"Then you should be aware, that several guests of our wedding will be human, some under special circumstance. Aurahkah, some three thousand or so years old on her plane, a gift from a bracelet that I will stress is not to be touched in a manner that coudl be taken as trying to remove it. Another is Nailah, an empath..also gifted with a form of immortality from teh same era as Aurahkah...a cruel joke I would call it. supposedly she struck ill, and the cure they gave her made her immortal."

A pause there.

"Rand the Raven. a hydrid creation through magical ritual..human Conduit..a living portal to demonic realms..though she can control herself and has some vah characteristics, such as a tail. Perhaps a kitsune type human, and her elven husband. powerful sorceror. I am unaware of her mortality. One named Saradin. human, probably in his fifties, Aurahkah's lover."

Another pause for that.

"Last, but not least in anyway..is Cymarron. Rand's mate, the protector of all the Manor residents. probably some three or four hundred by now. his natural gift I explained a bit earlier. he has about...roughly...some several thousand voices in his head. You may notice strange behavior, ear movements, pauses like he's listening to people that aren't there. and he is. speaks about himself most times in third person from my recollection. winged, like his sons. You met Onyx and Moonstone correct?"

Broog looked over his cases.

"Broogs makes shinies for Andal masters and mistrezes. And da manors peoples. Master says hoomans don't member like elfies do, needs stuffs to reminds dem. Elfie masters und mistrezs get perty shinies cause da master tinks it helps wit fyrst impreshoons."

Well...if she hadn't been exposed to humans before she was being so now. After all, Fianna had never left plane until recently when she had come to Labyrinth with Kieran. Other than that though, she stayed in Andal and hadn't venutred much. Even her own wanderlusting days were spent trasping just the one plane. But Kieran had often been other places and she knew what she did about humans and others as well from him.

Thus she listened intently almost to him. And lo and behold, these were not normal humans either. Somehow she thought that she preferred it that way. Well...as long as there was no fiasco...after all, Andalian elves did have that extra survival response from unfamiliar things. Wouldn't want that happening and going all feral.

"Yes, I remember the two winged cats." Though a breif encounter, you really didn't forget things like that. A little nod as she ingested all the information that was put forth to her. "Well...as long as things remain civial and they post no threat...I'm sure things will be just fine. Though I assume they'll be coming a fe days before the wedding, for time's sake...Kieran will probably play host. Ryliah's own securities prevent a lot...in fact I'll be spending my next few days back modifiying it for you and Piper."

Piper smiled lightly and fondly. Well that was just like Malik now wasn't it? "No, human's don't. They only have but so many memories at one time, and they forget things forever sometimes." Tragic thing really in her opinion. A little tap of her finger to her lips. "Yes...I suppose it would help with first impressions...us elves do love our elegance and those are indeed elegant. Very lovely Broog." And she knew Malik had just let Broog play with imagination...dull witted he may be, but grandly inspired he was. A look back to her own, setting a hand to one mold, feeling for heat. They were good. Thus leather straps were taken off and bricks craked in half, Piper pulling out the two newly crafted arrow head. One was solid and normal as any, the other had the look of one of her bone worked arrowheads from Cymarron...but with a hole in the middle and a hollow point tip. A critical look at them before she took to filing off leading from where metal was pouredin and formed a little tail. "Broog...do you have any little say glass or crystal vial that would fit in here?" Showing him the one with the empty center.

"I mention the bracelet becuase if someone does try to remove it, or appears to be trying to remove it, there will be. Cymarron will protect anyone he promises to do so with hsi life, agasint any and all forces. and I mean any. he can and will take on the whole crest brigade for an insult like that to him. especially if he Ascends. that's just...well..it's not somethign you want to see if it gets loose."

A small frown.

