((Yeah, I'm mainly waiting on Kiki too, but I guess I can do a quick post now.))
Faya let go of Spy after half a minute, beaming up at him, still with tears in the corner of her eyes. She then quickly lifted a hand to her eyes, wiping away any tears that were apparent as quickly as possible. "Master, I just want to say, thank you. You did so much for me when I had barely done anything for you." She told him with child-like admiration, staring up at him like he was her hero. But when Emmett continued to talk and more and more people began to enter the portal, the young oni looked behind her, biting her bottom lip quickly before she looked back to Spy. She really wanted to go on this mission, it felt like forever since she had gone on an adventure. Plus, Scout was going and she was starting to like Scout, well from what she saw in the first real conversation they've had together. Heh, well, she wasn't going to fall head over heels for the guy, but she was a woman now and she could make her own decisions. "I guess I should go." She mumbled lightly, but she was still loud enough for the masked man to hear. She then looked back up to him, a bit disappointed. "I guess I should say goodbye, for now."

((I'm sorry guys. I'm trying to think of something good to post, but I've got so much on my mind with recruiting and all this other stuff mixing with a writer's block that I can't post anything right now... I'll try tomorrow after I talk to recruiter if my family will leave me alone to let me think by myself for about 10 or 15 minutes! >_< ))

Raidou felt the ground shake from under him, he quickly put the ear plugs in his ears. Once that was done he released his demon, High Pixie. Raidou quickly stuffed the extra pair of plugs he had in his demon's ears. Before he did though, he gave her the orders to cure anyone's paralysis the best she could during the battle.

The ground shook some more as they approached the desert area. It felt as if something was lurking under ground. Some of the local wild life could be seen scurrying across the fields as if running away from something. What ever it was they were running away from seemed to finally catch up as a giant dragon like creature exploded from the ground Maverick took a step back at the loud creature's screech. Even with ear plugs it was still very loud. He was certain that if he didnt have them, his ear drums would of ruptured from the screech. "Something tells me this is not going to be easy" he sighed as he stood ready for battleCroix grunted a bit at the loud screeching noise. He looked back at Nerwin. He was concerned with her well being seeing as it was her first battle with the group. "You ok there? Your not losing your composure now are you?"

Soldier clapped Medic on the back once he was standing up. Yeah, he had gotten over the whole burger thing tanks to the idea of dragons. Horray for killing things larger than yourself! "Let's move it!" He then sprinted off, hoping to make it-- which thankfully the two of them did, if just barely. He grabbed the ear plugs and put them in, grumbling about how he was only doing it so he wouldn't have to listen to Medic bitching at him if he didn't. As the dragon came out and screeched, Soldier screamed back at it before holding his rocket launcher in a ready position to fire at it. Scout frowned and stated, "I run fastah with cleats on 'cause they grip the dirt bettah. Besides, these things are made a' metal. Ya evah been kicked in the face wid one a' these? Hurt's like a b***h!" He grabbed what he needed, including the earplugs, which he put in, before walking out of the room through the portal. He gritted his teeth and threw his hands over his ears as it screeched at them. "Jesus! What the ******** is that thing? That aint no dragon!" Oomizu walked up behind Scout with a wide grin as the dragon practically announced itself to the group. "A Diablos! Kick a**! I never thought I'd get to see one this close. But... That doesn't look like a baby... At least, not a young one. It must have just matured... Damn. That probably means we'll have to kill it instead of train it to protect the city." She pouted, saddened by this thought. It really was a beauty... Even if they could be a pain in the a**. Meiko laughed as Gumi got free. Meiko's work here was done~! She turned her head phones to silencing mode before walking outside. She saw the dragon and blinked in surprise by its size. (She couldn't hear anything, so the noise was not what surprised her most.) Gakupo joined her and looked up towards the beast. He also couldn't hear a thing, but that didn't stop him from trying to talk to some one who might hear him. "That dragon is not at all lie the ones Luka deals with... I don't even know if she could get it to behave for her..."
Hiruko was still in the portal room when he could see through the portal what was going on. He watched carefully before he turned to Spy. "You know what, you seem to have a good idea in not joining them. Perhaps I will join them with the next dragon." He's not a coward. Honest. He just knows when not to get involved.
Luki blushed bright red and looked down in embarrassment. "I- I'm not afraid of cats. They're cute little things. I just don't like them is all." He picked up the last of his tuna and put it in his mouth. He really hated letting any one see any sign of being weak or lame. He probably got it from Luka since she always got angry if any one even suggested they had seen her crying when she was sad or hurt. They were just strong people who didn't want people to think less of them for silly little things that were out of their control....

