So Chris Tucker showed up at today's NBA Legends Brunch for some reason. Karl Malone had no idea what he was doing on stage, but he was very nice when I was speaking to him. Bill Walton is possibly the nicest human being ever. We talked for, like, 10 minutes about my National Service program (AmeriCorps*NCCC) amidst a throng, an actual throng of people. Magic and Dave Winfield sat together, and I talked to him after talking to Dave, who's a Saint Paul native like myself. I made good friends with Pete Maravich's sons and talked to Miss Eugene "Boo" Kennedy for some time. Doctor J and Rick Barry also made an appearance at my table.
The food was good, too. I'm glad I managed to get those tickets for free.
