The first home gaming system radio shack tandy 2200? its an olllllldddddd gaming system, it was the s**t back then. now its a collectable... I know what an Atari is, who doesn't? But I always thought NES was the first home gaming sytem. I'm pretty stupid...

The first home gaming system radio shack tandy 2200? its an olllllldddddd gaming system, it was the s**t back then. now its a collectable... I know what an Atari is, who doesn't? Actually Atari was the first personal computer... you could just PLAY games on it and that was the major seller so it became sortof the first gaming system. But technically NES was the first system designed for gaming and only gaming. Sakura had an atari 2800 (thats not the gaming one, gaming generalised atari was the 8600 model)

Goddess Ace Didn't Artaris mess up people's TVs? Err... no. We still use the TV we bought as a monitor for our atari in the early 80's and it has worked longer than the 27" sony we bought in the late 90's