"Cymarrons speaks thirteen languages...has experienced life as both man and woman from thirteen races. he can see in teh dark as easily as a drow, and in the light as good as any surface bred elf. he's as cunning in poison as a drow, as skilled in teh woods as a Fier'dal, quick and agile as teh lizardmen. powerful as the ogres and heals like a troll. a very deadly opponent. Add to that his wings, and his venomous fangs, serrated one and a half inch claws..and execllent dagger and hand to hand combat skills. While an adept killer...he is, from Piper's words, a very lovable peaceful creature. just don't rub him the wrong way to hard."

Broog looked over, tilted his head, picking up the little arrowhead in his huge hand, and looking at it.

"Broog has lightle glas beeds. dey hollow, was gunna fill with pretty colored liquid, and hang dem on chains like da hooladay ormanents fer da trees. Dat work mebbe?"
PostPosted: Wed Jun 21, 2006 5:54 pm

A little nod from her in understanding. "Right...above all we are not to cross this Cymarron creature." And personally from the sound of him, Fianna didn't want to...a creature crammed with that much skill and information after all was potientially dangerous on several levels if crossed the wrong way. Understanable indeed was Malik's concern. "Well you know Kieran and I will make sure such things are know so that we indeed don't have any incidents. Don't want your wedding ruined after all with unneeded outbursts of the sorts.

"Maybe..." A little tilt of her head in thought. "Well we'll try it and if it doesn't work...well I know how to make my own, I was just looking for a short cut." No, glass makings were not beyond her grasp either, she just didn't do it much. But it was part of fletching. So with that matter set aside she dug around in that bag and then pulled out what looked like a slightly overly wide arrow shaft that was hollow all the way through, with one end plugged up. And then other mold it seemed, looked to be for making a sort of conic diamond, leather strap already equipped to that one. She took a moment to pour more of that melted metal into each, tapping lightly to get air bubbles out and topping off, holding the hollow arrow shaft with her nails to keep heat from scalding her fingers and the other was set on the table.

"I expect so. I really am not so worried about you, it's the Brigade I'm concerned about, and his mate. but hopefully that can get straightened out, before someone gets hurt. and I will say if they do somethign stupid, don't let him eat any part of anyone."

A small smile though.

"So, unpleasent prospects out of the way. Anything on your mind you want to know about?"

Broog was watching, while his hands were working on just more intricate jewelry, almost out of habit. most of his trunk was jewelry and collars, truth be told, and Broog could almost jewelcraft in his sleep by now.
PostPosted: Wed Jun 21, 2006 6:45 pm

"Don't worry...the Brigade will behave themselves...they're not as bad as we're probably making them seem. High strung yes, but they do at least offer chances before they immediately deem them threats and go for action." A little high strung and eccentric indeed...but forgiving with an honor and loyal perhaps unparalleled. "If Cymarron is as you say about these people, his loyalty so profound...I'm sure he'll get along just fine with the Crest Brigade members. Common ground if you will."

A look to the fire a moment, watching the flames flicker, once agitated by alcohol being thrown in it now back to it's own motions and ways. Though she gave a smile to his own. He was rather handsome when he smiled...much better than that stoic or angry look. "You." A little nod. "This trip up to the surface you're making...I know you're not ecstatic over it..."

A few more moments to let metal set and cool before the little conical diamond was pryed out and the wood of the apparent makings of an arrow shaft was broken away from the metal one that had been made in the process. More fishing around in that bag of hers to pull out a little carving knife of sorts, though it's blade was made for this sort of thing. A little smile, noting that Broog was watching her and working at his own things without even having too look. She could do that too, weren't they just a pair? Usually she didn't have an audience when she fletched or in this case where she was, more or less, fletching from complete scratch. Thus she had gone about fitting things together, using drizzles of liquid metal to bind things. Ending up of course with one arrow that was made completely of that metal, even 'feathers' for the back end being crafted with a thin layer poured on the table and shaped into what she wanted as it had dried, and then the second was the metal arrowhead with the hollow tip and space on a wooden shaft, the little diamond being attached to the back end for apparent weight balance, actual feathers soon joining on the end. Turning to Broog she held out both to him. "Remember that symbol?" A flash of her glove to him. "I need it on the arrowheads of both, and then on this one," a wiggle of the metal one, "I need it on the shaft and feathers too."

