xNebulousx I think people on my lj should help back me up on my post. It's getting to the point of ridiculous. When someone is telling me that I say stupid s**t...that's when enough becomes enough. stressed I'm so mad right now. Seems like I missed the "party." sweatdrop Otherwise I would've signed on and helped the best I could.

xNebulousx Here's how I ended off everything. How is it I always manage to piss people off because I have a different opinion? Isn't that how life is though? Full of people with other opinions?
It sucks though since it was automatically assumed that since other people had different opinions than mine that I got mad. The funny thing is, I never have dropped to that level as of late. I only get upset because of the fact that I get attacked verbally and called stupid, not knowing what I'm talking about, and the list is endless. From people I thought were a friend. That's the stinger. I can't say I'm mad more than I am just hurt. I thought people were better than degrading someone's honest opinion just because it doesn't fit their agenda. I mean, life is unfair, people are different, that's what happens. You can't make everyone accomodate you and always think you're correct especially over something so dynamic. Taken the fact that my stance was neither extreme, I would hate to see what would result in a more extreme opinion. It just goes to show a little something about human nature which is interesting to me since I'm in the field of human behaviors.
An opinion is something formed by a person which has little to no relevance to factual data and is only a strong conviction within that only tells a lot about an individual. I think that's where a lot of people get mixed up. "Truth redefines itself as what you choose to believe" is the best quote I can think of which represents why people hold these convictions so strongly. Their beliefs cross the boundaries of truth and if you pull in your personal, well, the personal just becomes the political. I understand all of this which is why I do not understand why people would accuse me of being "pissed" at them for simply disagreeing. I've had numerous conversations throughout my life without resorting to name calling; ad hominem.
An excerp from Wiki: An ad hominem argument, also known as argumentum ad hominem (Latin, literally "argument against the person") or attacking the messenger, involves replying to an argument or assertion by attacking the person presenting the argument or assertion rather than the argument itself. It is usually, though not always, a logical fallacy.
This is your basic logic 101. From the LiveJournal battles which resulted from posting an opinion, I saw a lot of this particular fallacy (as reminded by Aubry) and I was rather offended by getting trashed for something that only says something about my personal opinion. There were no absolute truths anywhere in that entire entry. Besides, we as humans don't even know what inherant truths there are but we can merely speculate and deduce to what we know. Even then, the information must be emperical. This entire situation is not really scientific in any way thus there are no rights and no wrongs. In sociology, there is no right answer and this being a situation that is entirely sociological, there are no rights or wrongs. My opinion is as valid as anyones' no matter how extreme it may be. If someone believes that this should become a White America, then that's their opinion. They're going to get a lot of static for that and they're probably in the vast minority for that type of thinking. However, it remains valid and within the realm of sociology.
But really, am I full of stupid s**t let alone stupid? I would think no more than everyone else. Brilliant! Really it is, straight to the point of the matter and not beating around the bush on how you felt about the matter at hand. This = teh Win for Shouj'.
