*Mercy's eyes widened slightly but she refused to fear him and stood her ground watching him.* "So . . . . . If I asked you right now JInx if she wanted me . . . would you lie?" *She spoke through gritted teeth yet anyone could tell she looked completely defeated as she stared at her hands.*

Jinx's smiled knowing the look on her face "Would I lie, in a way. It would just be up to you to decided what part of what I said is true." He looked her over "Like I could say something like 'If you really get down to it all she is after is your power, and your family. Sense she is power hungry, but there is in her own way a love there for you.'" He smirked "See it is quite easy, its just up to you to decided what part of what I said is the truth, and what is the lie."

*She thought about it for a moment then a smile crossed her face as she walked to him and kissed his cheek.* "Thank you Jinx." *She said as sweet as she normally did to him.* "I'll talk to her . . . . You'll not bully me again though." *she said firmly as she stepped back and nodded once.* "You see . . . . . Lav is the reason I am even alive today. I was ashamed of my past and I had no future, then I don't know I met her, and in my own way I love her too." *She spun in a circle, it was impossible to tell now that she ahd been about to cry only moments beforehand.* "She could have my power, and I would gladly help her overthrow my father and the whole pure Den'nali clan. . . . " *She shrugged and stopped right in front of him bending down and smoothing Edwards hair then looked into his eyes, her full with a sence of determination.* "So, I'm deciding. . . that it doesn't really matter what you say . . . . or what your answer is. If she wants me dead, then what good am I around here?" *The logic made sence in her head and she cared not if it did in anyone elses. She bent down to play with Edward but kept her eyes locked on Jinx's face.* "I am no child Jinx. I know what my decisions are, and I have No reason to prove that to you."

He smiled at her, the same cold smile he had had for a while now "I will do as I please Mercy. Do you think you are her reason for being alive? Do you not think she is ashamed of her past, and has no future? If you think it would be her's than you are slower than anyone could ever imagine. The Den'nali are not wanted by her, the Council wants the Den'nali, she is after all a Council brat. Your death would change nothing so why would she kill you?" He leaned against the window frame, not even looking at her "You are more of a child than you think, you let your emotions rule you too much, you over excite to easy, you anger to quick."

Wolf nodded at Voro Thank you, it is.. Then his attention snapped to Mercy. He snarled at Jinx then hopped off the couch, morphing into a human-esqe form and wrapping his arms around Mercy. He bent down and murmured in her ear. Mercy, dont you dare listen to that bullshite. He stared solemnly at Jinx while holding Mercy.
Chacho blushed slightly, modestly accepting the compliment with a soft 'thank you' She liked Voro, he was so nice, Mercy scared her slightly but she looked up to her. She watched her brother get up and feeling slightly alone, she proceeded to hold onto Voros sleeve.

"And I think you are an old bat who sees only what he wants. Don't try to figure me out Jinx. have reasons for getting angry and for showing any emotion. Do you think I was not raised properly as a doll? . . . " *She giggled at him though then covered with a smile.* "Now who is hearing what they want . . . what was it. . . . . that's in your little head . . . because I am simply stating what I want and what I will do. I care not if she does the same or not. I know you are much older and I know you are wiser, but don't try to pretend to understand my motives." *She laughed at herself now and glanced at her hands willing the blood away again.* "She may not care about my existance . . . . yet I live now partly for hers. More for myself yet I always want to be around her so I think it evens out don't you? . . . Plus think about it this way my darling . . . who is next in line to take over the Den'nali clan?" *She smiled angelically and turned her head hiding it in Wolf's sleeve then turned back standing straight.* "And when that day comes. . . . shall I expect my death to be by her hands Jinx?"