"I lived on the surface for several years in the plane I met Piper on. I was hunting the Hunter, and unfortunatly had to go to the surface, as there was nothing that would lure him to the dark. I actually met Piper in a forest, firing arrows in that strange game of fetch with her horse. Though I confess I was a homebody, prefer nighttime or the darkness of my home, built like this place, to the daylight. but twenty years down here, has readjusted me to the realm of my birth."

A lean back.

"So this trip to the surface will have it's health hazards for me. Like Piper down here, there are things on the surface that are toxic to me, but not to her. and daylight will prove to be an issue for some time until my eyes readjust. My primary concern is of course other drow, As I hear some prowl the surface, and other elves that may not find my presence welcome. I'll probably have to wear a cloth or face mask over my nose and mouth in case of pollens and the like I may have reactions to, at least for a few days."

A lean forward again.

"I look forward to this for my own reasons. Did Kieran or Piper tell you about my past, what happened to my family? I've alluded to it already..but since then, family ties, ties to a House, have become very important to me. Andal is Piper's place of birth, it is the home of her family, a family that has so far taken me into it's folds. and you have no idea what that means to me. How important it is to me. And Piper deserves a wedding with friends nad family, without worriesof the constant battles and intrigues and webs of deception of this place. and I will give that to her. On top of that, I'll get to see her home, the places she grew up."

A bit of a distant look.

"I'll get to hear her laughter in the walls of stone, her footsteps on the wooden forest floors, I'll get to experience her joys, and her frustrations, at learning to fletch, or to swim, or to climb her trees. Everything that made Piper from a baby girl to a woman is on that plane. And I will get to savor a childhood that I never had to opportunity to have."

Broog titled his head lightly.

"Da leashie thing won't werk on woohd. Only da finger wagglered metal stuffs. But Broog will put da symbols in likes you wants. yous wants dem in metals, or just inscrupted in der?"
PostPosted: Wed Jun 21, 2006 7:55 pm

Another little chuckle on her part. "Ah yes, arrow fetching...not just for Zephyrs either."Though a hand was raised in that emphasis manner for a moment. "The Vrist drow will more likely than not stay in The Depths...our Underdark proper...and won't be of concern. The other are the Requias drow. Though I don't know myself, Kieran has quite informed me that they are merely dark skinned surface elves when it comes to attitude and what not." Which was an interesting concept...but she preferred to leave it alone...Kieran did have enough problems with Vrist 'wanting thier drow back'. "As for the others, pay them no mind."

A little nod. "It's a good thing that you'll be in Lucana then...high mountains, less pollen and the like in the air, so you'll be able to adapt better and more gradually. Not to mention that the zephyr currents keep the air relatively hospitable. And depending on when you're there, the season and what not, things should be well...not too hard on you."

That intense gaze of emerald eyes again as he continued on, more or less having her full attention on his words and what he was saying. After all, she really hadn't learned too much on Malik, so it was nice to hear it all first hand. Would do no good to not know her daughter's love. "They have told me perhaps vaugely, though vague I can deal with if you don't care to revisit the memory." Again he was speaking with the fondess in his voice that was absolute scincerity. "Malik...you gave our daughter back so much that she thought lost to her, you gave me...perhaps Kieran as well a second chance with her...that in turn deserves nothing less than welcoming you with open arms into family ties."

A tilt of her head at that distant look that he got before another smile crept to her features. Okay she'd admit it. She liked him, good choice on Piper's part. Certinally an unmeasurable amount of times better than Kaden would of ever been, even when he still had his sanity and just ways. "I hope you have a lot of energy Malik...you'll need it for that physical walk down memory lane."

