Cody was starting to feel stomach sick. He shook his head and tried to clear it; but that only seemed to make it worse. He stumbled, knees weak.
He was going to be sick. Hopefully not all over the floor. His good hand went to his mouth.

Except he wasn't sick. Lori caught him with murmured encouragement and continued to help him down the hall. if they could just get to the elevator--!
Unfortunately, Cody would lose his legs as they got there. Dari caught him and sat with him on the floor of the elevator, wiping Cody's beading brow with his own shirt (Cody's after all, was already bloody). Lori went about tying a tourniquet around his arm. Cody was beginning to sweat far harder than the temperature called for.

Cody leaned against Dari and took a deep breath. "I love you," he managed.
Maia had doubled back with a tray of food. A steak and a plate of cookies. She wasn't entirely sure it was safe. She wasn't sure she cared. Toby needed her. She went to the restraint rooms, entered, and made a beeline for Toby. She didn't get too close, instead hesitating. "Love, I brought you something to eat."

"I love you too," Dari said. "I love you too."
"It's alright," Lori said, "This is totally normal." As far as they knew.
The pain crept up Cody's shoulder and into his chest. The elevator dinged, IDs were scanned, and Lori and Dari helped Cody out, thim time just carrying them between him.
Cody's heart began to palpitate.

Normal? This was normal? Cody had never been in so much pain in his life. His expression twisted in pain. The pain from his arm was moving--to his shoulder and his chest. His eyes moved between Dari and Lori wildly.

Cody would black out in the hallway to the med bay. He was bleeding rather badly still, but everyone knew it would stop and heal (if he didn't die first). Doctors and nurses, who had been alerted and waiting, swarmed Cody and got him into a room, began to try and quell the bleeding and get him hooked up to the proper machinery. Cody was pale. Too pale. Dari turned and wrapped his arms around Lori. Lori hugged him back.

Toby looked up when Maia returned. He grunted. He growled, but his expression didn't seem to be in it. Food. Like always. He leaned out and sniffed the air, then growled again.

"I brought your favorite cookies," Maia said, hesitating when he growled. She took a step closer. "Dinner, too." She held up a cookie awkwardly. She wasn't sure... But she trusted Toby.
"I'm going to give this to you now," she said.

Toby opened his mouth wide. It was slightly bloody still. He would have taken the cookie with his hand, but he was chained up. It had been a long time since he'd been in here. It was bringing back terrible memories.

Maia put the cookie into Toby's mouth. "I'm so sorry love," she said. She hated him being chained up like this. Normally she took him out to see the stars and did her best to make the full moon easier.
She offered up another cookie.

Toby took the cookies, chewed, and swallowed. Yeah, alright. Cookies were still good. He relaxed some and took another cookie. This time, after swallowing, he sucked his teeth to try and clean any remaining blood and booped his nose against Maia's cheek. A kiss!

Maia began to smile. He was alright! She held up the plate to him. "I probably over cooked the steak a bit," she admitted. "But the cookies are good." She leaned up to scratch at his ears. "I wish I could let you out."

Toby leaned forward a bit further to grab the steak, but he had to eat it rather unattractively what with the inconvenience of shackled wrists. it was a little overcooked, but it was fine. It sated that weird feeling in his chest a bit.
The cookies were, in fact, good. He grumbled at her letting him out. No, they wouldn't let her, not after he'd bitten someone. He was stuck in here.

"I'll stay with you," Maia offered. She reached up to stroke his cheek. Poor Toby. "Will you have to be in here next full moon, too?" She asked.

Toby shook his head. Nope! He hadn't eaten anyone or even really tried to, so he was sure he wouldn't have to keep coming to the restraint room in the future.
He nodded then toward the door. Go see Cody! Or someone! Anything but stay in here. She didn't need to keep him company. He didn't want her to! (well, emotionally he did, but logically and in his heart he did not)

Maia reached up and kissed his nose. Did he want her to go check on Cody? It was hard, without his board. "I love you," she said. "I'll be back."
She left the restraint room and headed towards medbay. She went in the elevator, down the hall and looked for Dari. Cody was probably unconscious by now. "Dari?"
