Elnara smiled at Haradhel. "I'm glad. I'm always so worried about them, they always seem to be able to get into so much trouble, even when they're supervised. I don't know if you know Ulrich and Ulani, who live in the Borderlands, but ... they have - or had, I don't know if it's still going - a permanent rain on their dock now. It was already rotting when we left, though, so it must be gone by now ... the dock I mean."
She laughed.
"Anyways, is dinner ready soon?" she asked. "Or do we have time to wash up?"
Starr nodded. "We learned lots," she agreed. "Haradhel's a good teacher."
"She took us outside to practice," Storm added, "to a bit slippery area where Earendil showed us yesterday."
"That was where Storm got sick yesterday," Starr added solemnly. Then she brightened. "But he's all better now!"

Lore grinned, "I can certainly see that," he chuckled a bit.
Yes, Storm was indeed looking a lot better than before, which was relief.
"And I see you both have new clothes."
Well normally one might not be able to tell with Starr, but it was the feel of the cloth when he picked her up that tipped him off.

Starr nodded at Lore. "Ninako said she didn't want us to overheat again, so it was better if we had lighter clothes," she grinned.
Storm giggled. "These clothes are tickly, real soft!"

Haradhel nodded again. "Yes, dinner should be any time now," she smiled. "Though I'm sure no one would mind if you washed up first."
She turned to Lore. "Shall I take Storm and Starr to the Dining Hall for you, then, so that you can wash?"

"If you don't mind," Lore replied back.
He looked down at the two, he was pretty sure the twins wouldn't mind, but one never knew.
"Alright you two?"

The twins nodded happily at Lore. "You have to be clean before you eat!" Starr giggled.
"So that you don't get sick," Storm added with a grin.
"So you go get clean-"
"-and then we can eat with you!"
And with that, they flew back over to Haradhel, each of them landing on one of her shoulders and making themselves comfortable.
Elnara laughed. "You two be good, now," she reminded them, heading toward the stair tower again.

"Oh, I'm sure they'll be just fine," Haradhel smiled brightly, waving and turning towards the Dining Hall. "We'll see you shortly!"

Lore chuckled at that, "We'll see you three later then."
With a wave he went off with Elnara to get clean before dinner. Since, as the twins pointed out was the good thing to do for one's health.

Dinner went better than Elnara could have hoped - probably because Ruel was blissfully absent - and the rest of the evening passed equally peacefully. The children regaled her with tales of what they had been doing during the day (though Celebor was strangely quiet on that score). She slept well that night and woke with the sunrise, feeling calm yet excited.
She slipped out of bed alone (Idhril, Storm and Starr were still asleep) and dressed before heading off to find out if either Lore or Luthien were awake yet - Luthien had agreed to watch over the children while Elnara and Lore were gone.

Lore woke up that morning, going about his usual morning routine from yesterday. Only he also was packing for the trip, he made sure to leave a few things here, so that the kids would not think they were just up and leaving.
Well, he didn't know if the children would really think that way, but he knew Celebor might still have some fears.

Elnara thought she head some movement in Lore's room as she passed by the door, and she decided to take a chance and knocked on the door.
She hoped he really was awake, because she would feel really awkward if she woke him up.

He paused for a moment at the sound of the knock, before turning to get the door. He wondered who it could be, but then again the people here were early risers more or less, so it could be anyone he reasoned.
Though he would admit to himself as he opened the door, his lips smiling wide, that seeing Elnara first thing in the morning was a pleasent surpirse.
"Good morning Elnara."

Elnara blushed slightly, but her smile was as wide as Lore's was as she looked back at him.
"Good morning," she replied softly, her eyes bright. "I thought I heard you up and about ... I'm glad to see I didn't wake you. Shall we get some breakfast before everyone else is up? It will be cooler if we start earlier, after all."

"Just a minute," Lore replied, "Let me get my things."
He disappeared back into his room for just a moment before appearing again with his bag over his shoulder.
"There we go, that should be it," he nodded, "Are the children still asleep?"

Elnara nodded. "They are ... but I'll make sure they're awake and say goodbye before we leave. I can't just disappear on them, after all, not for several days."
She clasped her hands behind her back.