"Speaking of visiting arrangements. Did you plan to stay from the council and then up to the wedding date whenever it is set, or going then coming back here and then back again?"

She nodded to him. "Yes, just on the special metal arrowhead on this one, and then on the various parts of this one." Each being wavered in turn, wood then metal to make sure that he got which was which and what. Visial aids were always good. And yes, in the metal so it will react to the leash." Her and her fletcher schemes...

"The memory only haunts me during reverie. speaking of it doesn't hurt."

though a small smile at her talk about memory lane, and a smirk at Lucana. Boy wouldn't that b*****d love to hear of a country inadvertently named like him.

"You really think I'll spend all my time in Kieran's home, and not visit yours? tsk tsk, Fianna."

But gesturing to a seat.

"Back when my father ruled with an iron fist and had his Harem, he came to own Cymarron, from kit to adult, kidnapped, his parents butchered trying to save him, the rest of his kin caring not for him. Throwbacks..and that's another term I would never say to Cymarron's face...were considered like..birth defects of the untmost horrible state."

"Cymarron became ever stronger. Father's personal assassin, and prize gladiator. But when Cymarron showed defiance, my Father, in arrogant pride, directly challenged Cymarron to combat. and he lost. all they found of him was the leash bearing hand. blood and meat everywhere, nothing identifiable."

"Then began the Curse of House D'vinn. All thriteen of the harem scattered, going to thier own homelands. and each, down to the last child, were slaughtered, family and all. husbands, children, any cousin living with them, or family. Cymarron's way of ensuring my father's bloodline was ended."

"I was orphaned, for all I knew. and spent several weeks as a street rat in Neriak, begging and asking if anyone knew of family I might have. eventually I found them. they were more..loving than normal, hte Curse brought them closer to eachother out fo fear and self preservation."

"I had a mother, two older brothers, and shadowknight, and an assassin, and a wizard sister. I knew them for one month. long enough to establish family ties...and then Cymarron found us. Butchered them all, and left me a patchwork quilt. I was very near dead, and was left to that. A cleric saw the bloodshed, and rescued me. I lost everything as swiftly as I gained it."

A moment then, looking into the past.

"After that, I was given Mavolence. and after meny more years, and having to master that blade, I became a shadowknight, and a soldier, then a commander. then I died at the hands of a Koada'dal at the battle of bloody kithcor. since then I have died many times, resurrected bearing the scars of my last death. A gift I gave up to help face Dimitri, exchanging it for a blessed blade. So this is my last life, so to speak. and I bear only the scar of last time I tried and failed as my father before me to control Cymarron."

He opened his shirt, showed the huge scarred tissue that woudl have been about where his heart was, and a good bit about it.

"Cymarron during an Ascention state, literrally punched through me from behind."

closing his shirt again.

"I learned my lesson, and since we have had a begrudging truce. he doesn't try to finish what he started, and I don't try to hunt him down or keep him in a cage as a pet. Shortly after I met Piper and she turned my world upside down, then right side up again."

Broog nodded and took the peices, and in not ten or fifteen minutes, all had that image engraved where they were needed, and even put in there artistically to work with the natural edges and parts of the pieces.

"All dun."

Big grin, handing the parts back to her.

"Wut you guna make dem do?"
PostPosted: Wed Jun 21, 2006 9:11 pm

A little smile to him. "Of course I don't...but until you adjust to the air and until I adjust securities to allow you in, you should stay with him. Other wise you could choke and die on the amount of things floating in that forest air, or you'll get dumped randomly over water by securities. Both of which I'm sure you wouldn't enjoy." And at his gesture to a seat she indeed took one, because that usually meant you were in for a long explaination.

She did think it was quite amazing that he was...more or less letting her in on this information. After all, drow weren't the most open creatures and it was unusual in itself for someone to openly divulge personal information of such sorts. Then again Malik was a practical elf. It made sense. Though if any judgements were going on in her head they didn't show on her face. Though yes, she was surprised at the fact that he had died several times over...that was unusual to say the least.

