Its not impossible to kill a force user. Its all about having the right tools at hand to deal with a force user's tricks. also a little prior knowledge of your target is almost required as well.

Very true! Although if they were seperated...but the point is moot... I guess we can agree that a weak learner or padawan away from their master *could* lose...but the chances of seperation are most slim...
Edit: Oh yea! You can definitely kill a force user with the above! I'm talking about outdueling a force user...

Okay.
FU:I see you do not like neon colors.
NFU:No s**t.
FU:Time to die,Mr.Galactikon!
NFU:Ha!You fail your roll to terrorize me and thus throwing off your attack,I roll and score a critical hit!
FU:Ow,you sliced open my leg and got my robes bloody.
FU Consular:Cast strength,dexterity,health,and defense buffs.
FU:Cast speed, then use the double turns to use two lightsaber throws.I success and get a critical on my second attack.Drop your loot b***h!
NFU:Ow...my insides burn with the pain of a super nova.I use my final attack feat and deal half damage, putting you in the red. Then drop...oh s**t,all twenty of my bacta canisters.

Except Cortosis is really expensive, a pain in the a** to mold (extremely brittle), and really rare, and Phrik just blocks, rather than shorts out the blade, and usually is restricted for military usage.
Plus, any "battle-hardened" person wouldn't be using a sword in this day and age in the first place. In the age of blasters, the sword has been tossed aside.
You'd be like a samurai in Iraq. and without powers as well. Trust me, only the people who actually want to train do train, but even they don't fare much of a chance.
I mean, what are you trying to imply? You're going to go kill all of Drako's apprentices?
The title "apprentice" means only that they are underneath their master. Usually only those who are knights are even shown to others. Sith usually are quite secretive on their training, to prevent any... unfortunate deaths.
But as I said, in the RP we have, just stick to the idea. In the real universe, Padawans have defeated knights, and knights have defeated masters. Anything is possible, but its not likely.

Not unless I wanted to piss off a Sith Lord...which drops my life expectancy time to -1000 real quick...but If I were to get in a fight with one yea. Cortosis is hard to mold, but Cortosis WEAVE alloy blocks like Phrik dows...But yea, Blasters are good, but Verpine Shatterguns are better...

you could do cortosis weave (still a pain in the butt), but what's the point of doing that when you could just use phrik alloy? Cortosis is neat because with a pure blade, its very strong, but brittle (like titanium, very strong metal, but shatters when broken) and it shorts out sabers for anywhere up to several seconds when it connects.
just stick to your guns. let the jedi handle the sith.

You boys realize what I said about vibroblades had nothing to do with a straight on fight right?

@cale: yes.
@paul: kind of defeats the purpose, doesn't it? cortosis-phrik doesn't do anything special, except possibly give the forger one hell of a bad time.

My question to Paul is, why mess with the Jedi and Sith anyway?

Oh I will stay the hell out of fights with Jedi Sith if possible. Also this isn't about my char. per se, just in general... Cortosis-Phrik blocks sabers! That's all it needs to do...and Echani Smiths are prolly among the few that could pull it off...

But Paul, why use a cortosis/phrik mix when you could just use one or the other?
I mean, phrik is pretty common, its just usually hogged by the military because it also makes quite a decent armor plating... I think Acclamator armor was made of phrik.
Either way, why mix the two if you don't get any benefits?
Its just stupid really. I mean, why add cortosis to phrik alloy (probably weakening it due to the fact its no longer a pure metal or pure alloy) when you don't get the benefit of shorting out the blade?
Its just plain folley.

Darkened Angel What's a shattergun? * shuts off the now-blaring noob-alert * I dunno. I used to but its been awhile. From what I can tell the weapon shoots a blast that causes an item or person to "Break".
