I...
Janani has met Cora three times, now, and each was not...exactly the friendliest of meetings. The first time, Cora was...she was somebody else. Mystina said that, normally, Cora was very nice, the kindest sweetest person you could meet. She... She was crying. The rest of the crowd around her, comforting and consoling her, are lost to her memories. Janani takes another step back, afraid that she may be a cause of something. The second time, just a few nights ago by her count, Cora's temper flared when Janani talked...
You aren't... You aren't mad at me are you? The Fae, Mystina, said you were a very kind person... Yet...this is the second time I've seen...
Janani looks half-ready to cry, despite her normal exhuberant self. Blinking, she turns her head to note Mel's comment. It's half-lost to her, however.

:::Cora finds herself rubbing her head. She's actually a little relieved to see Melliandra leave. After a moment to herself, she opens her eyes, and addresses Janani:::
No, Miss. I am not mad at you. I don't have reason to be, do I? I confess that I am frustrated though. Things have not been particularly normal here lately. Last we met, I was at a point where my immotions couldn't handle any more confusion...
:::she paused:::
And I AM confused... :::she was calming down a little, and Cora approached the giant woman:::
Did Jordan tell you my name?

Jor...dan?
Janani blinks. Who's "Jordan"? She puts a finger to her chin before looking up in thought. She repeats the name a few times, rolling it around on her tongue. Nope. The name rings absolutely no bells. She decides to just answer the question by giving the right name.
It was Mystina, when we first met. You were...crying.
Janani tilts her head. She finally soaks in all that Cora said.
It's a relief to know you aren't mad at me. Tacitus, the other night, implied you might have been... What was it he said...?
Janani, once again, enters thought. What was it that Tacitus said the other night...?

...Tacitus!?
:::Cora's heart wrenches:::
You've seen him!?

Of course...
Janani blinks as she's thrown from her thoughts by Cora's sudden, estatic question. She has no idea that Tacitus has been hiding his name, nor does she know why. Janani gives Cora an inquisitive note as she continues.
It was just a few nights ago... You stormed off shortly after I faded in...

No... You were both here when I arrived...
Janani is confused. It doesn't help that she's not quite as intune with human emotions as she would be in about 1200 years, give or take. The look in Cora's eyes is alien to her. She has absolutely no idea that she's probably mucking carefully laid plans. Janani tries to wear a smile, but it almost seems artificial.
You seemed to be discussing something... Now... What was it he told me...?
Janani tries to think, again. This time, however, she leaves that to the back of her head so she can listen to what Cora has to say. Keep...from...Cora? Keep what from Cora?

:::Cora was utterly confused. She shook her head, and decided that it had to be this woman who was confused:::
When I first saw you here, the other 'night' I was with Jordan. He introduced himself to you, remember?

Janani still has no recollection of having ever met this "Jordan" character. She knows she messed up by saying "Tashums", but she was corrected.
He looks the same as Tacitus! I accidently called him Tashums, but that was my mistake... You look the same as when I first met you, but Tacitus seemed to believe you had altered greatly in appearance.
Janani's about to protest more, but she stops herself. She has no idea that Mercy 7 was the woman she saw her first time gazing upon Cora. She also has no idea that Tacitus' percieved physical appearance has changed so much. She sees things very differnetly from humans. Looking up to Cora, Janani finds the courage to continue, nonetheless.
I don't remember any "Jordan"!
Before Janani can continue, she begins to fade. She has no idea what's going on, but her stature pretty much returns to what it was as she arrived in the Brink. Her hands are on her hips, but she's gone before she can protest any further. She's not angry, and that was clearly on her face. Janani's just a tad upset, like she's being accused of something she doesn't like called.

:::Cora just stands there for a moment:::
This is beginning to be rediculous...what is going on with this place!? There is definately something strange a-foot.
:::Suddenly her heart ached. She felt like if she could only see the Captain he could set it straight for her, but she hadn't seen him either, and it had been months...she thought. She had to ask about that as well...but her heart didn't really feel the purpose of seeing them, it wanted to see them for the sake of seeing them:::
What is going on...?
:::She could have cried. But she rubbed her forehead again, and headed back to her room...that room was becoming boring, but at least it didn't hurt her head:::

Tac blinks in midstride, pulling a Jan and getting in a small accident involving three chairs and a table, Oh The Humanity!!! He lays there strwen about on the ground after having made quite a commotion, quite surprised to now find himself dazed and confused after a 3 chair, one table, and one human pileup. All he needed now was a seal on a ball on which to balance the entire act and he'd be ready for the circus.

:::Cora was almost dreading walking into the main room when she left her bed, but there was nothing to do in her room but exercise, and perhaps practice her brink power (which she'd just finished and woken up from) and practice her english from the books she took from the library, which she'd managed to study enough to be tired of them for how:::
:::She peeked out... it was Mr. Daize again. He wasn't the LAST person she wanted to see, so she stepped forward, he seemed to be uncomfortable:::
Mr. Daize... are you, alright?

Tac chuckled slightly as he shifted a bit to see Cora, "Me? Oh, I'm just fine, really. Remember that really tall angel? I thought I'd reenact one of her entrances with my own. I think I did a rather good job, myself. What I lack in size I make up for in crashability. I managed to make a 3 chair pileup all by my lonesome." He slowly pulled himself from the wreckage and stood looking at it, "Well now, if that had come out looking like that intentionally I might just have to call it art." He dusted himself off a bit before giving a half bow to Cora with a bit of a flourish, "So Miss Cora, now that we know I'm at least not going to die from a chair related injury, how are you this fine day? Or night. Or...something."

:::She nodded, and mimiced his bow, in case it was polite:::
Well, at least you're not injured.
:::as for how she was feeling:::
I have felt better, I think. :::And that was simply the honest truth:::

Tac smiled, "Come now Miss Cora, I can't rightly see how anyone could be anything less than in the best of spirits today, especially yourself. Lets have a seat." He motioned to one of the chairs that hadn't been involved in the crash, he'd pick them up later. He pulled a chair out for her to sit, motioning for her to take a seat as he began, "The other day we were talking about the others, were we not?"