Medic easily kept up with the Soldier, glad the man was always so quick to forgive (or at least to forget) once he got out his initial anger. When he did get the earplugs, he must have not put one in correctly, as it fell free when the beast appeared, and shrieked. He cried out, unheard over the wyrm, and clasped a hand to his head. It was ringing; a good sign, it meant he could still hear, but when he pulled his hand away, there was a spot of red on his glove. Oh well, nothing the residual flow from his Medigun wouldn't fix. He'd just have to deal with it until it healed. This time, when he replaced the earplug, he made sure it was more secure. Now to take stock of which of his teammates were around, and where they were at.
Spy nodded mutely, mouth still slightly agape. He was still tense, and what little movements he made were still stiff and jerky, but with every passing moment where nothing overly unpleasant happened, he began to slowly regain control of himself. That is, up until the Medic went sprinting past him. He froze up again, this time to stop himself from doing anything stupid, but it seemed as if the BLU hadn't even noticed him. Almost insulting, but still generally a good thing. With the portal giving them a view of the battlefield, he even got the unexpected treat of seeing the "good doctor" in what looked like a good deal of pain. That was nice. Hiruko then spoke, and again, Spy nodded. It was nice that he wasn't being called out for his behavior. "...I think I will stay and watch..."

Azmaria soon finished the rest of the broth with a satisfied smile. Who knew that she was actually very hungry, or at least hungry enough to eat a whole portion. She then looked over to Luki and patted his hand gently, tilting her headto the side as the corners of her lips curved upwards in an endearing smile. "Luki, I'm sorry I misunderstood." She told him as she removed her hand from his own before she took another sip of her warm cup of tea. "I don't know if I don't like many things outside of the ordinary. I don't like friends fighting. I don't like being alone. I don't like darkness. I don't like bad people. I can't think of anything unique about my dislikes."
Tomoe smiled lightly as Alexander pulled her close to him and told her not to regret any of the past decisions they had made together and to only look onto the future from here. To be honest, that helped put her at ease some. "Well, since we are looking to the future, finish your training and join the task force. Do it for me and Kaoru please." She told him as she kissed him gently on the cheek, her tail swaying back and forth gently. Her body seemed to have healed itself back to its original state from before she was pregnant. She didn't even have stretch marks or anything hinting that she has given birth. Twas one of the perks of being a demoness that she truly did like.
Faya sighed lightly before she liftedoff the ground and flew into the portal, appearing on the other side in seconds. She continued to hover over the ground as she quirked a brow at the dragon that had just appeared before her. Her earplugs had not been properly fastened, so when it screamed out, it was enough to have her drop onto the ground, holding her ears with a wincing pain. "Damn it!" She cried out, although she was sure no one would hear it. Removing her hands from her ears, she saw blood, alot of it coming from her right ear. Apparently that ear drum had been blown and the pain coming from it was excruciating enough. "I need to be less reckless..." She mouthed to herself as she struggled to get up, her right hand still pressed firmly against the hurt ear, her left hand properly placing the ear plug back into the canal so no further damage could come to it. She then walked forward, the pain beginning to die down just slightly enough that it was manageable. "It is a dragon, just not the kind from fairytales and storybooks." She mouthed to Scout, hoping he at least saw her. She forced a friendly smile although it looked more pained than anything else.
When the dragon appeared from the sand, Bunko grinned. Especially since she and Oomizu had been dragon enthusists for a long time. Oomizu always wanted to trap one and make it into the ultimate pet, but that was when they were a lot younger. Then she looked around to the incoming group, she couldn't help but notice that Oomizu was there. Of course she would be, it was a freakin' dragon hunt! The ginger-haired woman quickly left the side of her mate before running over to the blond-haired woman she had known for way too long. "Oomizu! You're back!" She exclaimed, since during the time Oomizu was away helping Joseph, she had died. But then she was ressurrected, so she did wonder if she even knew that she had died at all. As she hugged her friend, she grinned before letting go of her, holding onto her shoulder as she looked out to the dragon. "I take it you know that this one's not going home with us huh?" She mouthed to her with a bit of a pout, since niether could hear at the moment.
Gumi continued to flatten her hair before she noticed her friends and her brother had walked into the portal that overlooked the desert scene before her. Since this was her first time on this planet as well as her very first mission, of course she was nervous. But seeing her friends so enthusiastic about the mission made the young Vocaloid a bit more calm at heart. After silencing her headphones like the others, she then entered the portal. She covered her eyes for a moment so they could get used to the blazing sunlight before she ran over to Gakupo once the ground began to rumble. When the great beast appeared, her eyes widened a bit as her mouth fell agape. "Oh. My. Gosh!" Gumi cried out, although because she silenced her headphones, she couldn't hear herself let alone anyone else who could be talking at that moment. She just stayed close to her brother, a hand holding a small bag in case it was soon needed.
Yuzuki tilted her head at the dragon as it appeared from the sand below. Her scanners quickly analyzed the dragon, noting his size, weight, scale density, and the amount of damage his attacks can make. She also factored in the harsh terrain that the dragon had made its home. This was sure as hell going to be one heck of a battle. She then lifted an arm, the metal of her body beginning to twist and fold backwards before reealing a powerful plasma cannon. She didn't know if she could do much damage to its armored-scales, but it never hurt to try. She stood at the ready in case anything was to happen next, she would not let her friends get hurt.

