American Culture has a 'bigger is better' ideal. Look at car Culture. Do you see any straight minded man driving a mini cooper or do you see them driving a hummer.

A--Minty_Fresh--Mint Hey to anyone who is on! how's life? Sadly, I've never been to a convention...I hope someday. -Edit: I'll post soon in the events, gotta go do something first. Tell me what state you live in and depending on what state (I'm sorry northern and southern Cali is too far) and I'll tell you all the conventions in the state and if you live in one of the original 13 colonies I may tell you the next state over.

I know of a few conventions that go on up here in the northeast, I just don't have a car. So once I get one...I can go on adventures. 3nodding

That's what I'm jealous about the east coast. Mass transit is better there then in the western states. I think LA is the only city with a subway and Seattle only has a one way monorail with taxi's you have to call over hold out your figure. There are buses at least.

:/ That sucks, although there are downsides to the east coast. Never been in a taxi though.
The public transit isn't too great in my town, but I don't live in a city so that would explain that. There is one bus though that goes through and would take me to a bigger town where I can get another bus to a train station and go from there. So if I really needed to I could.