A tilt of her head as he displayed that scar. Which was quite the thing...seeing as for an elf to scar, even drow, it had to be a pretty serious injury. Though the explaination of said injury did indeed justify. Then again Gods worked in mysterious ways. "Then it's easy to assume correctly that you and Cymarron do not see eye to eye. Though admirable that you and him would tolerate each other for the sake of Piper."

Then a little chuckle. "Upside down and then right side up again...how approiate." Fianna gave a light sigh. "You're quite strong to be where and how you are now, past things considered and accounted for. The mere motivations of you molding yourself may not of been the best, but that is only my opinion...and in some cases the means does indeed justify the end. Hellish paths we walk sometimes to more hospitable ones."

Oh yes, she was starting to get giddy...couldn't really help it at all. Fletching always took her mind off of things better left not to think about...like cinnamon, only cinnamon won in any mood elevating contest really. Tree bark addict. Taking both, she looked them over and practically held in a squeal of delight. Yes...she was feeling better. "I, my dear Broog, and working on the pet peeve of every archer that lives and ever will live." There was nothing more damn frustrating than loosing your arrow because you couldn't get it out of something, or you lost it out of inability to carry it. "The metal contracts under command, yes? Well then...this should work...I just have to find something suitable to test on..." All the while looking those things over, testing weight and what not. Then holding up the metal wood combination one. "All I have to do is outfit this one with a holding container of some sorts to feed whatever through the tip upon impact and I think I can squeal in joy."

"The Prince of Hate found my hatred of Cymarron somethign worth preserving. my Hatred fueled me, and Innoruuk guided my path then, though I still offer prayer to him. Now..it's a joke that he's waiting till I do something to really piss him off to smite me and Piper. Indeed..walk through the desert to find the oasis."

Then a nod.

"Oh yes, I remember Kieran telling me about that. instant translocating security system to your treetop home. and you're probably right, best to avoid the forest in the begining out of self preservation. Cymarron and I will never be friends, but yes, he is friends with Piper. the golden feathered arrows, and the bone arrowheads are his work. from his hunts and own feathers. they are...incredible crafters, his people. bone, stone..nothing from a hunt isn't used. if it's not eaten, it's building material."

A small smile.

"But now you know more of me. probably more than anyone other than Piper, since Kieran has never thought to ask."

Broog looked at the arrow. something to feed thought the tip on impact..and got up, opening his trunk and digging through it showing just how much work he idly did...you coudl probably live off of selling the rings, necklaces, earrings, braclets, anklets, armbands in there..and of course collars. till he pulled out a very intricate set of fingers rings, attached by chain to a back piece, and started to dismantle the finger pieces, and handed a tiny tube over to Piper.

"Des work?"

the glove hand hollowtip fingers, tubes with sharp points, the idea to be able to scratch of claw someone and poison them. and even it look damn nice as hand jewelry.
PostPosted: Wed Jun 21, 2006 9:52 pm

A little nod and then a laugh. "Provided one can find thier way through the forest first. I take it he told you of the personal experience of simply coming uninvited, only to end up far away and wet." Then one of those quirks of an eyebrow. "Really...I was wondering where she got those from." It was the archer in her, couldn't help it. "I would indeed have to agree with you, just from seeing that minimal amount of work."

She tapped her nails on the arm of her chair, leaning back and relaxing at little. Then a smile. "Dear Kieran...scholar that he has become, "and quite the change from his younger days as well, when he used to pass up the knowledge for the rush, "...only asks what he feels will not bring strain. And when he does, he verses it in such a way that it like he's not asking at all. Veiled questions. That and he doesn't like to pry when it's not a dire need. You make his only daughter happy, that's by far enough information about you for him."

