Leilani tilted her head then tried not to blush when feeling his hand against her knee. She then tried to do like he said, moving in the water as if she were to lay on her front. The position was familiar since it was how she swam normally. "Like this?"

Tsukasu nodded, smiling to her. Yes, like that, he said before leading her out a little further into the water in that position. The key is to make sure you can float, which you can! he chimed happily. Now... I'll move a few paces in front of you, and what I want you to do is kick your legs in the water and move your arms like this, he said, mimicking the way that one would move their arms while swimming. Give it a try!

Smiling, Leilani watched him closely, mimicing his movements slowly to see if she could get it right. When she thought she could do it ok, Leilani put a little force behind it to push herself forward. Moving two lower limbs at once rather than just one felt rather odd but she knew she would get used to it. "I think I'm doing it!"

You're doing it! And you're doing great!! Tsukasu said, clapping his hands happily. Okay, now, try to push yourself forward a little, try to swim a circle around me, he said.

"A circle?" Leilani nodded somewhat then gave it a try. With her tail, circling him would have been no problem but with legs, it was tougher than she thought. Rather than going around, she made an odd shape then ended up bumping into him when getting too close. "I don't think I can do a circle..."

Tsukasu laughed softly, nodding. It's really hard, I shouldn't have made you do that so soon... but swimming straight is good, too, he said, swimming out a bit farther. Just follow me, okay? he said.

"That's alright. I'll practice at it and show you someday." Thought she probably sounded child-like, it only meant that she was eager to learn then prove she could do it. Leilani then nodded to him and began to follow, a bit slow at first but picking up pace as she got into a rhythm. "Did someone teach you to swim too?"

Tsukasu shook his head. Just myself... he said, swimming around in the more shallow areas, not going too far out for her sake. Are you comfortable? Having fun?

Leilani continued to move her legs and arms, glad that she still able to touch the bottom. She didn't think she'd be able to breath underwater in this form so she didn't want to risk drowning. "I am. It's really nice to swim like this." And she liked the idea of having two ways to swim. Practicing swimming with legs would keep her busy.

Tsukasu looked over his shoulder to Leilani, smiling brightly, sincerely at her. I'm glad you're enjoying yourself, he said. He had never really made a friend before, though he was enjoying her company immensely, he started feeling sad as he noticed how dusk was approaching.

-=Hidden Sound Samurai=- Ignoring the comment about vampires, she lifted an eyebrow in surprise and pleasure, enjoying the familliar drawl. He brother had nearly annexed it, but he still had it from time to time. Without warning, she moved around behind him, circling her arms around his waist and purred into his ear, playfully,
"Vee haff vays off making you talk."

Leilani smiled and continued to swim around though slowed a bit as her arms and legs began to tire. Looking at Tsukasu's expression, she tilted her head and frowned. "Is something wrong, Tsukasu?"

Tsukasu laughed, bobbing in place in the water, shaking his head. Not really, I couldn't mind but notice that the sun is going to set soon, he said, nervously smiling to her. That usually means that the time I have spent with someone is cut off...and I usually never see them again, it's happened twice before... he mumbled sadly, looking into the water.

Leilani's frown deepened, her heart twisting painfully. She didn't think it had anything to do with her but would she be losing this friend too? Swimming a little closer, Leilani tilted her head down to catch his attention. "Why do you never see them again?"

Tsukasu pouted, looking up to her. Usually because either they never come back and see me, or I don't know where they are to visit them, he said. I don't want that to happen again. Do you want to go do something else now? Maybe you could come over to my house with me? Maybe we could go get some dinner first? he asked, biting his lower lip.
