling snow. They both had to be careful, and they needed to keep together. Over the past five years, Oasis still haven't lost her edge in teasing the poor fourteen year old.

"If you get too cold, Hariko, you can always cuddle into me." Her soft voice ended with a laugh, and echoed off the mountains. A smile was plastered on her face, this hunt was becoming more and more fun.

Hariko Mizu, The Cold Demon

Hariko walked beside her actually smiling lightly as he glanced to her. He had changed in the time past as well. He had grown taller. His hair had darkened slightly. His frame remained thin, but had developed some musculature. He still wasn't a strength-based person. His body was designed for grace, speed, agility, and dexterity. He had shortened his hair some. Over his form he wore black, white and blue. It was clothing and colors perfectly fit for someone like him. He had become a teenager as Oasis had become an adult. His gaze shifted from the beautiful woman beside him, to the sky above. It was laced with clouds, and from it, pure white fell down. Snow, the soft version of us, fell over them, and over the village hidden in snow. But of course, it was winter, and that snow was far thicker The winds had also picked up. It was clear that a storm was on the way. He heard the yawn of Oasis beside him and brought his attention back to her. Overall, the time in the snow village was rather enjoyable. He followed the gaze of the pink-haired woman. Her eyebrows had raised, and she showed interest as she looked through the mountains. He heard her speak his name in that soft, sensual voice. It actually made him blush a bit. He watched as she pointed towards the mountain tops with a silly look. His feet spread the snow below lightly, leaving an impression. He raised an eye-brow of his own with interest as she mentioned a bounty. "What sort of bounty are you talking about?" Hariko began moving after her as she zipped her jacket/sweater. He followed after her readily, not fearing the cold. Naturally, he was well adapted to the cold. True, he did have his limits, but he was quite effective.

They had reached a cliff, and from the edge, they could see the snow village laying below them. He couldn't help but notice the awe of it's appearance. He did truly enjoy the weather here, one way or another. Light flowed out through the storm. He felt the cold, and actually was a little invigorated by it, strangely enough. He turned and followed after Oasis as she continued. Hariko himself held a small pack, making sure he had any supplies they might need. He glanced up to her as she teased him about cuddle for the cold. He blushed, a nervous laugh escaping his lips (2x)

She wasn't so concerned about what was going to happen when they found it, or if they found it, she was more in it for the adventure. Maybe she could get something out of the deal, maybe even paint the snow a beautiful shade of crimson. The girl gave a sigh, and looked over the mountain. The wind had picked up, but only a bit. The diamond glints on the snow sparkled like the crystal water of an oasis. The way ever sound bounced off the valley and into their ears was amazing, and the chilly cold that dug deep down into their skin was defiantly a plus in her eyes. Sweet neon purple eyes surveyed the area, and soon they were looking over every place they could see. The thrill of something dangerous as scaling the mountain, and the possibility of falling was downright magnificent. Being so high up, the cold numbing the tips of her ears, the tip of her nose was turning somewhat red, her breath turning to vapor the moment it leaves her mouth. But nothing was as good as the thought of descending the long slope, riding on nothing but ice and a wave of just pure white. To hear the sound of the crashing snow hurling towards her was enough to excite her. Without meaning to, she glanced over her shoulder to make sure her minion was still following her. She grinned at him.

"Who knows?" Her velvet voice rang out to answer his earlier question. She just loved how socially awkward he was, it was so adorable. She could say just about anything to him, and that cute redness became evidence on his cheeks. Her purple eyes held their usual playfulness, as they silently mocked him. She could almost see him blushing again. It's recently became her thing to mock him, to make him blush, to tease him. He was her minion after all. With a smile, the woman looked on, taking note of everything around her. Often, she would see things moves, but that was mainly because of an animal or something. With a slight amusement, she went forward. Suddenly, her foot landed on a slippery rock, the slushy wet snow slid out from under her foot, causing her to slip. As she did, her hand also slipped on the hand hold she had previously had on it, and the woman began to tumble backwards. With a small yelp, her arms flailing in the air for a couple seconds. She twisted her whole body, and soon she stumbled right into Hariko. Knocking both of them off their feet and backwards right into the snow. Closing her purple orbs, Oasis face planted right into Hariko's chest, and soon she layed on top of him. After a few second, she just enjoyed the warmth of him, before getting up to her hands and knees. Her hands were placed on ether side of his head, as she hovered above him. She smiled down at him, before giving a laugh. Her giggles and laughter echoed off the vacant walls, and into Hariko's ear. Soon after, she got off him, and stood up. Reaching a hand down to him, she offered to help him up.

