Plus, what if Phrik and Cortosis don't blend? it could be that the two metals corrode rapidly when brought into contact with one another or become extremely brittle, or any number of reactions.

Paul, you're complicating things.

If you're going against a jedi/sith, and you want to kill him, use a flechette cannon.

If he's armored, its best to use a laser cannon, like an AT-TE or a Slave I or something.

Franklium and water.

Just stand WELL back when attempting this combination, assuming you get your hands on any Franklium, which is not legally obtainable for most people.

You mean Francium, the most radioactive and almost fully unstable element known to man?

The one who can make film fog up at over one mile away and if you happen to find some, you don't touch it with a drill or a pickaxe or disturb it at all for fear of a cataclysmic explosion?

You do realize that Francium is very volitile...

However, Water and Pure Sodium is indeed a nice mixture, and much easier to obtain.
