I'm not one for boxing movies, but I did like Real Steel. A boxing movie with robots. 8D

Real Steal was pretty great, except I feel like the ending had no closure.

I mean, like, next day, what happens?
Kid goes to live with stupid aunt and never sees Wolverine again, and the robot doesn't box anymore?
Kid lives with aunt, but boxes with Wolverine, who is now a "real boxer" again, cause he's boxing for the robot?
Strange Asian woman kills Wolverine and Kid and steals robot?
Also, they never ever expanded on the fact that the robot has some form of AI in it.

But overall, liked it! =D

Very true. I especially agree with that last point. They could have revealed more about the AI. I mean, it did save the boy, didn't it? It was clearly a grab, not a snag.
I'm not sure how it went though. I mean, they did show the aunt in the audience rooting for the kid and his robot. Maybe she allowed Wolverine to stay for the kid? But then again, it's all guess work, and you're right. They could have shown us a better closed ending, even if it wasn't likely to happen.

But again, I really liked it. As I said, I'm not a fan of boxing movies. I usually hate seeing people get beat up and I just hate watching a movie about it. But this movie had a different take on boxing as a movie, in a way, and I quite enjoyed it and was pleased with the result. Plus, robots can be quite awesome. 8D