Hariko Mizu, The Cold Demon

Hariko followed her, uncertain exactly what she intended. Still it was nice to spend time like this. He heard her sigh and glanced onto her, as the snow fell over their heads, continuing the coat the mountain with white. His clothes shifted lightly in the growing wind. He could hear echos flowing throughout the pass they took. It was an exhilarating place. He breathed deeply in the cold air, smiling lightly to Oasis, with everything. He raised gaze through the mountain, searching for what Oasis could be seeking. Oddly enough, there was no redness forming on any parts of his skin. It was only the same paleness over his entirety. He met her gaze with a curious look. She had given him a rather vague answer. She watched him with that teasing smile of hers, before she began to look around them. He followed her, until she suddenly slipped on a rock. Hariko gasped as she turned in the air and came slamming into him, arms waving about. Hariko fell back as she hit him. He blushed as her face pressed into his chest. He looked to her, his face now a bright red. As she got up, he felt her hands around his head. She just smiled and laughed loudly as she looked to him. "Oasis...are you alright?" He asked her. As she moved from him and stood up, he slowly sat up. As her hand reached out to him, he lightly took it. "Thanks...you need to be more careful in this terrain." As he said that he caught a glimpse, a shadow of movement. His head turned, looking for the source.

“The whistle of the wind reminds me of a good joke,” a person laughs only to be greeted by a single grumble. The Jester hears Bel groan in agitation and instead of stopping right there, he changes the joke. “How about this one then? There once was a—.” Before he can finish his statement a knife is flung at him. The perceptive male quickly leans out of the path of the thrown object and allows it to strike the wall beside him. “That’s a bit uncalled for, Prince.” Changing perspective, Bel would be seen digging his knife deep into the corpse of an old man. He stabs, blood squirting from the wound, and then stabs again. Bel is almost entirely covered in blood now, all of the blood of the people in the pub he and his crew had decided to venture to out of the blue.

“Can’t you see I’m annoyed by your stupid jokes? They aren’t funny and neither are you. I have little use of you so why don’t you shut up before I slice you into tiny slivers of ham?” That was pretty intense. Bel, normally coming off as cheerful with his wide grin, was portraying a deep frown for him. His face is cold and seems to be nothing at all like the face he normally wore. “Why don’t you all wait for me at the docks? I’m done staying here; hiding like some weakling. I’m going to destroy this entire village on my own and enjoy doing it.” As the Dante speaks wisps of breath are pushed from his mouth. Once the others seem to be gone and Bel is left alone in the pub with the corpses of those that he’s killed, he stands from crouched over the old man. He thinks on something a moment and then crouches down again. “I’ll take this. You won’t be needing it anyway.” The monster carves out a hole in the man’s chest in the much-adored shape that people use to show love and then digs the heart from the cavity using one of his knives. He holds it in one hand and then slowly slips the man’s eyes closed with his free hand.

Unlike the women, children, and other elderly, Bel seemed to shut this man’s eyes. Why exactly was that? He then stands again and turns to exit the building.

Shrieks and pained groans ring out all across the village. Bel takes his time stabbing and slashing at people as they try to run away from him. The crunch of the snow beneath his feet are made louder by the smashing of the skulls beneath them. He intentionally runs heavily and steps on the skulls of the deceased as he chases others down. Red goo and blood burst from the split and broken skulls. The snow below is stained red and only grows more red the more blood drains from the skulls and wounds of the dead. The demon seems to catch up to a small boy running after his fleeing mother by the collar. He digs his feet down into the snow and snatches the boy backward. He slams the youth face down into the ground behind him and begins stabbing him in the chest and arms with his knife. A wide grin would finally light the Dante’s face, his teeth being bared as well. The boy begs for him to stop and to let him live but Bel holds no interest in this individual. He slashes the boy a few times across the face and then pants a little. A tilt of his head, a final breath from the boy, and a flick of his wrist later and the female the boy had been trying to reach collapses to the ground.