He looked at Wolf "Ah but you do not know how true the things I say are Wolf. Do not be so quick to react when you have no idea what people think" He glanced at Mercy "I do not need to try Mercy, you are simple to figure you, just as every young vampire to day. Everything is so plainly written in how you act and how you speak. I do not care what you want, nor do I care what you will do. Understand you motives? What motives?" He glanced down at her "She is only a gather for the Council, not the excutioner. Your death will be at the hands of one of the Council members, more than likely her Father."

Wolf scoffed and shrugged. I really dont care, nor do I really listen to what people say. I just dont like seeing Mercy upset. And I especially dont feel kindly towards the people or person who is causing it. He gave a cool smile and placed his hand absentmindedly on Mercys head.

*Mercy turned around and glared at him.* "Wolf. . . . this isn't your battle love." *She shook her head and looked back to Jinx.* "Assume what you will I tire of argueing over something that doesn't matter. That time will come soon though Jinx. That clan will be mine . . . . and when the day comes that I face Lav's father. . . . . I wonder what ties she will hold up. Those to an old one of her clan, a loyalty that has never been crossed. . . . or if she will side with her father. You think me weak Jinx and frankly I don't care. Your not one that I am worrying about. Go on thinking I am nothing but a small child with a rash mind and a quick tongue. But until the day comes that LAv will either fight to keep me alive or betray her clan, I'll stay by her side as I always have. Countlessly. And there isn't much you can do to sway my loyalties." *She nodded once and grabbed Wolf's arm.* "And you hush!" *She whispered.* "I can take care of myself and there is no reason for you to be cross with Jinx!" *She nodded but couldn't hide her smile as she leaned up and kissed his cheek loudly so the whole room coudl hear.*

Wolf looked down at her and smiled. I know you can. He kissed the top of her head and went to sit back on the couch, chuckling as he saw his sister on Voros sleeve. Let me know if she becomes a nuicence to you.

He looked at Mercy "Betray her clan, the clan betrayed her first. She holds no loyalties to it now other than her blood. Her father is the only one other than her that is of the clan so truly it is a loyality to her Father and one of the last of her blood." He moved a little and stood next to Mercy "I think you weak because next to her Father, only the highest of the Demon Knights could take him on. You would not even make there lowest ranking, he would kill you before you moved." He moves past her walking out of the room, even his walk was different
Edward looked at Mercy and Wolf "I would think wisely over what Jinx said Mercy. He never gets that way unless he sense something bad is about to happen. Mother is getting restless with her life, she will soon want excitement that you can not provide." His voice was wiser than his age

He smiled at the girl. "She can be overwhelming for her size. you get used to it really. But its best to leave her to her fights and not to interfere. Now I need to know when."

"I didn't say I would win. . . And I was tlaking about this clan you adorable old man!" *She whispered and smiled down to Edward sitting on the ground hoping he too wasn't cross with her. She nodded her head.* "I don't understand why Lav and now JInx have been so cross. . . . I'm not sure what I have done. But, I've been thinking and wondering about what will happen the day I take over the Den'nali clan. I, personally not be able to take him on . . . . . but then again I don't plan on going it alone. He'll destroy the clan he wants taking me out, I've made sure that the Den'nali will not stand without me being alive." *She growled as she thought out loud then realized she was speaking to edward and smiled leaning forward.* "I think I am quite exciting little man." *Her voice held the affection that she had always had with him.*

Wolf assumed he was talking to him with that last statement. Whenever you think is best. He watched his sister as she looked pleasently at him. Wolf looked at Voro, then Mercy, then back at Voro.

Edward looked at Mercy "It is not you Mother is crossed with, and Jinx is not crossed with anyone he just stopped faking his personality, that is who Jinx is. He is as cold as Mother, and just as messed up." He glanced up at the moon slowly rising outside, then back at Mercy "Do you not know the rules of a Council fight? It is a one on one fight between on of the council members and the accused, to involve anyone else is an instant death sentance, to use anything other than your own power is a death sentance. The Den'nali can survive without you better than you think Mother Mercy, if Grandfather ruled them they would have no choice but to live."