"Then again, I know not what those two talk about when they're alone..." That 'and that worries me somedays' look, but not in the bad sense. A plotting Kieran and Piper always turned out interesting. But emerald eyes turned back to Malik. "Anything bubbling in your own head then...for you know far less of me and even Kieran."

Okay, raised eyebrow and tilted head. Malik...sold slaves...when he could more or less sell what Broog idly stored away for perhaps better prices and over a wider range of customers...and he didn't why? Sometimes she just knew it was better to not question the obvious things...besides she usually got presented with a perfectly logical answer back on some level or another. But she watched Broog as apparenly he had a bright idea and she was soon taking the offered object. "Hm...let's find out." Taking the little object and working with it a moment before it, much to her satisfaction, slipped into the space that was left in it, and touched to the hollow point made, as well as stayed snug. One of those smiles of hers. "Perfect...thank you Broog." Thus digging back in that bag...and pulling out a jar. Popping the lid open she looked into the little bit of liquid that was left, barely forming a decent coating on the bottom. A moment to check her fingers to make sure no skin was broken on them. A reed that got progressively smaller was then pulled out and the thin tip pushed into the arrow tip, then the liquid poured in and funnelled into the little vial. Another look at the jar...well it had finally happened, she had used it all up. Damn. "And there we have it Broog...my own little schemings. Not much...but damn inventive..." Still had to test them though.

"Kieran likes to flirt with danger over the nigh obsessive desire to learn a bout the Drow. he allows Sevilin to hunt him in exchange for meetings, and possibly information exchanges. He's a moon elf, by skin coloring, and has the ability to hold light into his eyes to give him noonday vision at anytime. Well traveled, enjoys those little stones he showed me who's name eludes me. has several journals on nearly every subject he can find, and commonly lets the running of his kingdom be done by Rainsong's father. An expert swordsman, capable of dual wielding blades, bonded both to you and to Piper. Loyal to a fault, and does not leave promises unkept or deeds undone."

Then a small smile.

"And Fianna. ruler to teh fier'dal kingdom, built aroudn and in the treetops. you are the more level headed of the duo, ruling with gentle but firm command, generous and insightful. A wonderful mother, and gentle lover, and a worthy confidant. the safety of your people are a great concern to you, and you strive for harmony in the world around you, even in teh most dire circustances. A master Rune mage, who is still humble, not proud or filled with arrogance for her status among the rune mages. You woudl give anything for those you care about, you woudl travel to anyplace to see them if you had to. Bonded to Kieran and to Piper, and though not married in ceremony to Kieran, you are as devoted and doting and loving as any wife is to her husband."

A grin.

"Is there anything you'd like to add on to that?"

Brogg gave his big toothy smile and nodded. and the reason why most of that wasn't sold or used? Malik didn't know about it Broog's case of shinies was only opened aroudn Malik for teh use of collaring, and Broog took great pains to hide his jewelry underneath mats and collars, lest malik be angry at his tooling.

"Broog make you more ah does den. You gunna try da schemings outs?"
PostPosted: Thu Jun 22, 2006 5:51 am

He answered it before she could ask it and she absorbed the information, writing a few things down for memory purposes just to make absolutely sure she was getting the correct information. Light poison in high doses...her attempt was to help Piper not force her to go straight to bed rest from getting poisoned, by her own hand no less. A sigh came from the ebony elf and she tapped a finger on the ink before her, thinking. "So I suppose that's not an option, really? Is there anything up there that won't make Piper sick?" Dosages could be extremely hard to figure out. Not giving enough could sometimes mean no effect. Giving too much meant the risk of making the ingester sick which was not what Zahara was currently going for. "If that's the only thing than I guess we'll try it. She knows the risks and she knows what she's probably going to have to go through. All this trouble over a child..." Of course to her it meant nothing, for one thing she didn't want a child and for another it would be nothing to get one when she did want one, which in her mind would be never. She had no desire to carry another life into this world. "Other than that, I think maybe a mixture of Bloodrot sap and moriah seeds might do the trick..." She paused, "Worth a try really...though it could be interesting to see what effect would take place if we mixed the clover blossoms and the sap, or the seeds." Would the Underdark variety crowd out the surface? Or would surface prevail? Or would they work together and complete the puzzle that Zahara was currently working on? That was an intriguing thought pattern indeed.