“Shi, shi, shi,” he snickers as he lowers himself to the ground more. He digs his knees deep into the crimson snow and angles himself so he can see the boy’s face straight. He grasps the youth by the cheeks and makes him mouth, “Mommy, mommy! Why did you run? Why didn’t you save me? What a woman to not save her own child,” he mocks. He soon releases the boy’s face and stands. His outfit is ruined, stained with blood, sweat, and the tears of others. He seemed satisfied. He hadn’t killed everyone nor had he leveled the village. It seemed just mercilessly slaughtering a few was enough to quench his thirst for bloodshed. He stows his knife into the pocket of his pirate outfit near his left leg and sighs happily. “That’s one way to leave a village, shi shi.” He stands in a pool of blood a while longer before walking in the direction where the woman lay. He stands over her a moment before reaching up to his head and touching the tiara atop of it. “That’s one way to leave,” he states as he raises his foot and brings it down on the woman’s head.

Once Bel finally comes across the docks he finds no one there waiting for him and all of the boats gone. It didn’t matter. Lapdogs destroyed his rowboat in Hidden Mist. Which reminded him. Since he was in such high spirits now, he should give them a visit. Maybe even have a heart to heart with the Kage. Whether he gave the order for them to attack him or not mattered very little. He should have cared more about his life and village and made sure to keep the fools where they belonged, only in the streets of the village and away from the docks. He walks over to the water and begins to clean the blood from him as he crouches down near the water. He would then proceed to walk across the water until reaching the area where his crew might be or Hidden Mist.

Hmm, it seems something was going on in the Snow. And this Jounin was more than mappy to enjoy the show. She had just gotten back from the exams, she had left Hariko somewhere in the village, so she just had to hope he was still there. The girl continued to venture into the village, seeing the beautiful snow had been tainted with the vile blood of these stupid villagers. They were cringing in fear, many bodies littered the floor. Getting her shoes all bloody, the pink haired girl looked around. She began to wonder where everything was, and wondered even more where Hariko had gone. She simply scaled a new by wall, and took a look around. There was blood everywhere, not that she minded much anyways, but she felt that she should have been the one stabbing and cutting people's throats. She simply sighed, sat on the side edge of the roof and watched from a distance. She felt repelled by the girly-guy's tiara, and almost wanted to take it off his fat head and shove it down his throat. With a sigh, Oasis just continued to watch. She was going to do that to the village once she had been done here, but it seems someone had beaten her to the punch.

Hariko Mizu, The Cold Demon

Hariko had left the mountaintop with Oasis, having found traces of that Yeti she had seen, but not being able to quite catch the creature. It was an odd adventure to say the least. But regardless, there was still much training to do, and Hariko would be fine with spending a little more time in the village. Hariko arrived back into the village, and that was when Oasis left. For the time being, he had remained, training and learning to use his abilities with ice in a different manner. A few days later, he came upon the scene of a man attack and massacring the innocence within the village. There was blood and remains everywhere, soaking the snow a deep red. He watched the horror, sorrow, and pain upon the faces of those who were chased and killed. There was a calmness in how Hariko looked to this. He felt no signs of reaction, no sorrow, no fear, no anger. This situation simply wasn't his business, and he felt no reason to interfere. He hadn't yet know of Oasis's arrival. He hadn't scene her face of sadistic desire as she watched the carnage. Hariko merely stepped over the corpses, looking to them for a moment, before kneeling down and beginning to search them. He looked through them for money, weapons, items of value, anything. Their deaths may as well not go to waste.