Raidou looked in amazement at the dragon, he had seen dragons before but not like this. He quickly pulled his sword out of its sheath. He motioned to High Pixie, the demon flew over and charged his blade with electrycity so maybe it could do more damage to the dragons scales. He walked over to Yuzuki and smiled, ready for just about anything

((hey guys! woulda posted yesterday but i was out and about XD Ok! lets keep this ball rolling!)) Maverick sighed. He knew that he would have to find a baby dragon for Oomizu after all this was over. He looked at the dragon trying to figure out a weakness he might be able to exploit.
The Dragon growled at the group and grunted as it charged forward at them before making a jump and quickly burrowing under the ground. It was now hunting its pray in complete stealth
"Gah! it vanished again!" Croix yelled out "this is not good... " he said as he got his lance into a shielding position scanning the area for any signs of the dragon.
"Oomizu. You seem to know about this dragon already, what should we be expecting" Lord Inu asked as he calmly walked up to her. "I can sense where it is at right now but not what its attack patterns will be."
Alexander nodded and smiled "Ok my love. Ill do it for you and our daughter. I want you both to be so well off, that you can have anything you want... even though we pretty much have that right now" he laughed lightly. "What do you say we swing by the office together right now?"

((yes it was a fun night out Dark Mavrick))
Nerwin moved to the right as the dragon charged forward, getting ready to jump and attack it from above when the dragon got close enough but than when the dragon dove underground again she let out a low growl. she would have to concentrate and feel the vibrations in the ground and use her eyes to check for any differences or signs of were the dragon might come up from.