She raised an eyebrow with a smile, lightly propping her elbow on the arm chair and resting her cheek in her hand with a laugh. "Your observations, intuitions and means of information gathering do not fail you, Lord D'vinn." One of her periodical inclinations of her head toward him as she often did to whomever she was speaking to in convesations.

"Quirky isn't he? My parents hated him...probably still grudge him. Quite the revolutionist in his own right you could say...him and his own father don't see eye to eye on his way of ruling, or how in more or less around three hundred years he's been influenceing sub race relations through out Andal, quite changed the thinking, his own peoples the most...after all, they allow the proclaimed Requias dark elves to share land with them and hold no worries...even been known to help them out when thier more hostile cousins try things." A little frown at that, seeing as Lateef had mentioned to her before she had left in call to Malik's letter that there was a bit of tension in Farhian and Lucana itself.

"As for myself...not so grand as him. Then again he's had about two hundred more years than me to get his own doings done." No Fianna wasn't one to voice her own acmplishments, which little as they may be, she was quite good at. "Though you'd never peg me for an expert business woman would you?" Where Kieran excelled in PR, she excelled in trade affairs. After all...she was the one supplying most of the wood for Andal, she had to be such.

One of those little far off looks. "We would be married if our obligations did not stand in our way. But when you both rule over lands that are literally seas apart...there's not much that can be done. May think why not do it and just continue on that way, yes? Because being that close would mean even more heartache than there already is between us. We're fully bonded to one another, and the pyshical distance is indeed painful...but to not have the one you call husband or wife not at your side when you reverie, or there when you wake, or even there for meals or just to fondly watch..." She shook her head and then blinked with a little laugh, noticing that she was rambling. "Forgive me, I do carry on sometimes."

"Oh good...because if this particular design works, then I'll be using it quite a lot." After all, an arrow that coudl deliver something via it's tip into an enemy, or even carry something such as powder that could be detonated with a little fire....overly useful and people like that. Though another look at the liquid that now filled the little vile. The last of the venom she had from Cymarron...worthwile cause. A little nod. "Ineed I am...test against wood and what not...maybe something more fleshy..." Though she didn't know what...Malik wouldn't appreciate her filling dinner with arrows, and she wasn't one to go randomly shook something living just for purposes of investigating. Eh she'd figure that one later. Thus she took to cleaning up the little mess she had made, pouring what was left of the metal into another retancular mold so that it would cool back into a bar. "If all goes well, I will be a very happy elf and you will be a very rewarded ogre for helping me out." She saw a business opportunity in Broog as well that perhaps Malik had or hadn't taken advantage of yet. He had mentioned that he had been considering it seeing as he had heard remarks on her ring, but she didn't see him doing it thus far.

"Well...considering all things, anything has the potiential to cause bodily harm, or even poison. That's why they make counteractants that will let the intended original affect take place, but neutralize poisons." Then he had a little bright idea and reached into his curcoat pocket, pulling out that little bag of tear shaped stones of various clear, blue and green hues. Opening the bag he fished out a few and handed them over to Zahara. "These, actually, do have a slight toxin neutralizing property...cleansers if you will, being one of thier affects. Terra Bud Drops...the Andal plane itself produces them in bodies of water. Though not as easy to get a hold of as you may think. You could try to encorporate that." A little shake of his head. "Personally I couldn't tell you if surface and underdark things such as this would work in concert. Not exactly my main interest of study..." Though look at that, he had a new goal...that amused smile as he popped one of those little crystals into his mouth. Ate them like a certain red streaked haired elf ate cinnamon really.