Hariko Mizu, The Cold Demon

Hariko saw no sign of Oasis for the time being. So he decided to set out to find whatever it was that they had been looking for. He looked out towards the mountains, knowing something lurked up there, above them. He began to journey, moving readily towards the peaks they had traveled before. He headed high into the mountains, fighting the snow, the winds, and all else. it was all even more violent and difficult. Despite everything that hindered him, he continued moving, getting higher and higher into the cold, snowy peaks. He was forced to slow down as the air had thinned. He could handle the cold, of course, but the air was thinner up here, and it would take more breathes to get a given amount of oxygen. He controlled his pace going deeper into this snow storm that flowed around him. Despite it all, his senses were sharp as ever, much stronger then that of any average ninja, even compared to those hidden in the mist. Even his eyes were second only to a dojutsu user. As he walked, he heard the sound of grunts and large foot-steps through the snow. He caught a large figure with bright orange hair. He didn't know if this was what she saw, but it was certainly interesting.(2x)

He yawned a bit as he walked to the cold village. He hated being in the cold. He pulled out his scroll and dropped it on the ground and Joker II appeared. Joker slammed his hand into Joker II's chest and he chest opened up slowly and encased him. Joker looked around and he started to walk inside of his friend.

" Hi you guys. Joker is coming to be your new king.. Okay? Cool."

They wanted to play who was the King. Joker would show them that he was the one king to rule them all.

Looking around, Keishi could only see a vast expanse of white. Various shades of white, ranging from grey to blue to pure white. Snow, ice, and various stages in between. This was Hidden Snow. The name was appropriate, as always. Hidden Snow was a hard country, she could tell that much at a glance. The lifepulses that she could detect were all small, but almost unnaturally hardy. Even the smallest pulses, from voles, rats, mink, ermines or hares, were stronger than a similar-sized animal from a more temperate region. They had to, in order to survive in an inhospitable region like this. She saw virtually no minuscule pulses, however, no insects.

Turning to look at Hariko, thin flakes of ice shattered and fell off of her. The cold was intense enough that her undead flesh was partially frozen, and the ice began to build up mere moments after she broke it away. It would prove troublesome if she didn't find some way of coping with the extreme cold. Otherwise she could well freeze solid, and find herself unable to move. The village itself was somewhere relatively nearby, she was sure of that much. But just where, she didn't have the slightest clue. It was camouflaged pretty well, it would be almost impossible to find without some form of insider information. "So... Do you know where it is?" She was eager to find some place to thaw, before she froze enough that she wouldn't be able to finish the delivery. She remembered ice forming on the ground during the ambush on their way to Craftsman; that seemed to indicate that Hariko was able to manipulate or create ice. Perhaps he had been here once before, to know where to go from here?

Hariko Yuki, The Cold Demon

Hariko finally approached the land of snow alongside Keishi. In order to reach it, they were forced to use a boat, naturally. This was all given that this place wasn't connected to the mainland. Despite it's relative size and vastness, even having mountain ranges, it had no means through which someone could walk there. Still, they had at least made it here. He glanced to Keishi as she looked to him. The cold wasn't affecting him nearly as much. He was an ice user and was used to it. Noted he couldn't just walk out in his underclothes or anything, nor could he just sit in the snow all day, but he didn't seemed to bothered by the cold right now.
Keishi, on the other hand, seemed to be having some trouble. It was best to keep moving. He nodded to her question on the village's location. "I've been there before. I can lead us there. However, before then." He began forming hand seals, as his chakra flowed from him to her. Over her flesh and clothes, a controlled layer of ice would form. It was flexible enough that she could move freely with it, and her senses were unhindered. This armor was not only protective but was an excellent insulator. Whatever heat her dead body did generate would be held inside as the ice kept it from being taken up by the air, snow, and cold winds. It seemed counter intuitive, but many arctic mammals used ice and snow for their dens, which did manage to get significantly warmer then the outside areas around them. "That should help keep you going. I'll lead the way, but stay close. If any blizzard or particularly heavy snow comes in, it is possible we could lose one another."
He would lead her through, eventually seeing smoke in the distance, signs of the village not too far off. At the very least they could be sure of it's location. Smoke wasn't exactly common in a cold place such as this, after all.