Luki came out of his sulking when Azmaria apologized. It was so infrequent for people to apologize to him that at first he felt a little bad for making her think she had really upset him. He looked down before looking back up to her with a minor blush. "Do not worry about it. It's easiest if we just say the language barrier between the two of us made it a little difficult to understand. I speak English, but I make mistakes. Even a kappa can drown." Of course, he didn't stop to think about the fact that she wouldn't know about what a kappa was. He sat back in his seat and lightly sipped his tea as he listened to her. "... Your dislikes aren't un-unique. They are quite practical... Friends should always be there for one another and be an extension of a family, even when you have no real family. Loneliness brings uncertainty since no one is there to help you if you mess up. You never know what could be lurking in the dark... And even if there is no clear "good" or "bad" in the world, an ability to trust some one and know they won't harm you or let you down since they understand "right" and "wrong" is essential to survive in society. The things you dislike are things that any normal or sane person would agree that they don't like... Although, I do like the dark a little. Perhaps it's just because I enjoy the slight mystery of knowing what all is ahead of me and only knowing what is directly there." He gave a light shrug of his shoulders. "Then again, what would I know? These are all of my opinions. I'm sure you have your own, which all could be completely different from my own." He ave another light sip of his tea before reaching out for the kettle and pouring himself some ore before motioning if she wanted more as well. It's not like they needed to be any where, so they could take their time here in the sushi bar. Besides, a part of him was wanting some green tea ice cream or rainbow sherbet.
Oomizu caught a glimpse of Faya and Medic and instantly flew over to both and began to heal them. The sooner they got their ears fixed, the less likely they'd be permanately damaged for the rest of their lives (which, for Faya-- yeah, she realized it was Faya and, unlike Scout, was not about to freak out since she had a feeling she assumed perhaps some how Jack had brought her back-- would be for a VERY long time). She saw Bunko and grinned widely in a way that almost read "ISN'T THIS THE FREAKING COOLEST?!" Once she was sure both Medic and Faya were healed, she turned to Bunko and hugged her friend before pulling back and using sign language as she spoke. "Yeah. I just came home today just in time to see the Cop-Bots going crazy. I like what you did with your hair. It looks cute!" At the mention of the dragon, Oomizu pouted and nodded. "I would have named him Beast if we could bring him home... Such a shame." Oomizu looked to Inu and watched what he said before she carefully began to explain, using both the sign language and words to hopefully make what she was saying even more clear. "You already know about it's voice. When it wants to escape, it will bury under ground. Since we are in a large group, it will mostly likely attack like a shark from below to scatter us, assuming it doesn't cause earthquakes as it buries directly beneath us before lunging... Sonic Bombs work great for unearthing, but only when it is not mad. Watch out for the head. That will be the greats weapon since it is very hard and the skin is thick. It's chest will be the weakest point, and ice attacks work best against them since ice is a contradictory element to earth." She she spoke, she move some of her hair back so her long, elven ears could stick out. The occasionally twitched as she tried feeling for vibrations in the area rather than listen for sounds. (Though, a part of her was annoyed by the fact that she was showing her pointy ears to the group...) Scout looked to Faya and saw some of the blood from her ear and seemed worried until a pink light formed around Faya's head and he saw Oomizu was standing there. He watched what Faya said, not catching everything but fairly certain he knew what she had said. It was when Oomizu had started talking. He looked to her, completely confused. It looked like she was talking slowly, but there was so much she was saying... And what the ******** was up with her hands? Why was she moving them so much? He wanted to take his ear plugs out so he could ask, but knew better than to try after seeing Medic and Faya get hurt so easily already. Soldier, on the other hand, didn't get the hint that he was supposed to be watching people's mouths. Not that it mattered. He wouldn't have understood it, any ways. Instead, he kept ready, his rocket launcher in hand and ready to use. Gakupo glanced behind him and he made sure to look out to see who all was nearby. Once certain that Gumi and Meiko were nearby and safe, he drew out the rainbow-colored blade from his waist and held it at the ready. Meiko did catch on that she might want to watch what Oomizu was doing since she was the one that called together the mission earlier. She couldn't quite understand the English, but the sign language helped out some as she spoke. Once Oomizu was done, Meiko tapped Gumi and Gakupo's shoulder while pointing towards the general area of her chest and mouthed out, "Aim for its chest and watch out for the head." Once her message was given, she then carefully held her microphone stand, ready for what ever came their way.
