Send them out in the woods alone with a sharp object? I doubt they'd all come back in one piece gonk

They're wolves, right? Have them dig it up. Teamwork!

They may be wolves, but they're still young. They definitely need a parent to guide/advise/referee

Hm....
Well, then I guess maybe you have to wonder if the whole tree thing is worth getting cold for.

They'd be heartbroken if I said "NO" to a Christmas tree. They're already aggravated as it is. I don't want to add to it.

Now I've been reading up on this holiday, for my 21st century research, and there's an elderly gentleman who breaks into your house, steals food and then leaves items as compensation, right?

Pretty much. His name is Santa Claus.

Perhaps you should barter some food for a tree!

I think I'm just going to have to get frozen and go get the tree. I guess I'll get to do all the cutting. Should be ... interesting cutting down and hauling a tree back to the house in this blizzard-like storm.
Ah well. I suppose that's all part of the "magic of the holidays"

I find this odd, do you not live near a 'farm?' Shouldn't there be associates willing to assist you in such a task? I was under the impression that you commanded some respect from the other Fables. You should ask them for assistance.

That's a good idea. I hadn't even thought of that. We do live "near" the Farm but it's still a pretty long trek to get there. However, I could always send Ghost over and then Rose could bring assistance..
I have no idea why I didn't think of that.