Keishi nodded as Hariko answered in the positive. At least they would be able to find their way to Hidden Snow, as long as the weather didn't turn. She was about to step forward and continue on, when he spoke again, causing her to stop and turn to see what it was. He reached out, and she felt an odd sensation move over her arm, before rapidly covering the rest of her. Ice crystallized in place in over her clothing, much faster than it naturally could. It seemed segmented, or at least arranged in plates and sections, like a frigid suit of armor. She caught on within an instant, knowing that Hariko had created it to help her plight. Ice was indeed a good insulator, but that wasn't the true issue. She was a corpse, she didn't have any warmth to maintain. Her natural body temperature was basically neutral, equivalent to the temperature around her. Somewhere cold like this, that meant she was naturally at an approximate freezing point. Flesh could freeze as easily as any other organic material, if it got cold enough. The ice armor would help to prevent the worst of the wind from causing active radiative dissipation. She had residual warmth from the more temperate zone they had been in previously, but it was already dwindling fast. That rate was increased even more when there was active wind flow. The armor would probably be enough to at least get her to Hidden Snow proper. There, perhaps she could find some alternate method of staving off any freezer burn, long enough to endure until they moved on to their third stop.

"Thank you, that should definitely help. And you're right, can you tell if a storm is going to break?" She didn't know anything about lands like these. Back in Craftsman, she probably could have predicted when it might rain, or when the leaves would begin to change. But here? The weather here was as unknowable as the future, to her. The locals would be able to, of course, and Hariko might be able to as well. If there was a blizzard approaching, they would want to hurry up and make the delivery and leave before it hit, if it was at all possible.

She fell in step behind him as they made their way to a certain spot in the distance. Focusing more on her traditional vision, she finally picked out a thin trail of smoke in the sky. At least she knew what they were headed toward. As they walked, however, she sank deeply into the snow, punching through the crust with every step. That was no surprise, with all the weapons she was carrying. Taking them into account, she weighed more than twice her actual body weight. Frowning, she sank into a drift almost up to her waist. Working herself free, she brought her hands together as she channeled some of her chakra into her feet. It was possible that she could use it to create an effect similar to the Water Walking technique. She had no way of knowing if it would work or not. If it didn't, she still had other options, though they were more labor intensive. And she wanted to avoid making herself too hungry here, where prey was scarce.

Hariko Yuki, The Cold Demon

While it was true she had no inherent body temperature, even as a corpse, the fact that her body moved moved at all meant it was generating heat, whether it moved through natural or supernatural means. True, the heat may have been miniscule and insignificant, but the ice would still hold that in as well as keep the wind out. Hariko would glance back to her ask she asked about his ability to predict a snow storm. He would nod in thought, remembering what he knew.
"Well the most obvious effect here would be a pick up in the wind, if it becomes much stronger then it currently is, that would be a good indicator. Also we need to keep attention to the rate of snowfall. Naturally, it will start to increase as it gets closer and closer to a storm. And, perhaps something you are more familiar with... the behavior of animals. Most animals that live in these parts will are rather aware of changes in weather patterns, for whatever reason, and will change their behavior. They're likely to become much more scarce, and take cover. Birds will be flying pretty low, most rodents or similar creatures will be hiding underground, and any larger animals will likely be leaving the area." Hariko didn't know much about Keishi's life sense, but he had noticed her talent for finding and capturing animals, an ability that he referenced in giving her some suggested warnings.
He looked back to her as he noticed she seemed to be slowing down. He found that she was sinking into the snow as they went. Truth be told, it made sense given all she was carrying. She had to weigh much more then her form made apparent. Though, with her use of a water walking effect, her situation would certainly improve. The effect would work on the same priniciple. Although, one could say the magma walking technique might be more effective over all, given the more viscous nature of molten rock, and the temperature protection such a technique provided. Regardless, the water walking did help her stay above the snow more effectively.
He would turn his gaze back ahead and lead her on. He kept his eyes and ears sharp for any disturbances, as the smoke grew closer and closer, the village soon becoming visible to them. He would notice, though, as the wind was beginning to pick up. It was best they hurried before a storm came their way.
